Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊 on your 4 year anniversary! Love seeing your finishes and progress on your wips! Thank you for everything the both of you do! Here to another year. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
I began watching flosstube in 2020. Big surprise there. I watched many when I started but have narrowed my watching down to less than six. I have watched you from the beginning and will continue to do so. You never let me down, beautiful stitching, happy life and delightful couple. Congratulations on the four years. ❤️.
Thank you! I'm both delighted and honored that you enjoy our videos enough to have kept us in your small watching rotation. Glad to have you with us on our journey!
Congrats on four years of flosstube. Enjoyed Gary's story of the GI figure and the code that was used. Would enjoy more of these storyline. Your fancy lady is beautiful and love seeing the progress. Looking forward to the next one.
Congrats on four years of Flosstube! Loved seeing your beautiful stitchy updates, and the FFOs you showed this time were especially lovely. Gary, please share more history lessons with us! I didn't realize GI Joe made Code Talker dolls - how cool. Happy stitching to both of you 💜
It’s so great that you share your work with smiles and laughter. Sharing action figures is also great. The two of you are so sweet. Thank for being you.
I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you and Gary! I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos and following along with what you two are stitching...you tend to be an enabler if you weren't already aware...lol. Congratulations on 4 years and cheers to many, many more!
Thank you so much! We love getting to meet the people on the other side of the screen too. And I'm glad I can enable a bit. Hopefully not too much, though! ;)
Wow! Four years of Amy and Gary. How great is that? It was lovely to wake up to an episode this Saturday. My weekend must be spent writing a eulogy, so wish me luck 😶. Our grand fur baby arrived last night, and promptly left a massive deposit on my bedroom floor 😂😂. I haven't made any bags this year, although I have some cut out. Your bags are beautiful, and I treasure the one you gave me. It has my Charlotte Warrington kit in it. Sending much love to you all, here's to another 4 years ❤❤
I’m sorry you have to write a eulogy. I hope it all goes smoothly and you get the right blend of humor and sentiment. That grand fur baby sounds like a real monkey pants. He’s lucky he’s adorable. I tell Summer at least once a day that she’s lucky she’s so cute and soft and cuddly. If she weren’t, I’d have to toss her out on her ear. 🤣 Thanks for hanging in there with us the last few years. It’s been lovely to feel we’ve found a real friend. ❤️
Hi Amy - Gary Love all of your Projects. They are so pretty. Gary - I use to watch Wonder Woman all of the time on TV when it was on. I miss those shows back in the 60’s and the 70’s. They were the best. Gary - Thank you for your Service. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵✂️🐾🐶🐾☀️🦋❤️
How can people not like you😮. You guys are so much fun to watch. Gary is a riot I enjoy watching him describing what he’s stitching on. I look forward to your videos. Congrats on your 4 years anniversary to many more!
Hi, Amy and Gary! I love your Flosstube!! And I loved the history bit about the Navajo code talker! Keep up the great videos, I always watch immediately when a new one comes out!!!
Thank you! 😊 I hope you'll forgive me for this, but "it's a long way to Tipperary..." Hahaha! I'm sure you get tired of everyone thinking they're being original with that little joke. I've not had the chance to visit Ireland yet, but it's on my list.
I love your diversity in your projects and enjoy every video you two put out there - even if I'm behind watching them due to busy life. Greetings from Germany.
Congrats on your flosstube anniversary! Love catching up with you both each time and seeing your amazing projects. We loved Windtalker - the movie regards the Navaho Code Talkers. Our granddaughter Charlee just had her first birthday. Her favourite person in the whole world is their puppy Banjo - Australian Kelpie. She loves sharing her dummies with him and he chews them to pieces - mum and dad keep replacing them.....lols
I don't think we've seen Windtalker. Will have to find which streaming service it's on. I love that your granddaughter is growing up with a puppy friend! My first memory is the day we adopted a poodle puppy, and he was with us into my high school years. I think kids who grow up with dogs learn so much from it and get to enjoy a really special relationship.
Congratulations on four years, always fun videos. I love you both but Gary is a sweetheart! My boys had GI Joes, youngest one retired as Captain from the Navy🇺🇸. Yes I’m old enough to be your grandmother and love cross stitch! Hugs
I’m a little late to the episode, but I enjoyed seeing your finishes and progress, Amy. And Gary’s Wonder Woman is coming to life. I loved Gary’s Memorial Day GI Joes, especially his nod to the Navajo Code Talkers. Congratulations on 4 years and I’m looking forward to 4 more! Best wishes from Tucson, AZ🌵

Thanks, Carol! Your RSN programs must be really keeping you busy if you need to track dates for homework! What a fun opportunity! So much for a restful retirement. :)
Hi Laurent! I just love it when we connect with male viewers! It's been nice to see more men trying (and liking) cross stitch in recent years, and I'm so glad this community has embraced people across the gender spectrum. Thanks for watching and saying hello!
