I have the 80. They are great boards. Although I may have broken the strap but that was might result not Palmer’s. Those straps came with mine to hold your power bank in place. I have now gone for three Thomman modular power supplies and they are superb.
i have the donner pedalboard with matching (much better) power supply underneath for half the price and its just amazing! so much money saved just to spend it on a 600€ fender fuzz pedal 😂👌🎸
Also loc-tight everything once your height and bar space is set. You can still get the bolts and nuts loose with effort so it's not gluing them in place but nothing will rattle loose either.
Excellent as always Andy. I like the power bar incorporated if its up to it voltage and ports wise. On another tack, how do we see more of your band mate?
I have the 60 but not the power supply. Other then the power supply area was to small for the supply I got and o have to brake the tabs off to get it too fit that should also be screwed on and moveable. But no other problems .
By now, I figured pedal boards would have direct power connections to pedals, eliminating wires. By now, an integrated system that does not require velcro so the pedals don't move. I know about 95% of available pedals come from 2 or 3 makers, with the rest being small shops. Where is the uniformity for connections and power usage? This is like the tone and volume pots that don't engage on your guitar until you've almost turned the knob completely. If they're going to make a thing that's been around for decades, improve it! *Must be Crabby Thursday!
Although this is a cool idea, there are numerous reasons this wouldn’t work or at least be reliable. I’d love to discuss it with and electrical engineer though
Isn’t a battery-powered pedalboard the way to go these days? I don’t have one, but I just saw some online a few days ago and they made a lot of sense to me. Actually, that’s what I thought this video was going to be about. 🤷♂️

Oh, they should inform that buyers need to be full blown mechanics to set this up. The thing i don't like about Palmer power supplies is that transformator loaded power cable. I use Truetone power supplies and they use Kaltgerätekabel like the Amp or PC use aswell.
@@TheGuitarGeek I did watch, i just wanted to point out that other Palmer products have this nasty trafo aswell and i don't understand that since there's a much better solution which can be found on any other quality power supply.
The pedalboard (no psu) and bag look like the generic stage right/monoprice one that are all over the random Chinese brands. The power bar is really cool tho. It is too bad they don't sell just that.

The elasticated bands are for attaching a power supply other than the Palmer power bar. There are two hooks under the board for this
Literally what I've been looking for. Excellent, in-depth review. Also: We need more band footage!

Andy I want to see more of your band. Yall sound great. Would love to see some gig vlogs as it relates to your gear. Love all your stuff.
Thanks mate. There’s much more coming from the band. We’re working on a be lot of music 🤘❤️

Thanks mate
In regards to the feet coming loose, what about using the two nuts you initially took off as locking nuts?
This is the way

Which tabs did you break off?
@@TheGuitarGeek the ones where you need to use the Bungies it's ment to help hold the power supply with the velcro .
In lieu of using the "protector rail" can you spin the power supply around so the ports aren't on the outside at all?
Yep! I considered this but I figured this would be more difficult to fix at the gig should anything go wrong.
Never heard of this looks neat
It is!
Use lock washers on the feet and they won't come loose.
for the feet - use a second nut to secure the first nut
Locking nut!
Threadlock, too. I use this on almost all metal on metal connections, As long as you dont use too much, or use it wet so it glues everything together.

What's the best hard case available for the pedalbay 60?

So, I thought this was going to be about the HB spaceship
The power bar is compatible with the HB spaceship
Interesting that this is coming out at the same time as the Harley Benton one.
And even more so that the pieces are interchangeable…
I'd be more inclined to buy it if it had a simple IEC power connection like every other reasonable power bar
Deeeeze nuts!
I have a pair of dinner power bricks that are isolated, costs around £30, i dont see why othwr manufacturers charge so much for theirs
Sounds like I need up make a video to explain why!
@@TheGuitarGeek that would be great, I don't see why a £100 power brick costs more than a £30
