Y'know, as bad as it was for her to lie to the family like that, I gotta commend Kristen for what she did at the end. She didn't have to expose Nikki after what she told her. It wasn't any of her business. She could've just gone home with her mom and forget the whole thing. But she MADE IT her business and she took the time to go back, expose Nikki's crime, and provide closure on Heather's disappearance before she left. Edit: Thinking about it now, her father lied to her about her mother for years. She probably thought about Nikki and her mom lying to the rest of their family, saw it as the same thing she went through, and felt like she couldn't just leave, knowing someone else was going through what she did.
@VGJoker well the family understood WHY she had to lie. Her own biological father kidnapped, chained her up and r4ped her for so many years and had the gall to tell her that her mom died, destroying any hope she had left. As for Nikki, she was a junkie plain and simple. Honestly if I were the eldest sister I would've let her jump for what she did - murdering her sister so she could keep getting high is outright unforgivable. What Kirsten did given her circumstances was forgivable to a degree, if her lie stuck longer then her father wouldn't have been able to get to her.
“I couldn’t lose two daughters…” Yeah, well you lost the rest of the family by letting them hold on to false hope that she was still alive for the last 4 years!
