A guitar from dingwall nowadays would be incredible
Very interesting but an all-too-brief history. I hope somebody eventually writes a huge glossy book about the Dingwall company.
I have a Zebra from 1:27. Not the same one, but this one. This is a piece of art. Thanks, Sheldon!
One day I will fulfill my dream of owning a Dingwall.
I hope it will for you!!!
You won’t regret the wait.
Very Cool History lesson Sheldon. I have one of the 2000 afterburners. What a revolutionary bass for its time
I'm a guitarist. I don't even play bass. But a dingwall bass is one of my dream instruments
That is an incredible looking bass!!!! Anxiously awaiting mine to come in & looking forward to hear the sound!!! This one should sound smooth
Start making guitars again! Would love to have an 8 string by you guys!
Awesome design!
I can't wait until i save enough for an Afterburner II
What are your dream specs for that ABII?
@@DingwallGuitars 5-string walnut body, burl redwood top, ebony fingerboard, abalone inlays all under the high string, 3 pickups
Hoping to get my hands on a d-roc in 2024 😊
Have you ever considered making guitars again? I’m sure your name alone would make a guitar line successful.
no, at the moment,
I wonder if it is possible for Dingwall to produce a more affordable/attractive price range basses as their basses sound too good to be true and owning a Dingwall is the dream of pretty much every bassists including myself. I know that you pay for what you get, but the fact that a Dingwall bass cost around the price of a car is a bit too much for me. Maybe it is just my opinion, id love to buy a Dingwall bass at some point in my life since it is my dream to have one or even try to play on one, but id definitely knew that it is not going to be true in near future.
Their D-ROC standards and Nolly’s and Combustions range from about $1900 to 2700 brand new, and used ones in excellent to mint condition are obtainable for less.
I realize that is not cheap, but it is hardly the price of a car, at least not one I would feel safe driving.
