inflight Video wow that was the longest vid id watched on youtube. thanks or the up load u ever go out of detroit? n was this flight longer then expected? hope to see more inflight vids.
So, I may be a nerd for saying this, but I played this video before I went to bed. I plugged in my headphones and fell asleep while listening to this. I woke up just in time for the landing too lol!! Aircraft and flying is my life, and nothing is more soothing to the ears than the sounds of those aircraft engines and the airflow passing over the fuselage :)
After watching this video for months trying to build up and get over my fear I finally flew from London to New York the other week and just got back Wednesday. My fear is not cured but this did really help. Thank you
I have great anxiety about flying, and watching these videos really helps! To see how mundane and banal these routines are, takeoff, cruising, landing, nothing extraordinary going on as far as the aircraft is concerned. They are so well built and they do their job magnificently.
Thank you for your comment, I'm glad the videos help with your flying anxiety. Yep 99% of flights are just like this one, and it helps me to know that the crew and aircraft are flying these same routes day in, day out without issue!
I feel exactly the same, these videos help soothe my anxiety. I’m hoping to be able to take a short flight from London to Dublin next year, and build from there.
I'm flying from Edinburgh to Florida, first time on a plane really. Feb 28th/March 1st. I flew to Dublin when I was 10yrs old and I honestly found the flight very pedestrian. It was like a bus. But yeah, flying to London first. Then to Florida. Alone. I don't care though. I mean, you're 23000 feet high crossing the Atlantic but then we're also on a rock in space free falling through oblivion.
@@Willzyx88 Yeah, I took my first flight in March as well and the routine of it all took me by surprise. Newcastle to Heathrow and then on to New York so I got short and long haul in. Takeoffs and and landings are the only real moments of excitement and then you're sitting for 7 hours trying to decide how best to spend your time on what's basically a sky train.
+inflight Video Loving the videos! Definitely post more long haul flights. Would be interesting to see one from London Gatwick to Jamaica or Barbados. 😊
1 like is not enough for this.. my man, the dedication you gave to this video is beyond anything i've seen.. all the moments in the description, all the extra parts individually in video-in-video view like the flight attendants emergency briefing thingy, the food part, and the whoooooole full trip to the other side of the planet.. All of my love and support for you my bro !!!!!

+inflight Video I watch this and got to thinking - why do they not record all flights like this and stream to the black box, in case of disaster, useful evidence would be preserved. i.e cctv of the passengers. Also prevent unruly behavior if all passengers are recorded.
I use these videos as a background for work - Watch the takeoff in the beginning of the day- work - watch the landing and go home. And some nice ambient/white noise for optimal concentration. Love it.

Simply your vid. here is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I watched the entire take-off until to reach the atlantic-coast and the entire approach and final descent into JFK. To be honest I have shorten to watched your movie for me while you was over the north-atlantic. But really, really five stors ffrom me for this big experiment. When those engines start-up you can really feel the torque and power those two have.
GE90s are incredible. I wish more aircraft had them, but then they may not be quite as special!
+inflight Video i agree the engines also sounded great
Matthew Graham
Jet engines aren't measured in power or torque. They're measured in pounds of thrust.
