Hey, just wanted to drop by to say thanks for the words of encouragement here! Emile is still working with the therapists and getting the right treatment and medication for things. This has all been a real rollercoaster, and I (among many others) have been fighting tooth and nail to keep our lips sealed about what we know. This is not even one of those "only sorry because you got caught" situations, because he was going to therapy for several months before any of this stuff even came out. He knew on his own that he had problems and he was already working to fix them of his own volition. He wanted to do it years ago, but Covid made it damn near impossible to get proper treatment. There's more to that story, but again I leave that for him to tell.
I have told Emile that when he does make a statement, he will not be doing it alone. I'm glad to see that some of you will be with us too.

Just to let everyone know; Chugga was apparently at Momocon! He was mainly with Tim and his girlfriend, but it's clear he's getting into a better spot, and perhaps he'll be more active in the near future.
So Emile's return may be sooner than anticipated.

I’m one of those people who wait for both sides of the story to come out. So I believed in Emile’s innocence until the evidence say other wise. I’m always innocent until proven guilty. I hope Emile does come back to do let’s plays but I’ll respect his choice if he doesn’t come back.

Twenty years feels like an eternity for a kitty. I'm certain his life was fulfilling.
I'm happy that Emile is getting kinder comments now, but for anyone saying things like "He wasn't perfect either. I'm glad he recognized his mistakes. He'll do better now."
I hope you all realize what a slap in the face that it is. He was already going to therapy, already doing his best to better himself. The trauma and awful experiences he went through here aren't some "blessing in disguise" and this isn't a happy ending.
The fact that he even had to exonerate himself in the first place is awful. In Emile's own words:
"It's humiliating to tell you even this much. In order to be believed, I have to tell everyone about my childhood trauma, my sex life, my health issues, my breakup, what went on in therapy, the mental ward, how my accuser wanted to use me for sex, and how I almost died because of this. It's extremely painful to talk about. People think they're owed that from me, and no one will listen if I just say 'I didn't mean that' or 'I was only a teenager.' This is the price I've paid to show I wasn't preying on someone. I refuse to call it a win that I could explain myself in this way. I didn't win when I went through that."
It's wonderful to show support, but please be mindful of what you say. It can still be hurtful, and still be wrong.

Even though i dont watch your content much anymore you were a big light in my younger life and seeing the aftermath of everyone try to hurt you in such a vulnerable time after kirby passed was truely a shit icing on a shit cake. And i'm happy you've found yourself and have a great friend backing you and a hopefully loving gf (i know nothing about her.) and i wanted to do the most i could to support childhood hero regardless of his flaws. He was falsely accused of sexual harassment by a clout chasing cancel pig known as Lady Emily.
Masae, Antdude and Miss Fushi and a former friend of Chugga named Lawly also threw accusations, but all of them were either lies, exaggerations or deliberately omitted facts and details that painted Chugga as a villain, lies through omission.
They didn’t have any evidence or proof and though Emily stated she talked to a half a dozen woman who shared similiar experiences and Masae, his ex-fiancé, also claimed he has had problem talking with woman neither had anyone come forward to validate that claim, what little evidence was presented was manipulated to make Chugga look bad.
He is doing better and all the accusers lost credibility and power.

I’m just gonna leave this comment here but according to Tim’s Reddit post, Emile is actually getting the help he needs & the situation is very serious. Apparently Emile is at a facility & is on some heavy medication. He even told his friends to stay away from him.

