hands down one my favorite performances by the beastie boys.
the beat switch @5:38 to "Breathe" by Fabolous is cleannnn.
I've never seen this before, and after watching it 20 times in a row it's now my favorite.
Check the version they did at Live Earth in 2007. Mix Master Mike switches the beat to "Breathe" like he does here, but he switches it to Nas - Made You Look towards the end of the song.

They talk about it in their autobiography. I believe they just went and rented all the cameras to do it with. This looks pretty awesome as well. I don't remember seeing this one. Used to tape a lot of the music performances back in the day. Lost some tapes, but got maybe 8 between 90 to 95. Haven't played those tapes in years.

This was awesome - still seems so fresh. I love the play between Dave and Paul with the cameras at the beginning. The cameras were also a fun component of the performance though what the deck was Dave shooting? The performance was great and even more impressive given how little the audience was giving them - that room shoulda been rockin!'! Anyway, awesome video - RIP MCA!!!

I love how taste can change. Growin up hearing this at like 12 and liking hip hop n r&b, I would see songs /music videos like this and change it immediately like “this is weird” but at age 16-17 actually listen to the music and holy f***

Itn hurts me that I will never attend a live performance of the Beastie Boys and those guys in the audience are frozen still watching them
I've been to two of their shows and seen them at Lollapalooza-all when I was in high school early-mid 90s. I promise everybody was going gorillas the whole time! They were unlike anything we'd seen before-hip hop/rap/punk/skate culture mixed together LOUDLY 😅 It felt revolutionary. Getting to go to those shows-and as a teenager, which still feels like it was the right age to do so? That's not something I take for granted 💜💜💜

I saw them on the License to Ill tour. They were amazing from the very start.
Saw them in Philly at Festival Pier in Aug 2007. Mid 90s, soooo hot, and they went non stop 2 hours in polyester suits… best show I’ve ever seen
My wife's parents worked security at at Beastie/Run DMC concert. She was like 8 or something and didn't let her go.

I must've listened to this performance over 100 times, the beats are incredible...also missing from this edit is much of the original broadcast footage from Dave's camera, you can see him focusing intently to his left, which on the original broadcast you can see the object of interest was non other than Steph the intern...pre-extortion attempt

It looks like some of the handy cam shots weren’t edited in synchronously with the ‘production’ camera shots. Do you have a time stamp for an example?
