they made the beep so loud probably so you could actually hear the tiltback when needed, but i agree that it's stupid that it's so loud ALL the time rather than only tiltback
There's always a new, better, more powerful, more whatever wheel coming out soon. I just bought the Patton and have been mostly happy with it, but I think the larger diameter tire would be better for the off-roading I usually do. My Master (non-Pro) feels less tiring and more stable both on and off-road, though the suspension on the Patton is very good and not rattly. Also, the Patton has a remarkable range given the size of the battery. 40 miles with battery charge to spare is easy. On the Master with those high discharge cells and smaller capacity - not so much.

For me, I just don’t like the reduction in battery compared to the Sherman-S / Max. I get that most people will be fine with the reduced battery capacity, but as a 260 lbs rider I can “only” get about 50-60 miles on a full charge on my Max and I have sag about 30 miles in where I can’t push it as hard or sustain high 30-40 mph.
That’s a good point but some people don’t mind having a lower range to have a more powerful and portable wheel. The great thing is there are lots of excellent choices out right now.

That is good to know because currently they are loud. It is in the settings on the wheel? I adjusted a bunch of things but didn't know that was adjustable.

The only Ebikes worth mentioning are Sur-Rons and Onyxs. Don't know if there is anything better/faster than those 2 currently. Those are the 2 I was interested in a few years ago.
Looks like a great wheel but not that much of an upgrade from my ex30 in terms of top speeds and acceleration (especially with field weakening in race mode) and less range than the ex30.. I'll wait to see how the 168v commander gt pro turns out.. will likely be a bigger upgrade power wise over my ex30.. for now my ex30 and Extreme already cover all my riding needs very well but this looks to be the best racing wheel to date made (for now)
The suspension is a lot better than the EX30 but you can upgrade the linkage or suspension on it. In terms of craftsmanship, the Lynx beats it in all areas except for not having a C40 high torque motor. I like the EX30 but I prefer the ride quality on the Lynx.
I didn’t but I do think it would have issues over time. Luckily, they supplied us with the 66 lb coil to replace it with. Ultimately, Andrew would like the 70 lb one because of his weight.
How does the Lynx torque compare to the S22 Pro? My biggest concern with the Lynx is that it's only 3.2kW compared to the 4kW S22 Pro. Does the higher voltage make up for lower wattage motor?
depends on a lot of factors but the averages seem to be 30 miles for REALLY aggressive riding, 40 miles for a bit of aggressive riding and cruising, 50 miles for just a normal ride, and 65 miles if you’re going very slow (subtract 5 miles for if you’re on the heavier side or add 5 miles if you’re on the lighter side)
Andrew's rippin on that thing! He always looks like he wants to start beef when he's in the background with Jimmy talking though LOL idk what it is, he looks like he wants to fight 😆. It'd be cool to see more ride videos, no reviews necessary, just my 2 cents. 🤷♂🤜🤛
Thanks for the insight. Not much to hate on the wheel if the beeps can be lowered. I watched an older video to adjust the settings but the update had not been released yet on the wheel in the video.
I swear, Back to the Future was not far off from the truth... EDIT : As someone who rides Motorcycles and Honda Scooters, why is there not an option for a handlebar type "thingy" (official term) ? Would new riders find it to be like training wheels ? I am 100% newbie, or better yet never-be.
It has self balancing but and a little tricky to learn at first. But after some practice, it’s not too hard to ride. It’s like a Segway or hoverboard with one wheel.
I am only 140 lbs. and 5'5" tall. Do you think that this wheel is too big for me? It looks pretty tall. I have the Sherman Max and the Begode Master currently. My Begode Master is the tallest wheel for me and I look small against it.
It's definitely bigger than the Max and has a taller pedal height, but not much heavier. It's comparable to the Master.. I was out riding the Lynx all day yesterday and it is now my go to wheel.
@@freshlycharged Maybe I should just sell my Sherman Max and my Begode Master and just consolidate by buying the Lynx. It is like the Max and the Master got together and produce the Lynx. I am afraid that if I buy the Lynx then I would not use my Sherman Max or the Begode Master anymore and just have them collect dust.
Cool, but "safely" isn't a word I would use, describing one of these powered wheels. If you take a header going as fast as this can go, you are definitely going to live in a hospital for a while, even if you go down, wearing full gear...possibly even an Dainese airbag leather set.
Falling can hurt too. Plenty of people have broken bones by just falling from standing height. I permanently messed up my shoulder when falling on ice last year and I always ride full geared. I don't plan to ever stop riding though ;) @@JonahHax