@@samh466I mean Lasagna was the final team member (gotten around the 8th gym mark while the other 5 were caught by around the 4th gym mark) and he has the lowest number of battles won by proxy of not having as much screen/battle time as the other 5 so I think that’s definitely a factor at play
@@Sakura_Truffle Hello again, of course I'd expect the overall number of wins to be lower, that's why I was referring to the ratio. In theory you'd expect the percentage won to be the same across the board but I will concede that being picked up last does primarily mean fighting harder battles, so fair enough
@@samh466 Having to set-up to use their full power definitely hindered Lasagna in the long run, but I think it was mostly just timing. Being caught right before the League and the difficulty spike postgame were the main culprits.
@@samh466 That is actually something I didn’t think of for some reason (the harder fights like E4 and it’s rematch, White Tree Hollow, PWT, etc.). I was mostly going based on “last to be caught equals less battles to be used in” since the other 5 team members dealt with most of the main story fights while Lasagna’s fights only started around the main Plasma Frigate visit (after the 8th gym) and on. I think if Lasagna either had a bit more play time or maybe lost a few less fights he’d definitely have a higher percentage.
After reading Chugga's response today I think he's suffered enough, clearly he regrets the things he's done and is getting the help he needs. Whether or not he returns to youtube, hope he knows there's still people out there rooting for him.

@@dark2cody I did not want to say it, but more or less. Male autists are nigh constantly subjected to malicious misunderstandings by the women we try to interact with, and the inherent sexism means the mob will always assume her report is flawless. If even someone as detrimentally careful as Emile fell victim, then they are wrong and we simply can't avoid false accusations by changing our own behavior (i.e. being neurotypical and popular). Maybe it's them who should start trying to understand us. And I just wish there was a productive way of talking about this, but 'incel' slander is the default leading anyone who tries to be cast out and left to fester to become that very thing.
I will still never give up hope, I will not let the rot consume me, and in fact I am still planning to invite out a female friend today. And I know it isn't just men who understand chugga. But... will I ever feel secure? Can I ever be vulnerable? Or will I always be belittled because "women have it worse"?

After reading his document, taking some time to reflect on it, I think I can comment now. I waited until his response from all of this, and waited for all of this to tone down a bit.
Chugga, I'm truly sorry for everything that happened, I really am. You may have made mistakes, but you have a loving community who strived to see you get better sometime, and now I can finally be relieved you began the path of recovering from all of this, all I can say is that I admire you even more right now.
You may never post any videos again, and even if it's sad news to hear about, I'd much rather see you getting better mentally with each day that passes by, even if that means having no more new videos. But know this, you have (saying it again) a loving community that will be very much hyped when/if you decide to come back.
You're still the number 1 youtuber to quite a lot of us, your videos were inspiring to me and many others, and I'll never forget it. Twitter is cruel, RUclips is cruel, people are cruel, but I'm glad to see you're doing better for yourself mainly.

Ever since Chugga's response I've been checking daily in the hopes of news that he's returned. Not because I want content, but because I so desperately want to see Chugga be able to move past this and to have fun making videos again. I don't want this to beat him.

Same... I just want things to go back to the way they used to... I don't want him to lose the passion he had for his craft or the downright contagious level of excitement he was able to achieve when doing what he loved. He was always able to cheer me up when I was feeling down... and he still is, that's never going to change!

I'd also like to see him react to more Nintendo directs, because he had some great reactions. Whether it was him looking forward to Pikmin 4, looking like he came in his pants from the announcement of Xenoblade 3 (my reaction was hardly any different), or feeling like he just won a decades long war with the announcement of the TTYD remaster.

Thanking your team at the end made me smile. We've come so far from threatening to leave your Venusaur outside with the aphids if he didn't perform well enough, to now giving your Pokémon backstories and personalities and arguably character development. It's great!
Recently saw a TwitterX post where Chugga went with some pals to a sports game, and it warms my heart seeing him so happy in the photos after everything that happened.

Back when you took a break to grieve Kirby, I went all the way back to your original Earthbound let’s play and watched every single let’s play you ever did (excluding the Megaman April Fools one) in chronological order, and I just finished this one. Your entire channel is overflowing with unforgettable moments that I love, and I don’t only mean the funny ones. If you were only humor it would get old eventually. You have so many heartfelt moments, such as when you talked about your dad during Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country, you making “all of us” be the one to land the final blow on Gygas, renaming Frog Glenn after his character arc is completed in Chrono Trigger, so much more. Heck, the entire Animal Crossing let’s play is incredibly heartfelt and sweet, since you built an entire town based solely on what the viewers wanted.

