As a Telugu guy, I am proud to say everyone has put their heart out. For me, as Shan said, the hero would be Amitabh ji rather than Prabhas. It has an outstanding second half and a forgettable first half. Trust me, I slept in the first half! Second half visuals made this movie an outstanding attempt by an Indian team. Kudos to Nag Ashwin! Music is outstanding too..
Watched the movie yesterday. First half with Prabhas's unnecessarily extended fight scenes, his jokes, the whole Utopian sequence are gonna make you question the whole movie but the moment Amitji showed up and Deepika walks through fire, it grips you. Hang in there for the last 40 minutes.
Kalki makers should keep the serious tone without any unnecessary jokes.if they somehow make this movie more serious without unnecessary elements like crimge dialog,songs etx then it definitely gonna look better Or else its gonna be like thor
Its baffling how this Hindi dub got approved. They haven't even distributed the original Telugu version in most parts of India. Really makes you appreciate Rajamouli's pan-world appeal.

First half had incredible potential of world building. Loved the scenes with curious kid and those of Deepika's character. Wished the screenplay had spent more time on Deepika's character to flesh her out, make us as the audience root for her character. And yes, the Prabhas intro scene dragged for way too long. The Disha Patni scene was necessary though, to introduce to the complex and the for better world building.

All of the cameos are what made this movie 100 times better and Mr Bachchan has the best screen presence. Prabhas has the most lukewarm intro fight section.
See Mr first half is completely world building , and this is not a single shot movie it is making with different parts so it is need to make everyone to introduce to the world
My only problem with the movie was the overglorification of karna...the chariot scene shown in the end has no mention in any Mahabharata manuscript. Its only folklore..it made arjun look arrogant and karna like the ultimate hero..but in reality Krishna never spoke such words for karna...you can read gitapress authentic Mahabharata.i am not lying.

Mahabharat scenes were so fckn powerful and amazing that I was hoping Nag Ashwin makes a whole standalone movie on Mahabharat. He captured the essence of war of Kurukshetra quite perfectly. Vo scenes literal goosebumps de rahe the especially the last scene of Arjun vs Karn where Shri Krishna humbled Arjun(although that whole chariot event doesn't even exist in the Mahabharat). The only problem I had with Mahabharat scenes in the movie was the glorification of Karn when actually in Mahabharat he was a very insecure, evil and arrogant character and not a hero or a morally good character who should be glorified or idolised. I loved their artistic choice how they didn't show Shri Krishna's face indrectly conveying the message that Lord Krishna is so divine that a mere human cannot play him ❤️🔥👏🏼
Just watched this movie.... I was so excited about it .. i absolutely agree with shaan's review 1st half of the movie can test your patience... But the 2nd half is worth having that patient... All the scene of amit sir were amezing and makes u feel the characters emotions ... While busy with my job as a software engineer, I decided to check the review of a movie I plan to watch today. As I was listening to the review, Shantanu’s expression of anger with the phrase ‘dododo dididi’ made me chuckle uncontrollably.
I agree with him and I also feel like makers has done the same mistake what makers of RA.One has done. But RA.One is an excuse because it came almost 14 years ago, whereas kalki makers just made it aweful even after having all advancement in these days

I watched movie the commedy was very good in telugu zero cringe. Maybe hindi version dubbing was bad so there feel cringe. And comedy making by prabhas only can understand by telugu people or people who watched prabhas movies before bahubali will enjoy comedy
Shambala is said to be a world which a normal human eyes cannot see, somewhat like chakra. So maybe they thought to make a place hidden with force field in the movie.

Its 3.5 star and all because of Nag Ashwin's Vision... Actors acting especially Prabhas, Amitabh Sir and Kamal Sir.... and Visuals... The screenplay is like Brahmastra... When its good its great... but when its flat its just flat... Good is first 10 min... around 10 min of interval and climax... For Tv audience Kalki is just another one but with high budget. After Shaktimaan there is a series of shows based on Indian culture & mythology in Tv. Yes many time it gone wrong due to low budget, popularity. But atleast they tried.

I have no idea what you're saying but I enjoyed the film immensely. The MCU doesn't even come close. Several cameo appearances add to the fun. Featuring Shambhala was great since it occurs in ancient prophecies from several traditions.
i also feel same, i almost slept in first half so was my friend. it was a slog fest. but only mythological references and mahabharat etc and full second half was entertaining and gripping.

