- In this video I walk through how to make an exam timetable. The strategy I use can be applied to IGCSE's, A levels, I.B. and University! Making a revision schedule or timetable can be really tricky and a bit daunting for some people but hopefully after watching this video it makes everything nice and simple!

Thank you so much
Thank you so much for sharing this routine as I'm about to have my exams next month. All the best I hope you do well in life and this is the first time writing to you. I've watched few videos of yours and they are really helpful for me especially the 4hrs block, though I haven't gotten to that extent but I'm trying my best.
Why is there no translation for Arabic?
👍👍
🌈
Him : I give myself minimum six weeks to prepare
Meanwhile me : watching this the day before finals
Your gonna fail I think Idk
Oh didn't expect you here😂
Love to binge watch ur vids btw❤
i usually study 2 days before my exam
@RIYA GOGOI I still remember your stress potty before exam that day in the video. Lol.
😂😂😂😂
*A TIP:* you can screenshot the monthly calendar in the calendar app in the iPad. afterwards, just insert that screenshot into the notability app, so you wouldn't have to draw a table and manually write the days and dates, plus it saves time.
Well this is a smart idea
Or maybe just use excel.......
I don't have ipad,so what's point?
@@aloksingh__3698 then this tip isnt for you. It's for people with ipad plus I'm pretty sure u can do this on other devices that arent apple
Any other app instead of ‘notability’ cuz I can’t pay
"i prefer to start six weeks before my finals, usually four is really cramped for me." Me, starting less than a week before: 💀
Me:
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I am proud of your parents :)
ahahaha I'll take it!
Proud of him duh ???
@@davenzo3801 you dont get it dont you
@@youtuberxgen2898 of course I do but it’s him putting the work in isn’t it ? You’re the one that doesn’t understand my comment 😑
@@davenzo3801 bruh his parents made him.... why dont you understand?
The issue is that we finish our syllabus 2 weeks before our finals, so there's no room for early prep before these 2 weeks as we're trying to study the new content.
Will try to follow your advice 💜
I'm guilty of spending more time making revision timetables than revising haha! What works best for me is making lists, varying components of subjects. Eg. anatomy of upper limb, interpreting LFTs, Cardiovasc examination. I make a list and aim to be done by the end of the day and vary the subjects so i don't just do one subject at a time to avoid not covering any if i get short on time.
ahahaha yeah I've heard this is a thing! I love using lists too, it really helps organize. That's a good strategy to make sure you cover a breadth of topics, nice 🙂
Same goes wid me.. Lol
watch Ali Abdaal's vid on revision TTs
Engineering Students:
6 Days, Non Negotiable.
I've made sooo many revision timetables throughout the years but how do I actually stick to the timetables? This video was full of great ideas and I'll be sure to implement them next time I have exams!!
I think once you stick to it once and realize just how much value it adds to your revision period you'll never look back. Just make the effort and do it 💪🏼😁
I usually look at the ratio of the likes - dislikes (and not on the actual number) to know whether the video going to be good and informative before I see him. and 401 to 1 is amazing and you rarely see this on youtube. great video!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Set alarms to remind you to look at your timetable
6 weeks?? I'm probably asleep with no tension in the world 6 hours before my exam
This is so me😭😂
Are you even human? 😂
Lol your comment makes me laugh
@@Shreyathecrazykid now he is actually a human😁
😂😂😂😂
QUALITY info for uni students trying to change their study habits! Thank you!
Listening to this video too.....starting preparation early is one thing i need to work on
I use the same method and it works best for me .😊
When you have a calendar in front of you with everything already planned , you can save soo much of time .
Go for it!!
Although I'm an Engineer but still I love your videos . There are many subtle points in your videos which we normal miss out.
Love from India ❤️
The most relatable part is cutting off the day columns and subject list... It seriously is the best feeling ever!!
This is so specific and what I need to organise all the topics I have to review are very well said. I have an upcoming big big exam in chemical engineering integration. This is so helpful and inspiring! Hope our dreams come true! Thank you for being part of your channel!! God bless!
Amazing! Thank you so much 😁😁
I did my undergrad in my home country (India) and I’ve recently moved away from home for my post grad in Economics in one of the top unis. The way of teaching and studying here is SO different and I’ve been so overwhelmed and scared that I’ve just not been studying because I had no idea where and how to start! This has really really helped and has given me a structure to at least get started. So grateful! Thank you.
Great! 😁
Hey I have been facing similar problems!!
I'm watching this video now but I've done the same for the first time in my life, I mean I planned that well and succeeded with it and am done with my 4th yr finals. Glad that we think similar! 😃😄😇
Wow he is such an inspiration!!!I will be having my As next year so i was not really studying very much in my weekends.I was tryna study but there were many distractions after seeing his 'study with me' vid and this vid I FEEL SUPER MOTIVATED to study !! I am thankful that i came across this channel.I hope i keep studying hard and dont burn out and get into the medicine school or at least any other courses that involves bio !!
First video in yt I found without dislike 😂👏👏👏
Praise the lord haha 🙏🏻
Hahaha this is true....
And then u see those 54🤦
Thank youu for the video. Not even a medical student but it s helpful
I'm a computer science student at UC Berkeley. I'm preparing for my final and I only have 3 weeks lol. Thanks for this great video. I will try it out and let you know how it goes!
Good luck!
😅😅😅So how did it go?
@@morenathekiso2421 lol I did pretty badly but it's okay I did well this semester!
@@pengyuanchen3080 That's great stuff... Do you have any tips for me I'm doing Computer engineering and it's my first year...?
@@morenathekiso2421 I think resilience is the most important thing for 1st year CS/CE students if you don't come in with much background. Sometimes it will be really rough but just know that it's gonna get easier over time as you get more used to the CS/CE way of thinking. And also make sure you absolutely understand everything in your lectures, tutorials and labs. Do this by noting down any doubts you have and clarifying with your professor or TAs or friends afterwards.
Your videos are really addictive, fun and helpful. THANK U FOR MAKING THEM ❤️
❤️
The most practical and real knowledge. I always like your videos and the content because you show exactly what you feel and you do. It’s never with the sugar coated thousands of materials which contradict. Amazing. Great work.
Best and most genuine video I had ever seen on RUclips
6weeks? oh my... my exams will start in 6 days from now 😭
me lmao
Lol in 7 days
Same but they're mock exams and high school so I'll definitely be doing 6 weeks in uni/med school
@@lkctom2546 Until they said "you have 3 days of study time" while shoving new topics in your face 👀