What pissed me off the most about this whole thing is that we have seen several LPs on this channel about jrpgs like Earthbound, both games of Pokémon Black and White, and even Chrono Trigger that teach people what humanity and compassion looks like and the merit of it, only for all those lessons to suddenly be disregard by like half the viewer base as if it all didn’t mean jack to anyone.

Yeah the lesson that it brought to accept your friends for who they are and to build them up despite the flaws you see them, in the cast of persona 4's case their shadows.
I got interested in the when when a guest from TRG, called superjeenius was playing a collab with them with the game castle crashers and wanted to check his content. At that point he was currently playing persona 4 golden and wanted to check it out as I had only a taste of the persona series from a friend. Long story short, this is what got me into the persona series.

Honestly the fact that a couple people on Twitter (who aren’t even the accusers) are still trying to drag his name down after what Emile went through, is enough to tell me that they just want him dead and think that he’s an irredeemable monster.

So, I've read Chuggaa's google doc that he released on his twitter and oh my god, it puts a whole new light on the situation.
Firstly, like in my other two comments, Chuggaa is at fault for SOME of the things that had happened, such as overstepping unclearly set boundaries and being a little pushy, but that's it! Nothing else. We should at least appreciate the fact that he has made continuous attempts to better himself and has learnt from his mistakes.
With that out of the way, let me go over the main points in the google doc, which Chuggaa does provide screenshots in.
Masae - Out of respect for Chuggaa's wishes as to not associate with Masae anymore, I'll be brief. They dated for 10 years and were engaged before having a difficult breakup 3 years ago. Chuggaa thought they were still good friends after, so that's why he uploaded the Splatoon 2 video with Masae's cameo.
Lady Emily - Unfortunately for her, things only get worse. All her arguements are now gone, reduced to atoms. She consented, actively participated and even encouraged the roleplay and other stuff she and Chuggaa did. He never constantly asked for feet pics, and the only one he asked for was the one of her wearing the shoes he got for her AS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT. The only reason Chuggaa got Emily those shoes was because she had said her old ones were starting to get ruined and Chuggaa wanted to be nice for a friend. Lady Emily also stating that Chuggaa's gf was from Scotland was, in technical terms, doxing as it wasn't known where Chuggaa's gf lived at the time.
Lawly - This... This is too much to go over here, but let me just say that MANY, and I mean, MANY of you people who threw labels onto Chuggaa owe him an apology. He NEVER seeked a romantic relationship with Lawly. He never wanted to do anything to her. In fact, Chuggaa cut contact with Lawly after his mom learned of the shirt she sent him, which caused Chuggaa to look back on the messages and realize how bad they were. Yes, they talked again later, but the things mentioned in those chats... you need to read the log to believe them.
With all this, I just want to say this: Chuggaa, if you don't plan on returning to YT and making videos I, and many of your fans, understand. You have been an integral part of many childhoods, mine included, and I wish you all the best in whatever you choose.

As someone who has been watching chuggaaconroy ever since the original fire red let's play was, it's amazing to see how much he has evolved thought the years. Man... Yes Emile made mistakes and crossed boundaries with an individual that caused them discomfort. This was wrong and it seems abundantly clear he knows this and wants himself to be better. I don't like how people are treating him like this mistake totally defines him and that he should just be discarded. Actually it was more than one incident, with more than one individual. The allegations combined seem to describe/show events spanning from as early as the first month of 2010, to mid-to-late 2023. I like that he’s seeking help though. May he end up a better and happier person.

