Governor: "This fight, it will go down to the last man." There is a lot of tension in this episode between doing the right thing and doing the necessary thing. One of the things that we love about TWD is that it makes us think about who we are and what we might be if the world went to hell. I agree, I've always felt you could relate so many things to the world we live in now but because society has fallen and the dead are hunting you everything is so much more dangerous without the rule of law that Rick kind of represents. Never really was about the zombies but about survival when the worlds gone to shit
"Either way, I don't pretend to be a governor" Lol, one my favorite lines in this episode. What this episode shows is that for the most part EVERYONE has the common goal of just surviving another day in this hellish and unfair world. They realize they are alot alike, but they also realize that every human is a potential threat. Great writing in this one...and music too!
:) Aww now I gotta wait for Thursday .... He he. I won't go on this time but I did like Martinez in this episode, once I heard his story and saw him and Daryl just chillin' I felt like he wasn't as "fanatical" as Philip. Herschel was great here although I still felt Milton was creepy. I'm sorry but to me Daryl is as much a biker as Merle (But I'm biased) and the bike stays as it is. love what you say "it makes us think about who we are and what we might be if the world went to hell.". I agree 100%. Thanks you for the entertainment Rob & Trin (3:39 I didn't realise Trin could be so mean. rofl)
"Your the town drunk who knocked over my fence n ripped up my yard nothing more" One of Rick's best lines! The way his voice gets real low, and his eyes looking right into the Governor's rotten soul. Great episode and Great reaction guys!! 👍
Honestly, I've seen a number of reaction channels on different TV series by different people, but none of them compares to yours because of the thoughtful statements that you both make during your videos! It was nice on this episode to hear you talk in some detail about what you like about TWD and why. I have a baised view because I've watched the show for 11 years. So it's interesting to hear your reactions. For me, there has been no other horror genre film, or TV series that I've ever seen that has as much Ethos in it as TWD does. I still miss Dale, from season two. Andrea losing her sister Amy in Season one. Moments like these linger in my memory still. So, TWD for me, is exceptional in so many ways. You expect people to die, because it is a zombie genre TV series. But I've never been so affected by character deaths before. And that is down to great writing, acting, directing, etc. Each episode is filmed like a mini movie. And there is an economy of words in the dialogue. One line from a character can say so much. Rick stating to Hershel that he could turn over Michonne to the Governor and" he still would kill them all", is a good example. Rick can see through the Governor's facade. I could say so much more, but I love your channel! Keep watching, so much more is to come! 👍👍👍
@@Uuusssaaas Yeah. The dialogue on TWD is just far and away superior to anything that I've ever seen in any horror genre film or TV series before. Even Dr. Edwin Jenner's at the CDC in season One, his monologue is haunting, and so memorable.( A character that we saw only briefly! )
So now Rick has this big dilemma. Like Rick said: He probably will kill us anyway. But then again like he said: WHAT IF he's NOT ??. What if this is the answer ??. And it's a tricky decision because they have just found and secured something that remotely looks like an actual HOME. So i understand his struggle and i love that he told Hershel because if anyone can talk him out of it, it's him. By the way, in the comics this conversation between the Governor & Rick also happens. In a little bit of a different way though. Because in the comics, the Governor CUTS OFF Rick's HAND !!.

Always thought 'Martinez' jumping to team Rick would have been awesome. In hindsight so crazy how Carol was under the radar early on. Glad you guys are soaking it up and enjoying.
This one gave me chills multiple times. I love how they communicate things about the characters beyond more than what they say, but how they carry themselves and how they do the little things without saying anything at all.
Telltale's TWD is so worth a playthrough! Season 1 is one of the greatest videogame stories of all time. The main characters of the games aren't in any of the shows, yet they're some of the best characters in the TWD universe!
The anticipation for everyone to see your reaction to what is coming is definitely mounting. I look forward to seeing you two reacting to TWD. We NEED these daily!! lol
"I just want to see the face-off between Rick and the Govenor" ~Rob, minutes before the meeting between the two Another fantastic reaction you two! I've always loved this episode for the tension that lingers throughout, even while everyone outside the meeting is realizing that they're not too different. One thing I never noticed before is that the Govenor comes out from the shadows stone faced, but when he's fully in the light he pits on his faux smile and warmth, similar to how he tries to hide his true self under the mask of a nice man. As always, I'm eagerly looking forward to the next upload! Thank you for the wonderful content
True! The governor coming out of the shadows in the manner he did was brilliant. The symbolism that at all times, hidden away, there exists this cold calculating man. I really miss the days the walking dead did this kind of stuff. When they grounded everything but still made impeccable artistic choices. I can't pinpoint when exactly they abandoned this, and there's still small glimpses later on, but its just not the same
I agree with the opening of them in that building being awesome without any build up to the meeting, just get to the point with them finally seeing each other for the first time. Rick is looking the governor over and sizing him up. So cool, he’s such a badass! Rick is my favorite character! We’re going to war!
