Hello the sound is fairly ok and it has a bass control as well but problery just the same as one built in 90s,so good for putting in the kitchen but no boom box.
Hi, build quality extremely low, not from a old Philips mold more like a sharp one please note on cassette door APSS , the bass and treble are almost nonexistent, the good thing about it is Bluetooth, I have as part of my collection 3 Hacker radios all over 50 years old, I can’t see this rakatech radio lasting that long. these cassette players are just cheapass made,also it's a shame that it doesn't even play or record in stereo oh no, it's all mono,what are they thinking,i can buy a cheap cassette player in a second hand store wich plays and record in stereo at much much higher quality, i can't believe that they're still selling & and making those things in ''2020'' now while mono audio was acceptible back in the 80's but moat cassette players were already in stereo and in 2020 we should absolutely no longer tolerate mono audio it's outdated now for good unles the Original recording was in mono ,but to ricatech among other companys selling such decieving crap they should stop doing that!!!
i have this model 2 of them but. and i see in radio recording is a bad noice internal is mic far well not real working good..and yes it play allone and record in mono but radio self is also good in preamp...i can hear this thing to in my sleeproom ...
these guys are just as bad as bumpboxx what the point of having two speakers if you gonna have monaural sound output bumpboxx has finally caught on and starting to make stereo boomboxes if i want mono I'll get a one speaker radio