Seeing as it has now been a few weeks with no new groundbreaking allegations or evidence emerging from the accusatory side, I would like to state the timeline of events I have noted down while following this controversy, as well as any concerns I have regarding all the evidence that has been put forwards.
Before that though, I would like to state that I encourage everyone to be civil if they choose to reply to my comment and that I do not condone any actions that Chuggaa has been alleged to have committed against the parties involved. I would also like to state that if anyone sees trolls in the comments to just ignore them and not respond to them at all. They are commenting that as they know it'll get a rise out of some of you and will continue to do so the more you respond to them.
==Timeline==
This all began before this episode was uploaded onto Chuggaa's channel, where he stated that he would be attending the upcoming Magfest between Jan 18th to Jan 21st 2024. As we know, upon uploading this final part of his BW2 LP, Chuggaa had also mentioned he was planning to live stream his attempts to get the remainder of the medals within BW2. Coincidently, around the same time, another RUclipsr known as Lady Emily was browsing the comments of a reddit post regarding the Jirad The Completionist controversy on a subreddit that, allegedly, hated her, r/youtubedrama. While she was looking through the comments, Lady Emily came across a comment thread talking about RUclipsrs who many considered to be "green flags", one of which set Lady Emily off. After seeing that comment, she took to Twitter (Or X for those who call it that) and started to vague post about being SH'd by a male RUclipsr which, of course, set Twitter into a blood crazed frenzy and, allegedly, harassing several male content creators, along with one Quinten Reviews.
Possibly to attempt damage control over what her vague post had caused, Lady Emily made a follow-up post, name dropping Chuggaa as the one who allegedly SH'd her, attaching oddly cropped screenshots of discord messages to prove her narrative. Twitter being Twitter, took this information and began to harass Chugaa which caused him to not only make a brief statement on Twitter, but to also pull out of Magfest so he could make a better apology later. Of course, this didn't matter to some people as they kept harassing him anyway.
However, at this point, a few people began to notice an inconstancy with Lady Emily's exposé and asked for her to provide the whole context to the situation. Claiming it as confusion regarding the events, she complied and, accidently, ended up revealing she consented to the whole thing, although some began to give her the excuse of "being sick with the flu so she couldn't properly consent." However, the damage had already been done as she had also claimed that she "knew there were other victims."
After Chuggaa made his proper apology on his much larger followed platform on Facebook, Lady Emily stated that she didn't accept the apology, claiming she had to have a friend get him to apologize previously AND added in a doxing claim, to which she provided no evidence for. It was after this, one the 24th of January, that things would start to get worse though, as former long time friend of Chuggaa's, MasaeAnela, would also make a statement about her experiences with Chuggaa, stating they were no longer friends after he made her feel uncomfortable and claimed that any cameo (I.E, Splatoon 2) or interaction/mention was before they had a falling out and was posted without her consent. However, there is no clear indication as to when they had a falling out, leading many to begin speculating when it happened. Many began to point towards the collab on TheRunawayGuys channel when Masae, Chuggaa, Jon (ProtonJon) and Tim (NintendoCapriSun) all played Super Mario 3D World. In episode 1, Chuggaa makes a comment about "looking up Masae's dress" and that she was clearly uncomfortable at that time. However, the thing is that this episode was recorded around 2014-2015 and yet, after this point, Masae had still interacted with and assisted Chuggaa with many projects after this point. At the end of her Twitter thread, Masae states that she will not talk further on the matter, nor will she talk about Chuggaa anymore. Within said thread as well, Masae had made a claim that she didn't say anything out of fear of Chuggaa's and TheRunawayGuys larger audiences and that not rocking the boat was safer, along with claims that Chuggaa had apologised several times and yet they always rang hollow.
Following this, Masae's partner, Brett, would also make a statement but mentions that he has had no interaction with Chuggaa at all, so his statement isn't really worth talking about. On the same day, both AntDude and his partner, MissFushiGaming, also made statements of their own, amplifying Masae's claims. AntDude stated that he and Chuggaa were friends in the past, but actions over the last few years formed a "wedge" between the two of them and stated that Chuggaa allegedly sent off putting texts to his partner, MissFushiGaming, yet provided no proof of said messages. The next day, he then claimed he "didn't want to get involved in drama" despite involving himself in some drama. To add onto this, AntDude could be considered unreliable as his previous stance on the Jirad situation had him backing Jirad until it was no longer good for him, causing him to do a 180 switch to going against Jirad. His partner, MissFushiGaming, only states that Chuggaa made her feel uncomfortable on many occassions, providing no context to the situation.
Lastly, we reach the most daming part of the controversy... the claims an individual going by "Lawly" put forward in a google doc. The very next day, Jan 25th, the speedrunner Werster makes a post with the google doc, accompanied by some screenshots within, that his friend made regarding a past interaction with Chuggaa. Werster claims that this individual would prefer to remain annoyomous so he was posting on their behalf. Within the google doc, this Lawly person claims that when they were 15 and Chuggaa was 19, they partook in RP with Chuggaa through AOL and saved the messages to their Gaia Online account. Lawly also claims they had kept in touch with Chuggaa recently, providing a discord screenshot of Chuggaa allegedly, more on that later, messaging them on discord. The RP contained within the google doc is quite cringe, as it was circa 2009/2010 humor at the time. However, the main thing people took from this google doc were two things Chuggaa said to Lawly. "I'M GOING TO R*** YOU!" and "Lolli sounds much better than pedocrush". This caused Twitter and Chuggaa's fans to go to war. Many people began to call Chuggaa a "groomer" or "P*do" while many of his fans began to defend him hard.