The movie is historically inaccurate....ashwathama had so much hatred for karna, he had so many disputes with him throuhout mahabharata a huge quarrel before VIrata yudh and on one occasion ashwathama even ran behind karna to behead him for cussing at his uncle kripacharya , really disappointed by the creative liberty taken by nag ashwin , you may write the future s you feel like but must not change the history....the point when ashwathama in the movie says "mera mitra tha vo ..."I did a facepalm and almost puked when he said that karna was powerful than arjun. Arjun defeated karna more than thrice throughout Jay Sahinta and the scene where karna protects ashwathama from arjun was so inaccurate....its clearly mentioned that ashwathama saved karna from arjun on various occasions both in Virat yudh and Mahabharata.the scene where arjun says"we got pushed back only 2 steps " and lord krishna's dialogue after that is a bullshit story created by Whatsapp University. Arjun who saw true form of God on the first day of War and realized that he's not the doer would never say see how far back I pushed karna.

Did anyone noticed during the animation of ashathama mani animation in the beginning after the war there is a animation of cruelty post Mahabharat like nazi German or hints of Delhi nirbhayaa case or the Gujarat riots 2003 or can be Bombay riots 1992???
Let's me share a bitter truth 90% people watching this review hadn't even watched the movie yet and some asshead will rant whatever they heard in this review to anyone they meet
Isn't that true for every movie though. People easily get influenced by the opinion of others. But even then haters are gonna hate and d*ckriders are gonna ride. You are realizing this now only because Prabhas is there in this movie.

While busy with my job as a software engineer, I decided to check the review of a movie I plan to watch today. As I was listening to the review, Shantanu’s expression of anger with the phrase ‘dododo dididi’ made me chuckle uncontrollably.
I agree with him and I also feel like makers has done the same mistake what makers of RA.One has done. But RA.One is an excuse because it came almost 14 years ago, whereas kalki makers just made it aweful even after having all advancement in these days

I mean I already guessed that if movie is getting positive reviews, many reviewers will give accolades to amitabh sir and kamal sir. But imagine if movie didn't get positive reviews. Everybody would've targeted prabhas personally. I already thought that if this movie is doing well, these guys who said that it's another ganpath, is going to smartly divert its audience to amitabh sir greatness.
I also mean that after trailers atleast, Did you seriously think that it's another ganpath. He kullam kulla said that it's going to be another ganpath. That shows most of it. He is a smart reviewer. Rest, I'm not huge prabhas fan but m fan of the movie. When he said that it's going to be another ganpath, that's where I've lost it.

WTF dude u missed the pre interval scene of dipika going through fire flames. That was epic. Nag Ashwin brilliantly taken inspiration from Krishna Birth. Because he is Kalki dipika could walk through fire. That's the magic of Avatar. Kindly edit your video and talk about that too
Its 3.5 star and all because of Nag Ashwin's Vision... Actors acting especially Prabhas, Amitabh Sir and Kamal Sir.... and Visuals... The screenplay is like Brahmastra... When its good its great... but when its flat its just flat... Good is first 10 min... around 10 min of interval and climax... These first attempts by Indian Directors must be appreciated by the audience... and Over react nhi... but i think we got our DC and Marvel as Astraverse and Kalki Universe... ❤❤❤ Haan i guess what Shan said is also important... i think those cringy humor was mostly because of dub because telugu audiences are not having any trouble with it... so i think its mostly a dub problem...

The movie is historically inaccurate....ashwathama had so much hatred for karna, he had so many disputes with him throuhout mahabharata
a huge quarrel before VIrata yudh and on one occasion ashwathama even ran behind karna to behead him for cussing at his uncle kripacharya , really disappointed by the creative liberty taken by nag ashwin , you may write the future s you feel like but must not change the history....the point when ashwathama in the movie says "mera mitra tha vo ..."I did a facepalm and almost puked when he said that karna was powerful than arjun. Arjun defeated karna more than thrice throughout Jay Sahinta and the scene where karna protects ashwathama from arjun was so inaccurate....its clearly mentioned that ashwathama saved karna from arjun on various occasions both in Virat yudh and Mahabharata.the scene where arjun says"we got pushed back only 2 steps " and lord krishna's dialogue after that is a bullshit story created by Whatsapp University. Arjun who saw true form of God on the first day of War and realized that he's not the doer would never say see how far back I pushed karna.