I am a dental assistent student from the Netherlands. I think this can help me a lot. Thanx for the video
I would like to see a vid about “ a day off with kharma medic” 😆✌️ should be pretty interesting
In this quarantine, i have no motivation to study and the last professional is so difficult 😭
Omg you are simply just epic. Cheers for this dude!
Btw what app are you using to make this timetable?
😁 Thank you! It's made on Notability on the iPad pro 2018
Great content, tips, advice and inspiration to be disciplined! Lots of love from Nigeria!!
I just wanna say thank you for this video. This technique helped me get an A in my philosophy course (uni)!
Just amazing I actually kind of relate a lot to the things u speak in ur videos n thts y love watching them ..

You motivated me very much for my A/L 🙂🙂thanks .
omg i am an ib student and i might need to reist my exams and this was tremendously useful i love u all the way from portugal!!! @kharmamedic
Wow watching this after 1 year and only 11 dislike that's amazing btw I love ur videos and I try to watch all ur video and thx for everything ur doing for us❤
I have always made timetables, but i cannot cope with that, and that depresses me everytime
that might be because you might not have set up a realistic goal or you might be revising in a wrong direction because it happens with me too and that's what i have analysed .well silly me replying an year old comment. haahaa
Why does he have pens in his thumbnail when he’s making the timetable on an iPad?
Srinivasan Krishnan where?
Carl Apr in the thumbnail!
For aesthetics of course. Lots of channels and accounts do this.

Thank you for your technique. I'll have midterm exam next 2 weeks. Hope it'll worth it.😁
Wow, this is so great I wish I knew you from my 1st year of med, anyway thank you so much this is so helpful to me. You are really a Great person 😍
Heyyy
Please make a video on how to study in quarantine .
Please
It has become only 2 or three but I am really motivating from you
I have a complicated question, bear with me 🙂. If we know that the exam is going to be held in and around a particular month, but if we don't know when it will exactly start, how should we plan?
Awesome video though 😃
assume that the exam is on 1st day of that month in which it will happen and plan accordingly
This was uploaded at the time of my igcses 😢 thx anyways loved the video
Toshaun oh no! I hope it's still useful for your upcoming revision 😁
oW really good video helped me a lot. I had difficulty organizing when I needed to learn for something. Second semester Business Informatics btw. Greeting form Germany
Thank you Jona! I'm glad it's helpful 😁 Greetings to Germany 👋🏻
I remember watching this in premed!
Thanks Nasir bro....
This video helped me a lot..... I too have my exams just 6 weeks ahead....
Hoping for more useful content regarding med studies 🙂👍🏻
How do you actually study? Do you write out your lecture notes? Flashcards? Reading textbooks?
I write out notes on my iPad and then study from there 🙂
Love your videos, been watching them from a very long time and are extremely helpful. I hope you keep making amazing content like these. CAN YOU MAKE A VIDEO ON MANAGING TIME AND SPENDING TIME IN STUDYING AS WELL AS GIVING SELF TIME?
The one week for past papers and practise is essential, thanks
It was super super informative.......though I am in grade 9 ........it sounds easy to make an exam timetable ...tqqqqq
Kharma: 6 weeks is my safety net
Me through my last 4 years of mechanical engineer: oh damn 1 week before midterm/finals I better START studying 😳💀💀💀
Thanks it helped me a lot
I have finals in exactly in 5weeks and this video really put me on the right path to scheduling my revision thank youuuu very much
All your videos are so inspirational. Thank you for sharing your great study ideas and techniques; very useful.
Thank you for the video. Gonna use these tips for my major exam this yr. Hope i can get a scholarship to study overseas next yr.