The suspension is a lot better than the EX30 but you can upgrade the linkage or suspension on it. In terms of craftsmanship, the Lynx beats it in all areas except for not having a C40 high torque motor. I like the EX30 but I prefer the ride quality on the Lynx.
@@freshlychargedHow does the power compare? Assuming as a light rider the lynx will have similar acceleration to the EX30?
How much do you weigh and what‘s your lbs on the Lynx again..?
So this and the sherman s are the 2 best wheels available? Which is best between the 2?
Looks like you had the 62lb suspension, did you have any trouble with bottoming it out?
I didn’t but I do think it would have issues over time. Luckily, they supplied us with the 66 lb coil to replace it with. Ultimately, Andrew would like the 70 lb one because of his weight.
@@freshlychargedwhy would you have issues over time?
Because the suspension will get looser, or because you will do bigger jumps?
How does the Lynx torque compare to the S22 Pro? My biggest concern with the Lynx is that it's only 3.2kW compared to the 4kW S22 Pro. Does the higher voltage make up for lower wattage motor?
Big question, V13 or Lynx??
What’s the range??? That’s what I want to know!
depends on a lot of factors but the averages seem to be 30 miles for REALLY aggressive riding, 40 miles for a bit of aggressive riding and cruising, 50 miles for just a normal ride, and 65 miles if you’re going very slow (subtract 5 miles for if you’re on the heavier side or add 5 miles if you’re on the lighter side)
Magnesium body with a lithium battery? That sounds like an explosive thing to crash!
Andrew's rippin on that thing! He always looks like he wants to start beef when he's in the background with Jimmy talking though LOL idk what it is, he looks like he wants to fight 😆. It'd be cool to see more ride videos, no reviews necessary, just my 2 cents. 🤷♂🤜🤛
Lol, I have RFF in a helmet. Resting fight face. 😂
@@Andrew-vt4jt 😆😆
cmon guys, you can lower the beep volumes on the display, good video
Thanks for the insight. Not much to hate on the wheel if the beeps can be lowered. I watched an older video to adjust the settings but the update had not been released yet on the wheel in the video.
Looks like a nice wheel. Ive been carving on my a2 and ready for a big boy euc. This one has bms?
this wheel does have a smart bms
They all have a BMS but it does have a smart BMS.
Not long ago the abrams was being slated for only having a 2700 battery........what's changed.
How dangerous are these? Do they have more or worse accidents than other wheel transports?
What lbs suspension does yours have? 62, 66, 70?
I swear, Back to the Future was not far off from the truth...
EDIT : As someone who rides Motorcycles and Honda Scooters, why is there not an option for a handlebar type "thingy" (official term) ? Would new riders find it to be like training wheels ? I am 100% newbie, or better yet never-be.
I enjoy all of the PEV content, but I 100% stay for the EUC content. Definitely top contender for replacing my RS19.
You would love thin wheel coming from an RS19.
I’m interested in that @7:59 hoodie. Where can I get one from?

is that max grade is 45%?
55mph..
Just because I feel like dying today!
NICE
And If you hit something, you become Superman, cool.
👍
Oh man does that look fun... why is money so hard to get :S
💯‼️💙
What pound suspension would you recommend for a 225lb guy ?
I’d say the 70 lb would be the best choice for you.
An obvious question which you might have answered in previous videos. Where in the world is it legal to ride it?
How do you hold your balance on that thing 🤔
It has self balancing but and a little tricky to learn at first. But after some practice, it’s not too hard to ride. It’s like a Segway or hoverboard with one wheel.
@@Andrew-vt4jt thank you for the information
exactly the same way as a bicycle, only you are standing up and don't hold on to handle bars.
If you take a header going as fast as this can go, you are definitely going to live in a hospital for a while, even if you go down, wearing full gear...possibly even an Dainese airbag leather set.
oh these things are really safe. it’s the rider that could make things unsafe but that is the same with any pev
I ride motorcycles, and these are orders of magnitude more dangerous than bikes. @@VECTOR_Coasters
You should learn about ballistics. You don't fall any harder at speed, you just slide for longer. Just gear up.
Falling can hurt too. Plenty of people have broken bones by just falling from standing height. I permanently messed up my shoulder when falling on ice last year and I always ride full geared. I don't plan to ever stop riding though ;) @@JonahHax
