Actually the M26 inspiried the ZB on which the Bren is based so in effect it is the Brens grandad. They were built in France from 1926 and remained in service until the 1950's. Some were used as captured guns by German forces. Each lpg unit I build is specific to the gun/replica and I do not sell kits. I convert replicas to be gas firing as it is not possible to use deactivated guns with the exception of the M26 and the Bren as a unit can be mounted in them without it altering the deactivation.
Hi. Thank you for your videos. It's been suggested that a simulator such as this was used to create an illusion of semi-automatic gunfire at the Route 91 concert in Las Vegas Nevada in America. In some videos recorded by those in attendance the gunfire sounds irregular and rate of fire starts to slow down towards the end of few of the volleys. With your expertise in building and adjusting LPG gunfire simulators would you be able to identify the use of one? If so, will you please watch a few of the cellphone videos from the shooting and explain why it either IS or IS NOT identifiable as a LPG simulator? Thank you kindly.
Have a look at the Garand video which is a semi auto as per the original. you can make a gun using air but the volumes required are much greater and mor difficult to do in a small gun. You would have trouble getting it to work except possibly in a tank gun.
A couple questions. Do you have any how to videos on how to make a single fire semi auto firing gun, & can you use an air compressor or dose it have to be pure oxygen?

Paul Baker no, well before the Bren 1924 to 1929 built by the french...excellent gun. This was built as a pist WW1 project to update french arsenal, starting with a new bullet, this wasc the first gun developed.

wtacsmg Is the UK standard related to The Demilling of the Gun or How lowed the Gun can be?
If you built it yourself you should know that air would never work. It needs to be oxygen.

The MG42 is easier to do. sound is about 120 decabels