Thanks for this tips some of them I already follow and some are new for me
My exams are coming soon I think they will be helpful
I want to know that if I should revesion on the same day or next day
Thankyou so much... I really was in need of this. I always thought the process of making the timetable itself was a complicated process but you made it so easy and quick 🙏✨❤
Hmm, 8 weeks until the exams but we will be busy with model exams and classes for 3 more weeks I guess... Usually I never get to completing the entire material but this time I will try my best to do so...Tysm Nasir...for your ideas... Really happy that i came across this video today..❤
I just made it thank u so much for such a simplified and relaxed timetable
Thank you so much! Extremely useful!❤

Hey! Love your videos!! Can you make a video where you have about 7 to 8 weeks for an exam( just like you said that you need 6 weeks for an exam)? It would be great help for me as I have an exam coming up in about 2 months. Thanks a lot for this video though!! :)
Hiii..can you please tell me something about notes making and how to write effective answers in exams..I m a biotech student.
Sick video!!

اذا كنت تستطيع احتاج رؤية الفديو بالعربية
If you can, I need to see the video in Arabic.
Took me ages to find this video 💀✨
youre an OG, but I do something called the "one night miracle", I know it sounds really raunchy but its not. It is simply where you sit down and realize you are about to pull an all-nighter and learn everything you can the night before the exam, you'll get through it and everything has been forced into short-term memory, you cannot sleep because that wipes all that information away.
I took ten steps forward with the video and 15 steps back after seeing this comment 😭
Thank you so much for the video, it is extremely helpful! I myself am a KCL student studying a BEng course (Strand/Bush house campus) and planning this semester was essential for me. I have a quick question however, roughly how long in advance do you start planning for finals? I think time management has been the biggest obstacle for me this semester and not starting early has definitely held me back a little. So for roughly 5 exams how much time would you devote for revision? Thank you so much for the great content, hoping to bump into you some day to say hi when I do visit Guys :))))
Hey no worries, KCL ❤️ I like to give myself 6weeks. That gives me enough comfort to know I'll be able to cover all the content in time for the exam. But it really depends how many courses you're taking / how intense your semester is! And of course please come say hi if you see me 😁
Thanks so much for responding @@KharmaMedic :) I will definitely be keeping that time frame in mind and adapting it based on how intense next year is (final year thank god!) Good luck with exams and I hope to bump into you some time soon! :))
Good luck!
This is simply amazing... I found it really very relatable . 🤗😊😌
I watched quite a lot of similar video, and your methods are always the best for me. It’s clear and it works for me. Subscribed!
Great video, hope your exams go well :)
Thank you Luka, right back at ya!
where was this when i needed it ☹️
You're super inspiring ❤️. Thanks so much 🥰
I like your videos so much it keep me motivated to study💙🔥
Literally i have to study 7 subjects for their writing exam and 1 for the practical exam. i feel great when i only study 2 weeks before and im shit shocked when i saw u need 6. No why i got those shitty grades
Okay I have a question for Europeans: what exactly is the difference between revision and studying? I always use the term "studying" to just mean "memorizing and/or understanding material." It looks like revision is studying, but specifically for an exam?
Studying is reading in-depth
Revision is done probably a few days or hours before the exam
This video is so useful and it gave me a couple of ideas for my next exams. I only have one question, what does to past papers mean? English is not my first language so I didn't really get that. I hope you anwer, thanks :)
thank you i will try to apply this~
I'm going to give it a try !!!! Keep it up Bro
Wish there was a video like this for the mcat with 6 month studying time
I did that in 2017!
Why is there no Arabic translation?
Nice💕
Iam from arabic country, you talk quickly 😂
Iam secend year medical Student, i hope to be good docter like you✨
What do you do when you study the different topics? Do you just go through them without making flashcards or do you use active recall in some way? Also, when do you start doing past exams? Im a first year med student in Sweden and im trying to find the most efficient study strategy.
Hi Nasir. Do you completely use electronics for note taking or do you have write in notebooks as well? Thanks! Great video!
Since I bought the iPad I haven't written anything down using pen and paper 😁
Yeah it's helpful and thanks 👍👋
Great video. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
This was really helpful as always! 😁 How many hours per day do you usually spend revising before exams? Also, how many marks do you need to pass an exam? Best of luck, I'm 100% sure you'll smash them! 👌
Yay! During exam season I do around 8 hours a day in two 4 hour blocks (9-1 and 2-6) but really that's only needed at university not in highschool! It completely depends on how the rest of your classmates score, generally around 60%. Thanks so much, I hope so! 😁
Thansk for ur help!
Great video 👏👏 just so epic
What brand of coloured pens are the ones you used for your thumbnail? I really want those, thanks.
The intro is matching the title of the video 🤣👍🏼