Thank you for sharing videos for me so long. You are a lot of work and Gary does such a good job and I enjoy the time I spent watching. My son has a new great daine, and they only let him have it because he has had one before. The dog ate their new leather sofa set it was a little frustrating for him, but that is the bread of the dog. I hope you continue for many more years.
Oh my! Great Danes are such majestic dogs, though they can be very challenging for those without experience. I hope your son's new pup settles in and learns the ropes quickly. I would be pretty frustrated about damage to a new leather sofa too. :)
You and Rose really helped make our StitchCon experience a good one. We appreciated how welcome you made us feel even though we were at the table "next door". :)
@globetrottingstitcher stitchcon where neighbors become family. Lol. That was my first stitchcon, as well, so I'm so glad we all had such a good time. Love your videos with stitching and pup-dates.
Congratulations on 4 years of floss tube! Amy your stitching is beautiful and I enjoy seeing your lovely work. Tell Gary I enjoyed the history lesson and I thank him for his service to our country.
Congratulations on 4 years! I have been watching since the beginning and it has been a joy. Amy your stitching is always beautiful. I remember when you stitched Berries and Robins, so it is nice to see them framed. Gary, you are doing great with your stitching, but I loved hearing about your action figures. Thank you for your service! You are such a lovely couple.💖
Happy anniversary!! As you know I’ve loved you from the beginning. Time flies!! Go Gary go! Ww is looking good!! And I look forward to more history moments from Gary! Your projects continue to amazing Amy!! Hey I had a vision of you amassing a grouping of all your pretty ladies on a blank wall wall in a guest room. Floor to ceiling. Think it would be incredible! Darn now I must stop stitching on my Americana Blue and go be an adult!! Ugh. Take care you two and your fur babies. Glad Summer is making herself to home!
Thanks, Connie! It's funny you should mention that blank wall because we are in the process of converting Gary's son's old room (that only gets used as a bedroom a couple nights a year) into a sewing room and office for me. It's going to be a great space for me to put out some of my ladies who wouldn't fit the decor of our house. :) Hope you and all the family are well. I've been wondering how everyone is doing. Please let me know the next time you will be in the area. I would love to reconnect for a stitchy visit if you have time.
I’ll be looking for that code talker, I’ve been collecting everything code talker for a long time, my favorite is the Pentelton Navajo Blanket! Thank You Gary for your service! When I was born my Dad was in the Army Air Core, my husband was in the Navy and my son is a 20 year veteran Navy Avaition. Thank You again!
I must have missed the opportunity to raise my hand as an oversees viewer, in the previous video. American living in Japan here! Been watching you for a few years now but don’t often comment as I’ve been watching on my TV the past couple of years.
OMG!! Really? Four years. Seems like last year that I saw flosstube 1. I also found someone like Gary. I met my husband in 85 and married him in 2016. My first his second. Waited to make sure I didn't need to start over again. I always look forward to seeing your videos. ❤❤
Love this! Gary and I were together almost 4 years before we got married, and we were both a little older than most couples are for a first marriage. Same reasons as yours. Better to take the time to make sure you're marrying someone you know it's going to work with.
@@globetrottingstitcher only 4 not bad. I waited 31 years. I turned 60 a week and a half later. However I never wanted to marry due to my dysfunctional poster parents. I had friends who said that they fell in love at first sight. Yeah right not believing it until I met my husband. I didn't actually fall in love but I knew that I was going to marry him someday. I even moved to Montana with his help for 10 and a half years then moved back with his help when my mother was dying.. I still consider him my boyfriend and he calls me his girlfriend. Four years! What were we all doing four years ago? Oh yes, discovering Flosstube! You are among those I started watching then and have kept up with. Always a pleasure. hi im in New Zealand and enjoying your videos alot... quite new to "floss tube" you just popped up in my feed. so clicked to find out what your style is like. i havent got a floss tube ....yet
Well, come on in! The water's fine! The more stitchers making videos, the merrier. You should give it a go! :) We love NZ, by the way. We've got several viewers and friends there, and we had the chance to vacation there a few years ago when I was going semi-regularly for work. One of my favorite countries!