However, unknown to anyone by NCS, Chugga was fighting his own battles after coming back from Magfest regarding the whole situation. In a reddit post, NCS stated that Chuggaa had called a hotline, but didn't specify what hotline it was. Chuggaa also had to go to the hospital due to stomach ulcers and internal bleeding, however these were already present issues, but were most likely intensified due to the stress of the situation. NCS has also confirmed that Chuggaa has been seeking help and has been ordered to stay off social media for the time being by a doctor. The last we know of Chuggaa is that NCS dropped him off at the airport so he could go spend time with his girlfriend for a while.
Lastly, both NCS and ProtonJon have stated that they will be professionally distancing themselves from Chuggaa, with Tim stating he will be helping him. ProtonJon meanwhile has stated that he and NCS may end up making another collab channel to work with someone other than Chuggaa while TRG remains on an indefinite hitatus.
And that is all we know for now. NCS has stated that Chuggaa does plan to make a statement, but that will probably be when he gets back and on a podcast. There are a few people who think this was a coordinated attempt to ruin Chuggaa's career, and I can see why they would think that. However, I don't think that was the case. I do have my own concerns though regarding this whole thing.
==My Concerns==
1) How did Lady Emily know there were more people affected by Chuggaa? Did she guess? Or was she talking with people like Masae and MissFushiGaming behind the scenes?
2) Why did Lady Emily make a doxing claim after her SH claim failed?
3) Where is the proof from Masae, AntDude and MissFushiGaming?
4) When did Masae and Chuggaa have their falling out? Was it before 2019? Somewhere between 2019 and 2022? (I ask this as Masae did appear in Pikmin 3 mission mode, make art for Chuggaa in his Pokemon Platinum LP in 2015 - 2016, and gave him her practice copy of Okami HD to do the Coastal Devil Gate Trial and she never mentioned anything before 2022 as before the falling out.)
5) Is the google doc fake in any capacity? The main thing for me is the discord screenshot. There is a big inconsistency with the banner color as Chuggaa's, as of that time, should've been the same icy blue as his channel icon, as show in Lady Emily's evidence. However, for Lawly, the banner is the default green.
6) If Lawly has faked anything, what does that mean for Werster? Was he in on it, or is he just an innocent party getting caught up in this whole thing?
These are my main concerns with this whole thing, and I believe these questions need to be answered. Twitter, and Cancel Culture as a whole, has seemed to have forgotten the phrase "innocent until proven guilty". If you want to treat Chuggaa like a criminal, then you need to approach this like any good investigation. It needs to be proven BEYOND DOUBT that these were Chuggaa's actions, especially with the Lawly google doc.
I dunno, if Masae herself noticed his bizarre behavior being with him in person then I would probably believe it, especially when he went so far as to fly out of the country. It just seems like a trend that RUclips users in the 1 million subscriber count will do something to stir up controversy for themselves, that's why I'm hesitant on subscribing to them because you never know what's going to happen. I will say one thing though, at least Chuggaa didn't have a suspicious donation service keeping $500K to himself for almost a decade like a certain ugly bearded gamer I once knew.
Here’s kinda how I see things, based off Chugga’s apology posts I do think the feeling of unease from Masae is true, but we also do know that Chugga isn’t always the most socially aware guy likely at least in part due to his autism, now with that said I understand why Masae might view the apologies as hollow but I personally disagree as I truly don’t believe Chugga ever meant to make Masae or anyone uncomfortable, Chugga in the past has also mentioned not always being exactly the smoothest guy when it comes to girls and while I do respect Masae not wanting to talk about Chugga anymore ( so everyone reading please do NOT harass her about it as it would only make things worse ) I do hope she can find it in herself to forgive him and repair their friendship in the future as I personally enjoy their collab content.
Now as for Lady Emily, to an extent some of the things I said in regards to Masae are true as well such as the feeling of unease, however the big difference to me is that unlike Masae Lady Emily made direct accusations and cropped out very important context of her willingly accepting the gifts of shoes, of which while a bit weird for Chugga to send them to me isn’t anything to cancel over and seems to me he’s just really into shoe fashion to a point of hyper fixation, not something I would’ve guessed about him previously either in all honesty, but as you mentioned Lady Emily then made another accusation this time of Doxxing without any evidence so I have some serious questions about their motivations.
Now as for allegations of grooming and pedophilia, I have some rather serious doubts, as it seems to me like you do as well from reading your post tho please correct me if I’m wrong on that, as 1. The timing is pretty suspect 2. Like you mentioned some details seem off.
And in conclusion I ultimately see this part misunderstandings, and part suspicious motives when it comes to Lady Emily and “ Lawly “
@@Toxik431 I've always had doubts about the grooming and pedo allegations after I read fhe doc myself. Of course, I cringed reading it like everyone else did, but it seemed like to me that Chuggaa wasn't talking with "Lawly" for those reasons. What I dislike about it is that people keep saying "Oh, Lawly was 15 so they shouldn't be held accountable for what they said as they couldn't consent." Like seriously? "Lawly" was making their RP NSFW yet Chuggaa was the only one at fault as he didn't stop talking to them when Lawly said they were 15?
As for Masae, I can agree there. She can feel uneased by his actions, but what rubbed me wrong was how she went about it. Sure, if Chuggaa was being exposed as a proper creep I could accept it, but when Lady Emily was proven to be withholding context to fit an narrative, it kind of calls into question her claims. She really should've given examples of how/when Chuggaa made her feel uncomfortable instead of allowing everyone to start speculating. I understand her not wanting to talk about it further, but if you drop allegations like that, people will demand the receipts.
Out of all of them though, I agree that Lady Emily and "Lawly", to me, are the most questionable.