every time I heard Rob say "I can't wait for Rick and the Governor to have a conversation", everyone who's seen this season immediately thought of this episode glad you enjoyed it :)

Your reaction when the governor walked in was perfect. I'm so happy to see you enjoying it so much. How are you liking season 3 compared to 2? I don't dislike 2, it was a necessary step on their journey, but isn't season 3 much more interesting?
Both really different vibes, for now we are really excited about the whole show, and every episode of every season is candy to us, maybe further away we might be able to rate which season we liked the most :)
I am a die hard walking dead fan as you all are. I have to say the scene's of Sophia coming out of the barn is still one of my favorite. The build up, the shock,Rick coming from the back to do what was right while the perfect and haunting music goes deep into our emotions.Perfection!
Great review guys I've binge watched the series 3 times and watching it along with someone like yourselves makes it all the more enjoyable I know it may tax your resources to include another series but Fear the Waking Dead has the same character and feel in a parallel viewpoint with unexpected surprises along the way So, to coin a phrase, thanks for watching!
If you do decide to watch fear, don't start S4 of that series until you finish S8 of the walking dead, or you'll be left scratching your head and potentially spoiling yourselves for things to come in thd origional series the walking dead.
Every time I watch this episode all I can think about is the governor singing “La bibbada bibba dum” 🤣 Rob and Trin you guys should check the song out, the actor who plays the governor even reacted to the song! 🤣 (No Spoilers BTW, it’s just a fan made song that is irrelevant to the series)
I love the artwork of the hands as ur background. One looks like it’s floating a ball in the air and another one looks like it has a string/web coming out of its palm. Until you look closer and it’s just normal hands and arms. Very cool artwork
as you guys said : probably the only show that can do an episode with basically just two people talking the whole time but still make it so tense that it's not boring. And you guys honestly, yes the show has been running for 11 seasons and it's definitely difficult to always have the writing being constantly the same level of awesome and there definitely are a couple of episodes or more like scenarios that go over a couple of episodes that just feel a little dragged out during the run of the show but I was honestly never bored with the show no matter what.
I've Loved this show since the very beginning and I really enjoy watching your reactions. I've noticed that, whenever I get a notification that you've put out the next episode, I stop EVERYTHING LOL! No matter what I'm in the middle of, I've gotta check out your reactions. Rick meeting the Governor/Rob's reaction=freaking awesome. Watching Rob's reaction to this whole episode makes me even more anxious for the next episode. So happy that y'all are enjoying it. Y'all have managed to make me love this show even more. TY
Pleasure watching your reactions and excitement for each episode. My fav show to date. Plenty of fantastic stuff to come that's gonna make you dig the show even more.
Man I really wish there was a video each day of twd😂I’m so hyped for you both to get through the show and see all the insane moments that have yet to come in the upcoming seasons
I can personally attest as being core background for two seasons on TWD that even the props are important. The table and chairs, the way they are set up and illuminated by the light. They are meticulous with placement and there is a reason for everything! Set dressing and locations are so important, the crew work so hard and it shows when people point it out. AMAZING!! I love how you both pointed that out and saw it immediately. I’m soooo excited for the next videos. I mean I have literally seen every episode ofTWD so many times, like so many others watching, and we are all loving these videos from you and Trin!! Best reaction channel! Thanks guys and looking forward to the next one!!
Absolutely you should react to the Telltale game series! It’s so amazing, and it follows closer to the comic version of the story. It’s amazing, heart wrenching, and breathtaking all at once. You won’t be disappointed in the slightest.
TracyWardFilms, season 4A is my favorite season too. If I'm just scrolling through the TV looking for something to watch I'll rewatch that season and always be engrossed each time. I even love the musical score. And it has probably my most favorite (no spoilers) speach of the whole show. Hey Tracy, when they get to that season let's see if u know which scene I'm talking about. You might already know. Anyways, it's great connecting with other TWD fans who seem to love the show as much as I do. Be well, from PA, USA.
3rd time watching this one, thought i'd let ya know, in case you haven't been told already, Rick's gun is a Colt Python .357 stainless steel finish with a 6 inch barrel. and yes, pulling the hammer back sounds even better when you're the one doing it. (i own 2, one stainless one blued)
I've said it a million times. Not only it's amazing but IRL they are a true family and tears . Just one my reasons is the their true besties. Great reaction again Rob and Trin.
