A flex ramp is a nice tool to have but takes up a lot of space. I made one that folds down flat. And then swopped it for a set of tires with a local wholesaler, so now I have to do it all over again.

Just tack a longer one over the top to make it longer and less angle. I understand that by the time you realised it was too steep, you would have all been well over it lol. Like when I tried to make my own rock sliders and ended up splitting with the wife 2 weeks later hahaha

Question were is flex measured from...bottom of tire or hub to ground...?? 🤔 I've seen videos from other channels go from and swap around when measuring....please explain is there a right way to boast....

I would rather choose 3mm thickness, which would be plenty IF one would make a propper weld. = clean the metal before welding (like the milling we see here)
There are nice tools availible for that to put on a drill. save on thickness - buy an additional tool. my2ct
