Check this out I am a huge sec fan and I live in knoxville and used to live in Baton Rouge so both my teams were playing important sec games last night and i watched the entire Oregon vs Ohio State game instead. It feels like everytime i watch my teams they do bad and its my fault for watching so by default I landed on this game and it was fn amazing. It was a rollercoaster of emotions with tons of excitement and i had no skin in the game so I didnt care who was going to win. Big 10 brought it. I wont talk shit on OSU or Oregon ever again. As someone who was just at the game in the student section that game was insane. We did not see the replay of what should have been an interception or the spitting in the face. Ohio fans traveled in droves. Never seen that many away fans at Autzen ever. Never seen so many people at Autzen or it be that loud. On the last drive for Ohio the crowd hit 125 decibels in noise

Great game from both teams tonight. As an OSU fan, it stings to lose the way we did but it was a boxing match, punch for punch, unfortunately one of us had to lose, shame it had to be us. Would have much rather lose on a Missed FG rather than time running out, but it is what it is. And yes, that was a clear Oregon pick at the start but you do with what you are given. These two looked like the best teams in the country. We need to acknowledge Autzen Stadium as one of the craziest college atmospheres too. That place was bumping. Ohio State had like 4 false starts ( at least) and their stadium much bigger. Autzen has a weirdly, shocking-ly loud stadium.
The architecture is fantastic. It holds the noise in perfectly and makes the crowd seem twice the size. Oregon and OSU are the class of the B1G right now.
Duck fan for 30 years. The stadium was originally constructed in 1967 with the field surface BELOW ground level. ALL the noise stays INSIDE and bounces off the sides. Unlike above ground stadiums. Its really weird because the noise is not that bad outside the stadium. Its like playing in a rabbit hole. I played there (high school state playoffs) in the late 90s. It was loud with only 7000 fans, let alone 60,000. LOL.

To oregon fans, ive been watching your team closely the entire offseason and first stretch of this season and was impressed the whole way. It was incredible to watch the whole oregon playbook come alive tonight. But as an ohio state fan first and foremost this loss stings, not just losing but HOW we lost. We were in field goal range! Just use one of your two elite tailbacks or better yet use some confusing QB sneak if you're scared of getting the ball ripped out. Ive been critical of jayden fielding in the past but he's comfortable at the range he was at before we tried to get greedy and ate a (debatable) OPI for our troubles. Our special teams aren't flashy like Oregon's, but that is something we should have been capable of. Ryan hired his old mentor to be OC so he could manage the game, and he made a boneheaded decision tn. Everyone has an off week to mull it over, and hopefully come back a better buckeye team. We got off very lucky, but were without power until Saturday morning. Prior to my move down south, I lived in Oregon my entire life. Being able to watch this game Saturday night was truly wonderful as I wasn’t sure we were going to be able to.

I still thought the refs would have replayed that before letting the game end. but I guess they need convincing evidence that he was down before the buzzer rang and they decided they didn't have it.
lightning may be right. but in a lot of sports games especially at the END OF THE GAME they will review the tape to make sure it was done right. is it NBA that only does that? or college basketball? it's quite common (I just can't tell you in exactly what sport). now do the rules of that league say they have to do that.....or is it just something they do? As someone who was just at the game in the student section that game was insane. We did not see the replay of what should have been an interception or the spitting in the face. Ohio fans traveled in droves. Never seen that many away fans at Autzen ever. Never seen so many people at Autzen or it be that loud. On the last drive for Ohio the crowd hit 125 decibels in noise

Great game from both teams tonight. As an OSU fan, it stings to lose the way we did but it was a boxing match, punch for punch, unfortunately one of us had to lose, shame it had to be us. Would have much rather lose on a Missed FG rather than time running out, but it is what it is. And yes, that was a clear Oregon pick at the start but you do with what you are given. I was very entertained throughout and absolutely on the edge of my seat (also, Oregons Uni's always go stupid hard). We need to acknowledge Autzen Stadium as one of the craziest college atmospheres too. That place was bumping. Ohio State had like 4 false starts ( at least) and their stadium much bigger. Autzen has a weirdly, shocking-ly loud stadium.

Oregon has had the best home field advantage in football since the early 2010’s in my opinion.

Duck fan for 30 years. The stadium was originally constructed in 1967 with the field surface BELOW ground level. ALL the noise stays INSIDE and bounces off the sides. Unlike above ground stadiums. Its really weird because the noise is not that bad outside the stadium. Its like playing in a rabbit hole. I played there (high school state playoffs) in the late 90s. It was loud with only 7000 fans, let alone 60,000. LOL.

To oregon fans, ive been watching your team closely the entire offseason and first stretch of this season and was impressed the whole way. It was incredible to watch the whole oregon playbook come alive tonight.
But as an ohio state fan first and foremost this loss stings, not just losing but HOW we lost. We were in field goal range! Just use one of your two elite tailbacks or better yet use some confusing QB sneak if you're scared of getting the ball ripped out. Ive been critical of jayden fielding in the past but he's comfortable at the range he was at before we tried to get greedy and ate a (debatable) OPI for our troubles. Our special teams aren't flashy like Oregon's, but that is something we should have been capable of.
Ryan hired his old mentor to be OC so he could manage the game, and he made a boneheaded decision tn. Everyone has an off week to mull it over, and hopefully come back a better buckeye team. Today, tomorrow, and always, go buckeyes.

I still thought the refs would have replayed that before letting the game end. but I guess they need convincing evidence that he was down before the buzzer rang and they decided they didn't have it.
