My biggest gripe (that wasn't mentioned) is the garbage cold-shoe mount, and a complete lack of 1/4-20 mounting thread which would allow me to use adaptors or mini ballheads for optimal placement. I run this on an FX3, and sometimes, when it's mounted high up, I can't even see the receiver screen. The plastic cold shoe is....not fantastic. I'm hoping a v2 will eventually be released with 32bit float, and the capability to lock in a microphone. If they can get their RF interference issue under control too, that would be really nice.
1 the case closes to charge and the switch is on the left of the rx. so take a magnet to the switch, keep the wind muffs on and put the case in the Puch, problem is solved for charging wit the wind muffs on. agree rf killed the mic 3.5m and won't be fixed

I bought this system this week and saw the thumbnail and instantly thought, oh no what have I done...watched the vid and ended up thinking mmmm not bad at all. Great content and you now have a new sub! Thanks, Peter, Vancouver
@@JohnLe i shoot 2 gh5 and a gh4 lumix for safety. For mic I use dji and backup is 2 tascams. I also have a rode on my safety cam. No gimbals. Just monopods and tripods. I use a dji mini 3 pro as an arial . There are 2 of us shooting video.
@@manilamartin1001 oh nice, I was meaning more specifically how you use your dji mic… do you use it with a lav? Where do you mount it on the groom or officiant
@@JohnLe I use a cheap lav that I got already. I think it's a saramonic. I mic the groom. I hate seeing mics on the bride. I will set the second mic on the podium no lav. I used to use saramonic mics but like the dji sound much better.
do you have any positives or negatives? please share :)

Thank god for you. Someone actually willing to speak out about this overly marketed, overpromised and underwhelming product.
DJI has gotten so big that I feel like all the creators won’t say anything. About them bc they want their gear to test

DJI has solved many of the flaws in their firmware updates now so you should be good with the microphone
Love this mic for wedding videos. I also love pairing it with action 2 for vlogs

@@manilamartin1001 Do you just record locally and sync later?
I sold off mine due to all the reasons you mentioned. Plus the fact that the internally recorded files lags when synced with camera in post.
Does it still have the audio sync issues?
@@rudrakawser5184
I have sold mine off. So I have no idea. Sorry.
Bro that issue is solved now together with others in the latest firmware update 👀
