The reverb is set perfectly for imposing an expanse around the lyrics, implying solitude. The guitar playing is a masterful frame around this canvas. This is just such a great version of the song and hits me so emotionally hard. If I were asked to rate it from zero to one hundred, I would give it all three digits. The century. Perfect.

@Sunny Deise - it's talking about Xmas trees that are grown specifically to be cut down. So, more are planted and grown each year, and, as young trees grow faster and absorb more CO2 than old trees that's good for the environment (although I prefer to by one with roots and keep it).
