Hi Mike thanks for the vid. You are making my Tmate look a little over priced! Great job on this. :)
The TM2 is a well known, ready to go controller. Mine is a Frankenstein of wires :) The TM2 can control SDRuno without SDRuno being in focus, This needs SDRuno always in the foreground. Its a fun project I have been working on. More featues will soon be added to mine.
@@SDRplayHamGuides I l iked what I saw that can be done without breaking the bank. Keep up the great work.
Is the code for this project released somewhere?
@@jeff-73 No, not yet.
@@SDRplayHamGuides Looking forward to your finished product. Quite inspiring and will try to follow along with my own build. Thanks for the reply.
Would be interesting to know what the protocol is between SDRPlay and an TM2, then we could make it work much better... I suspect that they are doing much different to you in reality...
The TM2 has a documented API that SDRuno uses directly to send and receive data .
This is just sending keyboard shortcuts already built into SDRuno.
@@SDRplayHamGuides Oh I didn't know that, I'll have to have a look at that. Is it widely available? Where can I find it?
@@stewartrv Contact ELAD direct for the TM2 SDK www.eladit.com/en/home
@@SDRplayHamGuides OK thanks very much. I guess an alternative might be to emulate the CAT control using an Arduino or Raspberry Pi zero... Also driving a Nextion screen from a Raspberry Pi would make development pretty quick.
What’s the purpose of LO lock? I have the DX sdrplay and it doesn’t indicate LO in the Main SP window