Congratulations on your 4th Anniversary! Gary, please continue with the history connections...they are interesting especially as they connect with your collection. Thank you for your service. You've both had a good bit of progress on your stitching, and they look awesome. Safe travels and I look forward to seeing you both soon!
Congrats on 4 years of floss tube. The best is yet to come for you, I am sure. I so enjoy the rapport you have with each other during the videos. Bustle pants ,,,, giggle! It reminded me of the Bridgerton series on Netflix, just finished watching it ... I love the gowns the ladies wear! Oh wow, the Butterfly pattern is so beautiful, love the colours!! Your travels, pity you don't go to Ethiopia, I am going next February for a conference, would be great to meet you somewhere in Africa :-). I was hoping our conference would be in Kenya again, as I haven't been there for about 10 years and would love to go again. Take care.
Thanks, Nicole! I've been holding off on watching the new season of Bridgerton because I know I'll be annoyed that I have to wait for the second half to be released. Just have to hang tight for a little longer and I can indulge in a binge of the whole season. :) As it happens, I do go to Ethiopia, though not as often as Kenya. I was just there in November last year for a meeting, and I'm heading back to Rwanda in September this year. We should definitely try to connect somewhere in Africa if the opportunity ever presents! My org. has an office in SA, but my program team doesn't do work there (though I have colleagues based in that office) so I've only passed through Jo-burg on my way to and from other places.
Congratulations on your 4 years. Love all your projects. Your project bag is beautiful. Gary, my hubby is a 20 year veteran, retired from the Navy. Are you both going to Stitch Con. I'll be at weekend A.
I'm sorry we didn't make it to StitchCon this year, but we hope you had a great time! I have an annual event in Africa that always falls over the dates when the waiting list opens up, so by the time I have a chance to get into the system and try, it's usually closed. Maybe next year!
I love the positive atmosphere of your videos and your projects are beautiful. I think it's cool that Gary collects action figures, I am a doll collector... It's amazing that you are going to Kenya for work, is it okay to ask what your job is? I am in Western Washington, USA 👋
Hello, neighbor! What part of Western WA are you in? We're out on the Kitsap Peninsula, though we used to live in Seattle. Love that you're a doll collector! My aunt used to collect them and still has her favorites on display. I loved looking at them during visits. She would collect dolls based on their names and had one that represented just about every girl in the family. I always thought that was really special. I work in philanthropy, specifically in agriculture development, so a lot of my work is focused on supporting governments in Africa South Asia to sustainably develop and strengthen their agriculture systems in a way that includes traditionally underserved groups like women, youth, and smallscale producers. :)
@@globetrottingstitcher That is so cool! A great and wonderful thing to be a part of! I am actually in Auburn which is SE of Seattle. (I also used to live in Seattle) I collect many types of dolls, and also Love to cross stitch. I just started on a vintage Dimensions, Cottage Garden.
@@melsmith5833 What a small world! I lived in Kent for nearly 20 years and still have family out in Covington and Black Diamond. So fun to connect to someone so close to home.
I enjoy watching your videos and all your projects. But I was wondering why Gray doesn't get any mention in you greeting? He is part of the videos as well not just the guy behind the camera.
You know, that's a great question! I read your comment to Gary, and we both realized we had never really thought about it. I think we just fell into the habit when we first started the channel because I was the only one in the videos and the only one stitching. Gary eventually started stitching and then became a regular part of the videos, but we just kept using the same greeting. We'll have to change that. Thanks for asking! :)
Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊 on your 4 year anniversary!

We should definitely try to connect somewhere in Africa if the opportunity ever presents! My org. has an office in SA, but my program team doesn't do work there (though I have colleagues based in that office) so I've only passed through Jo-burg on my way to and from other places.
@@globetrottingstitcher Sending hugs.
Ok I want to go to Kenya with you,you need someone to keep you on tract I think ??? 😂
Hahaha! No doubt I do. :)
🖤💙❤
I heard about you from The Seattle Stitcher
Awesome! Thank you!
(I also used to live in Seattle)
I collect many types of dolls, and also Love to cross stitch. I just started on a vintage Dimensions, Cottage Garden.
@@melsmith5833 What a small world! I lived in Kent for nearly 20 years and still have family out in Covington and Black Diamond. So fun to connect to someone so close to home.
@@globetrottingstitcher Wow! Who would have known...you know this area well then.
I am pleased to have made acquaintance with you 🙂
@@melsmith5833 Likewise! What a small world. 🙂
❤❤❤are y’all going to stitch con?
Hearts back atcha, girl! :)
Is your hair wet?
Nope. Just used a different product on it that. day. :)
