Don't worry. The x100v is still fantastic. I sold mine when I switched to Leica, but the x100v is the only camera I regret selling. Also have a GRIII in my pocket all the time when I go out. That camera is not going anywhere, Leica or not. Btw you are shooting all the locations I do. Copenhagen is tiny ;) Reffen is my favorite though....
Same reasons that I did not upgrade to the X100V and still won’t be upgrading to the X100VI. I got my X100F new in 2017 and have not seen a need to upgrade it. Nice quick overview!
I really enjoyed your video presentation on why you don’t feel the need to upgrade to the Fujifilm X100 VI. I also hope you would consider doing a video teaching how to zone focus with the X100 series camera.
Lovely video, thanks for giving us real and down to earth informations, my choice is made. I was a Sony professional, now it’s time for Fuji to be my Main Street photography camera, thank youuu
I won’t be upgrading my X100V because I’ve only had it since May last year (so a few months less than a year). If I upgrade my X100V later this year or next year it will be for an XT5, but I will still be keeping my X100V because it’s still a brilliant camera and there isn’t a huge difference between the X100V and X100VI. Making the the X100V still a very current camera 👈🏼
I have such a love hate relationship with my x100v, I've had it since 2021. If Canon release a similar model, as they are rumored to soon, it'll be the upgrade and certainly not the x100vi unfortunately. The shooting experience of the x100v is so nice, a lovely form with physical exposure triangle controls and such superb quality raws and jpgs. HOWEVER, the menu system is just tragic and the app is even worse, it's slow and clunky, so it's a complete ordeal to try and share images or use any assisted/timer live shooting features. So although it's a nice camera, I've hated the software experience around it, even just turning on/off the flash is a laughable workflow, let alone trying to turn on wifi and share images to your phone. I'm a big desktop lightroom user, from other cameras I shoot with, so because of that I make do and the quality is amazing from the fuji shots, but given this is a small/light/quick/travel/lifestyle camera for social photography, it's always infuriated me that it falls so short at actually being good at sharing images. It's arguably easier to get a roll of film developed, scanned and delivered to your email by a shop than to get a photo from the LCD to your phone via the fuji app.
The Fuji x100v is by no means a perfect camera. Does it deserve all the hype.. perhaps. I found myself in similar situation with the love / hate relationship. Until I found a way to use this camera to the best of its ability and nothing more. And for that purpose I’m quite happy with it 📸
Sent my x100vi back this morning, sticking with the x100v :) (and xt5 when I really need ibis/40mp)
Oh wow 👌🏽📸

Oh cool. Copenhagen is not that big. I haven’t been to Reffen in a long while. Maybe worth a photo walk 📸👌🏽

Thank you 🙏🏽 totally agree no need to upgrade if it works perfectly.

Thank you I really appreciate it 🙏🏽 I’ll definitely put it on the list :)

Thanks 🙏🏽 hope you enjoy your new setup. I love my little Fuji for Street photography 📸

Exactly my thinking too. The new cam is more of a x100v mII than a VI
The IBS really has me considering upgrading from the 5. I dont really care about the other new feats.
So many decisions :)
I had the same with the extra mp - which I really don’t need but could be nice to have 📸
I'm still shooting 16mp.... dunno what I'd do with 40😏😁
😅😅😅
Lovely channel

Are you on Instagram?
Sure am. Same handle ☺️
Its beautiful camera but it wasnt for me, mainly for tactile reason, i wanted it to be like my leica m6 i started my street photography.
Perfectly reasonable. Also the m6 is in a league of its own :)
