Hey HardwareJunkie, we genuinely appreciate the honest review and feedback. While we believe our build, part, and support quality justify the pricing of our PCs we understand that there are certainly cheaper alternatives for those who are shopping strictly on a price basis. We love to boast that Support emails are typically replied to within 48 minutes, and your average time on hold is 76 seconds, which we believe is far below the average.
If you are seeking a PC company that truly takes pride in the parts we use, the wire management and PC quality, as well as our support offering we hope we will be considered.
At the end of the day we aren’t seeking to compete on price, but rather in quality, support, and overall experience!
PS - On a recent survey provided to perspective customers 92% of over 1000 respondents felt that our overall service justifies the price we charge. Maybe one day you will give us the opportunity to show that service off! Thanks again!

Apex does offer stock prices for most of its parts. The Apex Carbon for example, fully maxed with an i9, 3090, 64gigs of ram, top of the line gigabyte board, 2tb ssd, 1000watt psu, custom water cooling and enough RGB to blind a small child is only $5000 (including taxes). Its about $6k if you dont snatch up a 10% discount that they regularly offer. They also have a 15% for veterans. All in all Id say they are pretty transparent and they offer a lot of custom parts if you give em a call and ask for upgrades they dont list on the site.

AWD.it is the one I recommend to most of my UK viewers. Doesn't have amazing prices, but they are probably going to be one of your only options. If you are going for a relatively cheaper build their mirage system looks pretty decent, but just make sure to upgrade your RAM to 16GB and upgrade the SSD to a higher capacity since 240GB most likely isn't going to be enough.

sadly this video did no justice to the video the context or the description. You can read all the specs you want all day long, you can post your financial opinions all day long, it isn't until you show their performance aspects does anything make any kind of sense to future buyers , streamers or gamers. It is with that thought that I will be posting actual videos that show off or display their capabilities that will help buyers into is this a good pc company or not. From my perspective they are absolutely amazing, along with every other computer company. NOW the difference between Apex and many other companies is, you get a computer that works more than a week without needing to send it in because it overheated and messed up some of the hardware. They don't just let you get an upgrade thats going to fry the internals, they make sure that the system is going to work and keep working. I have heard so many complaints about digitalstorm computers failing because people want a 3080 ti and 32gb ram and all this but they do not upgrade the power supply, they do not upgrade the motherboard and so there is a conflict with the cpu the gpu and fact that the system itself cannot handle the power draw, but for here, I didn't read or hear a single bad thing or anything that would discredit the company into saying oh they are overpriced, if nothing else makes me glad for my decision.

I've never seen a PC fail for it not getting, and needing expert care, and precision of labour, sure people can mess up, but you compare pre-builds, with other intern assembled pre-builds, these people have never done it, get replaced bi-weekly, or they are just underpaid, worked to the bone and borderline abused people, and most PCs work, despite them spraying paste all over(not an issue now with non-conductive), being rough, breaking capacitors, cracking solders and bending pins, pushing on fans, forgetting spacers, and it goes on. Super overpriced, assembled by a student, or a part-timer, possibly filling in his aprrenticeship hourly quota, with even 15% up for parts compared to a retailer, that is already pays WAY under, than you do. it takes a lunch break to slap it together, and it just won't fail, if it runs, it won't. There are some lemons, but those are not really a case for your concerns. You could do worse, though, and they seem to do it right.

I’m glad someone is out here educating people to avoid that site and go somewhere else. As an aspiring content creator gathering the hardware I thought about using them but then realized I’d be downgrading for the cheapest pc compared to my $600 laptop I currently have. In the future if I were to make it to where I’m getting sonsorships. I’d never become an affiliate with them just solely based on the price tags and base stats.

@@pooferfish2850 I just went on their site from Heavy Burns, an RPG/ mod youtuber (and told him what I think of it), to see how they're really, and the prices are IN-SANE. Good 25 % + extra, or much more, for what you'd expect performance wise, and to get a functioning, tried, ready to go PC, set-up customarily.
Nevermind second hand (graphics is enough, the rest can be new, yeah) and the ability to get a 1000 dollar PC, and fish for cheap Windows, for the value of a 2400 dollar build of theirs.
There is quite some 100s of dollars "lost" somewhere in their service. If their cases were artisan, with ability to customize your piece thoroughly, the price range would be justified for such an item. They sell 1400 dollars worth of prebuild, for 2400+ with Windows. That's a 1000, where you could make do with 400 above MSRP for components, to set it up, and make money, if you have good deals.
Where is the value for 1400 dollars worth of new components at MSRP, for 2400. 80 dollars worth of stress testing, cable managment is "assembly and let it install-150 dollars", and setting up anything you want you could say 40 dollars, that's like 250 all work paid for dollars, say, for a mark up of 400, to close to even 800 dollars extra above "breaking even" , above MSRP price with WORK done, based on what their deal for Win, and parts are.
250 dollars, the rest is extra, 2400 dollar PC, with Win 11, for the value of 1400 dollar components, minus Win 11- 1600 dollars, you could sell and ship for 1800- to 2000.
Big, big mark-up. If you can't do it fast, and well, and not skin the customer, then why do it.
Why advertise, MY SERVICE, to build some poor sucker a snail PC, when he could have saved on twice the performance for the price, and several hours of his time, surely i'd want to save people from buying my services, if therte is nothing left for the parts.
You could do worse, but never would recommend. Cable fiddling, and stress testing, above what anyone can do in some hours, spending 1-2 hours doing the work, for surely 500 and some dollars of true extra. 2 hours of work, over an 8 hour span, and and 6 hours plugged in worth of electricity, where I don't have to babysit the PC, all this money above a sensible prebuild cost, for a retailer/build company, that has better deals than the man at the end..
      /end of rant

It's not like they make the PCs. It's a bit of good, qualified work, for which they charge, extra, extra-A premium.

Their prices are a complete ripoff. I've built my pc in 2016 without any knowledge of how to - with my friends' help via skype. Specs are following: i5-6500, gtx 970, 16 gb ram, 1tb hdd and some not cheapest but definitely not expensive other parts, total cost was about $800-900 at that moment. What these guys try to sell is just ridiculous. Yes, you can't get a gpu nowadays but you can still go search for a pre-built pc elsewhere and you certainly will find something better and cheaper, lol. I still use my 6 year old pc and won't change it soon since most games I still can play medium-high settings on 1080p and there is no opportunity to build a new gaming pc within reasonable price.
