  • In this video, I demonstrate a Myoskeletal Alignment Technique for belly bloat and stomach pain from gas accumulation that hasn't been released.
    By asking my client to lay on their left side, I am able to get at the descending colon with my hands. Leaning my hip on the clients back gives me the leverage to pull the belly up with my hands as I move my body up and over.
    While you want to do this technique on both sides, you really want to pay attention to the left side where the descending colon lives because that's the spot that gets most stuck and needs release - it is also where most colon cancers manifest, in the descending colon.
    Start slow and steady and from the top then gently move in further into the belly with your fingertips. Be sure to use your bodyweight.
