You may try to play half barre chords ( barring 2 or 3 strings) on higher frets (for example 7th fret) which have lower tension. Then increase to barring 4 strings, 5 strings and eventually 6th strings. After that, practise the full barre chord from 6th fret, 5th fret..... finally to 1st fret, which is the full-barre F chord.
Artificial harmonics for Jingle Bells: (Bar 1) 1st string 1st fret: Press left-hand 1st finger on 1st string 1st fret. Then, touch 1st string 12th fret higher than the written fret (12+1=13th fret) lightly using right-hand index finger (i). Pluck the string with right-hand little finger (c) or ring finger (a). Let the sound rings.
