I am currently build a use case on either learning Unity or Unreal for virtual production. Anyone have any idea which software I should invest my time?
Unreal seems to be more widely used, at least at major studios. Epic Games also seems to be leaning hard into virtual production in terms of business, so I don't think you can go wrong with Unreal
Hey folks, what would you think about having a ‘WeWork’ of the virtual production ? Which basically means a space where anyone who wants to test content/games or anything related to virtual production can pop in and test their work? The space would be fully equipped with LED WALLS and all material for Virtual production at an AFFFORDABLE price.
@@Man_on_Rock I'm a compositor and virtual production will kill the vast majority of my work. Awesome technology but at the cost of how many jobs? So many production jobs will no longer be needed also. Interesting and worrying times for jobs imo.
I used to work for ROE before covid as a repair tech, it's amazing seeing all of the different avenues taken with this technology!
Nice work and thanks for taking the time to share this technology. It is truly amazing as to what is going on in virtual production.
This is phenomenal!!
Wow, amazing tech.
Seems strange that you didn't just go to St. Govan's....plenty of fresh air there!!
this is a very impormative video keep on sharing sir
How do you deal with image frequency in terms of camera settings? Does it may cause banding image artifacts or moire if not set up correctly??
how does the chroma key handles motion blurs..?

Alot of jobs are going to be gone in post production over the next few years.
those will just transfer over to pre production though. the work still needs to be done, but when it gets done changes.
