Thank you so much for bringing me on for Random Side Cast! Had a blast discussing the past, present, and future of Horizon 😁
Yes, it was awesome. It was everything i hoped it would be.
Let’s go!!! First the community spotlight and now this interview! Nox’s channel is growing so much!
Been waiting for this collab for ages. So happy!
Edit: Just watched the whole thing and thank you so much for the shoutout (1:26:40)! And of course, you're welcome! ❤️
36:30 i think that sylens is either a clone of peter or is peter himself somehow. first of all sylens would definitely be able to blur peters face from the files (and the chances that he’s been to the zenith facility are very high), second of all tilda is VERY frosty and confrontational towards sylens from the first moment she meets him. same with him towards her. perhaps he knew that tilda was obsessive over sobeck, and knew her true intentions because he knew her before…
the whole tilda/sylens intro scene reads very different if you watch it with this theory in mind!
it could also explain why he was with the banuk for a long time, cause he knew they had access to cyan, meaning more data?
there’s also just many little things that make me suspicious that he’s a clone/is peter. the way he talks about the tribes, the language he chooses to use, the fact he sees himself as SO above others etc…it just makes sense to me! i’m not sure which way i think is most likely, but i’m leaning more towards clone. perhaps with his genetic ID he was able to access peters things and learn all about him…
one big flaw with this theory though is that from data points, it’s likely peter was a pretty nice guy. sylens is not! although again, maybe he’s a clone who has misinterpreted the data much like the quen?
now i’m going all tin foil hat!! i do really like this theory though. i can’t shake the feeling that sylens will be the ultimate antagonist in the 3rd game!
Always thought an Elisabet/Ted show could be the way to go, budget wouldn’t have to be as big, and the story could fit more linearly.
exactly, my fear is that adapting the 31st century would require Avatar levels of budget and vision.
@@nicolaslabra2225 they ain’t adapting the 31st century.
Woww RSQ, you just putting my favourite horizon RUclipsrs to this podcast ;) ! So great to you two talking about the horizon world! 🤩😄
Call of the mountian takes place during the zero dawn timeline.
Hey guys, you say you don't know where Elysium is. But looks like we do! Charles Ronson at data point said the following, I quote:
"Angry at myself for... Well, he died alone and I didn't get the bloody birds of paradise saved, either. All the time left in the world now to think. GAIA Prime's locks are sealed. Elysium sealed up, safe and sound. A distance of miles, but it might as well be on the other side of the galaxy."
Looks like Elysium was located not far from Gaia-Prime object and it means that Elysium is essentially located in the territories of the Zero Dawn, since it is located near the Gaia Prime facility where Ronson was located. It is unlikely that Elysium is located in LA.
What do you think?
My Man @NoxiousAsp can't believe he's so chill in this video Lol
I completely forgot that that Peter guy from Far Zenith had his face blurred in everything.
I feel like that has to mean that we have met him/a clone of him through the game already.
Maybe Sylens is a clone of him? Or literally just him since the Zeniths figured out immortality.
i think sylens is either a clone, or is him somehow!
it would explain why tilda was SO confrontational with him
tbh it would make sense for elysium to be in LA for many reasons! i like the idea it’s under that park. noxiousasp- don’t worry about clarifying and qualifying your theories so much, they’re called theories for a reason! your speculations are really fun :)
Was just thinking about Burning Shores and the Horus that wakes up. What if Hephaestus uploads itself into the Titan as a means to try and stop Aloy?

Spoilers!!!
Wait I'm getting confused, I thought the call of "the mountain" takes place during the ending of the "Red Raids" leading up to somewhere in the middle of HZD's Campaign where we meet Aloy.
Peter Tshivhumbe face is blurred. I feel that is because he will show up later and an known actor will play him.
Absolutely love these hype-casts! Also FYI the channel link in the description for NoxiousAsp doesn't work
Thanks so much for the heads up, should be good now!
Unrelated but I'm convinced that the "glitch" that made the machines is also explained when you think about how confident Faro was in the machines' competence. Throw in the mind digitization work started by the founder of Far Zenith, and the clear answer is clear:
Faro built the machines with a rudimentary AI copy of his own mind. So confident that nothing could be smarter than himself, he built no backdoor into them because why would HE possibly be wrong?
It also explains why Elizabet was so easily able to threaten to reveal why the machines went rogue and why Faro immediately caved when she brought it up.
My theory is that the finale will be perfectly poignant: Ted Faro's mind will be what's in control of Nemesis-from the same brain scan that fueled the machines' "glitch."
Appropriately, the final showdown will be a battle between Ted Faro's mind and ego against Elizabet Sobeck's body and spirit.
Faro-Nemesis taking control of everything for itself vs Aloy Sobeck sharing the load with all the friends, family, and allies she has made throughout her adventures.
Great job RSQ
Just finished Horizon Call of the Mountain (and yes there are Ancient Vessels at the mouting peak), so I interested if there will be Lore analyses of it.
RSQ dude! FPS game of Enduring Victory would be awesome!
loved this interview! #yearofnoxious
re the other biospheres that hades mentioned, would this mean that other societies of humans existed in those short times? or would eluthia not have made the new humans until the biosphere was viable?
First time doing this on Chili's channel.
Who would win?
HZD Frozen Wilds DLC: Demonic Redeye Wacther VS Halo CE: Infected Pvt. Jenkins combat form
i can’t see the netflix show being faithful to the games. i’m honestly dreading it! netflix ruins everything they touch, even their good shows are just repetitive and boring now :(
the only way i can see it working is if it was based on sobeck/faro, or maybe the military effort? but then the cost and potential for awful CGI…ugh. is it bad that i kind of hate that games are being adapted so much now? gaming is its own art form and works because it’s so immersive, i worry that shortening and editing aloys journey would lose so much of what makes horizon so special
I fear the same :/
I was always under the impression that Elysium was the series of underground ruins / bunkers throughout the game.
is there timestamps to avoid spoilers for burning shores?
Colors are important. Hades and Nemesis are red. We can assume vast silver is silver. Gaia is gold. I see a synergy in the future with Gaia and vast silver. Also Sobeck worked on vast silver and Beta is a programmer. Does vast silver allow Beta to work on it’s programming? Which leads to rumors of Beta dieing the future but maybe she doesn’t die but assimilates with the lonely Nemesis ( just a thought) alternatively we never see Gerard’s body so a simple solution is to put him into the space ship and fly him off into the unknown….Nemesis really wants the Zeniths above all, and might bypass earth to go after Gerard……..Just random thoughts for the random side quest guy :)
Elisabet had nothing to do with vast silver. She never worked on vast silver
Maybe somehow the VR character is the one to woke up the Horus and leads us into the DLC.
I'd bet my shards on Gildun stumbling upon Brin somewhere in Burning Shores, and Brin got him hooked on drinking machine oil. Both wasted out of their minds, with Brin desperate of wanting to drink Horus machine oil and Gildun still searching for a looking glass, they probably activated it by accident. I mean it legit sounds like a thing Gildun would be perfectly capable of doing, given how he can't resist pressing buttons he really shouldn't lol
Man I really hope they nail the Horizon series, the franchise really needs a comeback. If they mess it up it would harm the franchise very much.
!!Spoilers!!
Here's a question for forbidden West veterans: When you defeat Zenith's, do Specter Drones still patrol their base following their original hostile patrol codes, or are they Hephestus' new neon lapdogs crashing with Aphex Thunderjaws on Gerard's couch?
After their defeat if you go back to their base it is completely empty.
Sylens is travis tate