If you go with the spin-off series, I suggest you watch them in order that they came out along the seasons of “regular” walking dead. Also, if you do that, don’t consider it as 2 shows and have reactions overlap, I think it would be a lot better to go season by season, even if it may feel frustrating to have to wait a whole season of another show before coming back (at least they are shorter seasons” . And lastly, with stranger things and lost coming to an end pretty soon, you could maybe consider going 3 times a week for walking dead shows, and 2 for 1-2 new shows. This will be a very long journey, you might as well crank it to 3 as soon as possible if you want to finish before Rob’s beard is turning from “ pepper and salt” to “salt and pepper” , or even just “salt” 🤣😛 Have a great day guys 🌈
I love twd so much. I have already seen the serie but to watch your reactions and thoughts makes me love it even more. Evert day you put on a new episode makes my day, despite of the timedifference from you to Denmark. Keep up your good work and positive energy. Bye.
speaking of later doing or watching side stuff, at some point after the episode you will HAVE to listen to and watch the music video "Jiggy Jar Jar Doo" by Carl Poppa.... it's freaking hilarious. it's a bad lip reading music video...
Rick is smart enough to sense the deception behind the Woodbury Freak's offer...and yet, what a temptation! To get out of the situation as a victim of an external, practically unknown person!
Just recently found your videos and have been enjoying reliving this show through you guys. Great channel, I love that you're actually engaged and providing thoughful comments, and that you're clearly enjoying it. I had to pause the video and drop a comment as soon as you mentioned the Telltale games. I can't see that you've done that yet, but PLEASE do! They're different but just as wonderful as the show - you will fall in love with many of the characters, you will have your heart broken, you will be just as engaged! Really hope to be able to hear your thoughtful comments on the game soon!
I always look forward to walking dead reactions they're hands down my favorite! The telltale series is really good too but it doesn't relate to the show's storyline just fyi I'd love to see the gameplay tho!!
Speaking of side content, they have a spin-off show called “Fear The Walking Dead”. It premiered after the season 6 mid-season finale (episode 8). It’s currently on its 7th season. Without giving too much spoilers there is inevitable crossover.
I'm soooo glad you guys liked this episode. This one gets a lot of flack for being "too slow" but it's so vital to this story. I remember for a time having this in my top 10 of all time, it's that good, until later episodes topped it.
If you want the shows to line up correctly, you might consider starting Fear the Walking Dead concurrently with Season 6 of the TWD. Love the reactions btw, keep it up!
They might wait to watch 'Fear' until they have finished this completely. In the timeline, without spoilers, season 1,2,3 of 'Fear' are all before and during season 1 of The Walking Dead. Then season 4 of 'Fear' and onwards takes place after (kinda) season 8 of The Walking Dead. So it might be just better to just start the spin offs (yes including World Beyond) because it is a part of the bigger universe and is important. After they've finished The Walking Dead fully. Because the timelines are extremely confusing. 😂
telltale walking dead games some of the best games ive ever played one of the few choices matter games thats done really well and imo it looks beautiful and story would be right up your alley. lee the goat.

Another great video. Most things I like about these videos are your reactions to the show and appreciation. Most people find this episode a bit boring but i love it like you 2 do. And TWD has some more moments like these which never fail to amaze me. Amazing vid, always a treat to watch.
Firstly, yes! Definitely react to the Telltale games! They're awesome. I only wish there were more. Secondly, thanks so much for being mindful about your audience and content and saying you'd do these potential game reactions on a different channel. Too many times I've had favorite reactors suddenly start doing something totally different on their channel, and while that's obviously their prerogative, it's quite off-putting and jarring when I've subscribed to a channel specifically for a certain type of content. As always, living for your updates!

I cant watch this episode without seeing the bad lip version in my head hahaha.
And that’s how we do it on Broadway
11 Seasons . There are some ups and downs but im very exited to watch the Show with you Guys
TWD and GOT always had the best character design in tv shows history
Was literally waiting for this episode. The soundtrack of this episode is 🔥🔥🔥
I've Loved this show since the very beginning and I really enjoy watching your reactions.
Amazing video once again
I’m so excited for you guys to get to s4 y’all are not ready!!! My favorite season in the show
TracyWardFilms, season 4A is my favorite season too.
@@ishajac3637 oh trust me I know exactly what scene you are talking about 😳🤫
3rd time watching this one, thought i'd let ya know, in case you haven't been told already, Rick's gun is a Colt Python .357 stainless steel finish with a 6 inch barrel. and yes, pulling the hammer back sounds even better when you're the one doing it. (i own 2, one stainless one blued)
You will love Season 4
Bye.
