I envy the variety of the automotive fauna you have in America. Here in Europe, and Norway especially, it’s only crap EV’s on the roads and showrooms now. It’s depressing. Still I have 4 petrol and one diesel in my driveway.
Spot on with the wish list. I'd say even a mild hybrid, with an electeic assist motor to add power. And the lift for this X-Pro could benefit from an extra inch of ground clearance. And, for the love of whichever deity is trendy as of today; PLEEEEASE use **amber signal lights on the back** as well!! These used to be mandatory in the US and at some point car manufacturers lobbied to do away with that -- the entire planet agrees on safety concerns and the benefits of amber lights on the back, and the US falls behind again.
Look man. 3 row suvs aren’t just for hauling kids. My wife and I (no kids) are looking at this for just the two of us because of all the space when seats are folded. These things make for a good road trip/camping vehicle. My single friend has one because she has 3 big dogs. She’s also a cyclist and can put her bike and gear in the back.
How much did you get paid by Kia? I don't know how many Kia's I've blown away in the real world with my Subie...off road. I don't know where this guy is from but I live out west where we have 2 feet of snow in the winter and ice storms in between. You know where I see Kia's at during those times...on the driveways. Subaru Ascent, for example, has turbo. Which means off the shelf tuning can drop extra 50-60 hp on 97. Kia...can't do any plug-and-play power gains...at all.
But isn't the fact that it IS unibody what makes it a SUV? Body on frame - truck. Similair but unibody - SUV. Lifted normal car or char that shares body/platform with nornal car - crossover.
It’s still a Kia dude. Seriously. They are horrible. My wife’s Hyundai fell apart after a year. Little shit. The door handle, the steering wheel, the latch in the back... never had those problems with any Subaru I owned. Edit: There is a reason Japanese Fender guitars are nearly $2k and Korean guitars are a quarter of the price 🧠
Really happy to see that Kia is still keeping physical HVAC controls.
Nor the only one, frankly. See 2023 Mazda CX-60 and 2023 Honda Pilot.
For going off road there is no way I would take this over a Subaru but for most people I think this would probably do everything they need.
I enjoyed this episode of Motoman on National Geographic 😂

Move to America mate. I assume you are getting reamed with car taxes like we do in Australia too
Have you been to the Porsche dealer in Gardermoen? Nice shop.
Plugin hybrid for this platform is a no brainer. It's the one thing keeping me from buying it for our three row right now
It appears to be a very popular vehicle.
To bad the same cannot be said for there dealerships.
How would you compare this to the 2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport?
That will be the big comparison question going forward
Trailsport more off road capable than X pro and better awd system. Plus Recovery points, trail cam, skid plates.
PHEV Telluride will be amazing with 50-100 ev mile range!
My 2023 Kia Sportage has the SmartStream engine. I’m optimistic this engine will be highly successful and reliable with no carbon buildup.

Seems like you have a similar lifestyle as my wife and I. We just purchased a 2024 SX-Xpro in wolf grey and it’s awesome!
Throw in the stingers TT V6
Right. Try to buy this vehicle without paying $10k OVER sticker….plus plus.
That will change. Shortly.
In Canada, it's hard to buy with markup since there are no markup
why someone wouldnt just buy a base AWD and add AT tires themselves is beyond me. Save so much money.
If you see what honda pilot trailsport can do this is not even close
They need a hybrid! I'd have bought one instead of waiting for grand highlander

Nice car, but motto man believes that you should have a million in the bank before you should buy a car.
Correction: Million dollar *net worth* before you should buy a NEW car.
I see Motoman is channeling his inner Crocodile Hunter today. Excellent work, M.
Have something coming up soon that is right up your alley . . .

For $55 thousand should you get a Jeep Grand Cherokee
you forgot number 5. Build engines that don't go into meltdown😁
Put the 4 cylinder in this from the Genesis…lighter and better EPA numbers.
No offense, but as a reviewer, he should discuss how unreliable these are.
It is a 2023 model year, they haven't stood any test of time to prove their reliability or lack thereof.
🎉😮
The South Koreans marked their place by following the Japanese formula:
If you get reliability and price right🤑 Americans will buy it. 👌
They built on the Japanese formula by stealing designers from European and American OEMs in order to make their designs stand out.
@@MotoManTV Alright, that too! 😆😁👍