This is a really well-put summary of events so far. But I'd just like to say that people have learned nothing after the Projared situation. Him being a victim of cancel culture and coming forth with evidence to prove he was innocent. Guess the majority of people still abide to the whole "guilty until proven innocent" mindset.

As much as I hope you come back to making videos someday, what matters is that you only do it because you WANT to, so don't stress out about it! Just take your time, live life, and if the drive to make content returns naturally in time, we'll all welcome you back with open arms. If not, then as long as you're happy doing something else, that's all that matters. You sure don't owe us anything, you've already given us so many years of your life and we can't thank you enough for it. I do want to edit this in the future. I just saw the newere post from other people and community members and while I still do think the Emily case is sketch, the behavior from him was destructive and its completely fair why those around him don't want to associate with him. I do support him stilll because I do wish he can change as a person and be a better person.

I think today will be the last day I review Pokemon so I’m going to review my personal favorite, Darkrai! Darkrai is a mono dark type mythical Pokemon with high speed and special attack making it an excellent sweeper. It’s signature move, dark void, puts the enemy to sleep where its ability bad dreams drains the enemy’s hp by 1/8 for every turn it is asleep. Though it only has 50% accuracy. My favorite depiction of Darkrai in the series is from the movie The Rise of Darkrai where at first Darkrai seems like the villain but is shown to be misunderstood.
Lastly, Emile if you ever come back we will be here for you. Godspeed.