What a good episode and what a good reaction ! I've watched you twice, your excitement seeing the governor was impossible to resist 🤩🤗.
Trin's comments are short and kinda wide spread but yet smart and sharp, id love to sit in a table at a bar and chat you guys
🥰
If there's a 'filler' episode this season, this is it, and that should tell you all you need to know about the rest of the season.
speaking of later doing or watching side stuff, at some point after the episode you will HAVE to listen to and watch the music video "Jiggy Jar Jar Doo" by Carl Poppa.... it's freaking hilarious. it's a bad lip reading music video...
You NEED to watch the bad lipreading for the gov/rick scene 😂😂
Speaking of side content, they have a spin-off show called “Fear The Walking Dead”. It premiered after the season 6 mid-season finale (episode 8). It’s currently on its 7th season. Without giving too much spoilers there is inevitable crossover.
We are definitely interested in twd games and spin offs and everything or a second channel for sure
I'm soooo glad you guys liked this episode. This one gets a lot of flack for being "too slow" but it's so vital to this story. I remember for a time having this in my top 10 of all time, it's that good, until later episodes topped it.
I always love it when Rick says we’re going to war, so badass.
Ahhh Sunday morning With Rob and Trin..
Good morning Linda, we wish you a lovely Sunday 🤗🤗
This is probably my favorite episode because despite it not being action packed there is so much tension carried through the whole episode
Serious tension!
“Now kiss hug and make babies” precedes to do all of those actions that rob described
I’m so glad you are enjoying TWD as much as I have, love your reactions ❤️
knew you was gonna like this episode
Gaaaaah, I want more of these like, NOW! I've rewatched this series at least 20 times, and it's still so amazing. And watching you guys watch it for the first time is so exciting. I can't wait for more lol
Your reaction to the Governor coming out of the shadows was so funny 🤣
Many battles to come throughout this and next season and y’all are in for a treat! Many amazing character moments will be occurring soon!
Yes Well done! 🤣🤣🤣 ngl everyone needs a cheering section once and a while.
I love your channel, your both so genuine and likeable, and your reactions to the show match how I felt watching it, so I'm rewatching with you it feels like
Guys yes please play the tell tale games you’ll absolutely love them
Rick's finally getting his leader boots back on
I was so excited for Rob to get what he wanted. And Rob did not disappoint in his reactions.
Rick can be so intimidating lol, if he talked to me like that I would cry
I loved every single episode of the walking dead
i love y'all's reaction vids so much. i LOVE how invested you both are. it's like i'm sitting down with friends to watch this show 😂🩷youre quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel! i can't wait to dive into all of your other reactions (specifically the harry potter films, as a huge wizarding world fan 😂) once i finish the twd journey! keep up the amazing work!
Ive been watching since u were on episode 3, im always looking forward to these uploads because u guys have such a great dynamic and never just sit in silence with nothing to add like most react channels, keep it up 👍 :)
If you play the walking dead games I really liked to watch it and see your reactions. I am watching since episode 1 and looking forward to it every week. I am watching from the netherlands and sorry from my bad english.
Thank you Mark for supporting us and our future projects, and your english is perfect 🤗🤗
Another great video. Most things I like about these videos are your reactions to the show and appreciation. Most people find this episode a bit boring but i love it like you 2 do. And TWD has some more moments like these which never fail to amaze me.
Amazing vid, always a treat to watch.
About that "3 weeks earlier..." thing Trin was talking about...
Be aware, the show DOES that once or twice. But it's done well, so don't worry.
🤘😁
~Trin, 😅😅we were so excited about the Rick/Governor encounter, I expected to be blueballed 😅
@@robtrinreact2825 🤘🤣🤣🤣👍
you guys are the first ones I've ever subbed to on patreon, I've loved all the content on there! Still watching and loving these highlights tho :)
I would absolutely love to watch you guys play Telltales the walking dead.
Wish they added more of their reactions to the prisons scenes of this episode they were so good.
I'm getting used to this, watch every morning with my coffee. I look forward to it. Thanks!
Really enjoying all the reaction videos. They're releasing at a fast pace.
The Telltale Game are great. I'd liove to see your decisions.
Hi Rob & Trin….always appreciate & love ❤️ your reactions!! I have watch this series too many times to count… and never get tired of watching these episodes! You & Trin just add to these episodes with great commentary!! You’re in for a ride!! 😱👍. Looking forward to , Thursday . Have a great week. 🏹🫣
Still my favourite reaction channel on RUclips. Keep up the content peeps
