hey man I'm a mastery 10 Ymir and this helped me go from a full support to a great pushing guardian. thax for the build, all though I did change it a bit.
the black face you are talking about is where the intestinal bacteria produce gasses which then works its way into blood vessels and tissue, causing the body to bloat and the skin to turn green to purple to black (which typically ranges from 10-20 days postmortem.)

If you didn't know, his wall also totally neutralizes Ah Puch's ult. If you put up the wall near the starting edge of AP's ult it'll block every ghost and leave you a big patch you can stand safely in.
Were you playing back when you could build physical damage items on mage gods and visa versa? There was a ADC Ymir build, with his passive you could freeze, hit them twice with double damage crits, and they'd die. It was awesome!
If you ever want to try to do full damage ymir again, I would recommend trying to get a polynomicon for ymir's passive to go into play along with the polynomicon. That's my favorite.

i fucking love damage ymir builds, he is so strong in joust, i could late game solo 2 people at a time as long as they didnt have stuns and i would just never die because of his insane health
For the wall trick you need a minimum of level two boots, sir. You can't wall beneath your feet with level 1 boots. You, also, can't have a stellar connection. If your ping is really low, it might not work. This is a trick that, actually, benefits from having a bit of lag.
Personally if I go full damage Ymir I use Spear of Isolation, Tahuti Rute, Boots (Purple), Polynomicon, Chronos Pendant and then either Bancroft's Talon, Soul Reaver or if allowed (I do play alot of Assault) Book of Toth. Basically you can 2 shot people with the freeze and an autoattack or just use the standard combo freeze, icewave and autoattack for stupidly high damage and guaranteed kills. also a fully charged Ulti does about 2.3k damage :D
You shouldn't count his stun as "1...2", because that's only a second. When counting always start from 0, otherwise you'll always miss by a second. "0...1...2"
Raynday I dare you to play Guardian Nieth. Her kit allows her to be an effective guardian and I find myself playing that way a lot when I play Nieth however I don't use a Guardian build on her.

BUILD MUST HAVE RUNIC SHIELD AND WITCHBLADE + WEAKENING CURSE(no atkspd slow but slows are fun :D). Rest of the build is up to you. It's hilarious to cage an aa Xbal or Rama and watch them auto at maybe .7 speed. :3

his passive is op, what if you mixed his passive and polynomicon?

Try polynomicon. Poly with his passive gives massive burst. Freeze + Basic(With Poly) + Spikes
