Billy was 39 years old here in 1982. He is now 71 and still killing it.
I got so obsessed with this band around 2010 I blessed they held 3 concert in my country. I was able to watch them live twice... ❤
Yes, this was live. This was about 1990. Paul Gilbert is the guitar player, he's one of the best. Incredibly under rated. The singer is Eric Martin.
Paul Gilbert is super popular he was the 4th fastest shredder back then.. I think it changed now. I wouldn't say he was underrated...

I saw them open for Rush twice in 1990 and 1992 respectively.

I also saw them open for Rush, I think they were the last opening band they had before going to one big show of just Rush. Saw them in Phx. AZ.
@@leemiracle6840 Roll the Bones was the last tour, that I saw them with an opener (Mr. Big). I didn't get to see the Counterparts tour because they didn't come to Denver, and I didn't have the means to travel out of state to see them. So I don't know who opened for that tour, if anyone. (I want to say that Primus was the support act on that tour, but between the 3 decades, multiple concussions and copious amounts of THC consumed in said decades, I could be mistaken. )
To my recollection the 1st tour to not have an opening act was Test For Echo where they did the entire 2112 first side.
The openers I remember seeing with Rush were Tommy Shaw, Mr. BIG (TWICE) and Candlebox. Sure there were others but I don't recall who.
