- In this video, Mike demonstrates the brand-new function added to SDRuno version 1.42 build 0817, and that is band framing customization.
This is one of many video guides from SDRplay - makers of the RSP family of SDR radios. See the full list of SDRplay videos and applications documents on: www.sdrplay.co...

You do nice work. Clear, concise, precise. Thank you. JR
Thank you, glad you enjoyed this video.
I am excited... my SDRplay rsp1a arrives today. I just found your videos. Thanks so much for doing these... I am sure I will be watching most of them lol. Thanks again 73 KY4K
My pleasure. Not sure if youtube allows external links. All the videos I've done for this channel are listed here www.sdrplay.com/sdrplayhamguides/
If the link is removed, google search "SDRplay Ham Guides"
Just pointing out a couple of mistakes I made in trying this that might help someone else not make the same mistakes.
1. After selecting Custom and then clicking on zero, I made the mistake of LEFT clicking instead of RIGHT clicking as you clearly pointed out. If left clicked no window opens. Don't do what I did.
2. I chased my butt noticing 2 things that did not match your video. 1. When I deselect a band it doesn't unframe the band. This is because I was not in Play mode. Don't do what I did. 2. The "IF MODE" select button on "MAIN" window isn't always available. In this case I have to go to settings, options, then input, then select which IF Mode I want. Is there a reason for this? I do wish it was always visible instead of having to go into setting menus each time or again I may be doing something wrong. Anyhow hope confessing my mistakes helps someone else and thanks for showing us how to do this.
Thanks for the heads up.
Great new feature
A very good feature indeed.
Thanks Mike!
No, Thank you for watching :)
Fantastic feature! Thanks de WO8USA🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Very welcome.
great function! then the appropriate filters and decimation are also activated automatically as in the case of the predefined band buttons? thank you!
You’re most welcome.
Thanks for this. I'm wondering if it's possible to redefine an existing band. Here in the UK, 2m is - for most folks - only 144-146MHz. And there is NO 220MHz band. Thanks!
Yes, I beleive if you right click the button that you original made as a custom band button
@@SDRplayHamGuides Thanks for the reply. What i actually meant to ask...is it possible to redefine the band edges that come with SDR Uno and to delete any that don't apply in UK? Thanks 🙂
No, the band buttons supplied are all hard coded and uneditable.
@@SDRplayHamGuides Thanks for the clarification 🙂
Whats the trick to make them automatically select the sideband as well?
The mode is not saved when using a custom band button.
@@SDRplayHamGuides thank you, I thought I was doing something wrong.
