A lot of women who tolerate it tend to have poor self-respect/self-worth and/or have never really experienced anything (anyone) else...some are too fearful of the financial consequences or dismantling the family unit. Yeah, someone I know at work fucked around with a married man and he got her pregnant (birth control pill wasn’t 100% effective). She put him on child support and now the cheating husband has to share his “rezources” with the baby mama by having 25% of his paycheck garnished. The cheater (who is exercising options) has a wife who doesn’t work. Maybe she had to start working now that a big chunk of her husband money is going towards child support. The baby mama however is in a relationship of her own. She doesn’t even need the child support since she’s a homeowner and makes over 6 figures. She is putting away all the child support funds in a savings account.

I'm monogamous nowadays. I wasn't for some years. I'm at least a 5% guy in the country I live. Some women competed over me, never complained I had options. Everyone of them were readily available when I called. If you're a desirable man, women will try to make you commit & overlook other stuff.

If I remember correctly, the context was that this Asian guy was rich and was caught up cheating by his gf… Some time went ahead and she kind of forgave him and the Asian asked Rich if he could make an arrangement with her about him dating while being discrete and being supportive of her… If that’s the case, as long as the agreement is clear and both parties agree to it, I don’t think is irrespective in any way. Baby boomers generation have more experience on this field and I have also applied this with my plates. When one girl asks the question “have you been dating others” or want to get exclusive I answer sincerely… They either agree or not, and that’s fair. It's true, even if on the surface level it APPEARS she forgave him, she really didn't, because it is betrayal, and now the relationship is altered forever. I have 3 friends that stay with cheating partners. Some have cheated for years and all of them have children with said partners.They have one thing in common they all got with their highschool sweethearts. I'm sure there's many " discussions " within the household. Then I have other friends that have caught their partners cheating and unleashed a wrath without any. Forgiveness,moved on quick and had no problems finding a new loyal partner.
It's always recommended to focus on self love and your self esteem as much as possible. If you are looking for love, one that has the chance of working out, you must 1st learn how to properly love yourself. This desire to find a person who you make responsible for making you happy is the reason why it usually ends up not working out with lots of disappointment. Instead, figure out ways you can self love so that you are not dependent on something outside of you to bear that responsibility. From that position, it is then that all the love you do for your own self, will result in the extra running over the edge of the full cup. It is what you had extra and chose to share it with people around you. When you find yourself in a situation where the other person feels draining to your energy, that is when you should consider disconnecting. If the love is reciprocated equally, then it should further add to your cup of love. If it's not, because that was extra love that you had to spare, it really isn't seen as something that you lost. It was going over the edge of the cup anyways and would have been wasted if you chose not to share it. The problem I see is that both sides are still programmed to believe in the the status quo, believing that someone, who you will never have control over because all people are entitled to freely chose for themselves what's best for them, is supposed to check off all your boxes and needs to make you happy. She, nor you, are required to do anything that you don't feel like doing.

Decent relationships (and this is true for all types of relationships) only work on mutual understanding, provisions, requirements, honesty, and agreement. If two individuals want to be on what is called an open relationship, it's ok if it's communicated. If they want to engage in a monogamous relationship, it's ok as well, again, if it is communicated. If one of them wants to break or change the relationship status and the other is fine with it, it's ok if it is communicated. The fact though that men can work around it and women generally cannot, which is typically a byproduct of both biological and sociological means, does not mean than it is an acceptable behavior. Just like it is not acceptable to break a signed or even verbal agreement in a business environment. If someone does so, then he/she is either incapable of even understanding his/her priorities, or is a scumbag, which is a red flag by itself, and nobody should be willing to cope with it if they don't want to. Yeah, someone I know at work fucked around with a married man and he got her pregnant (birth control pill wasn’t 100% effective). She put him on child support and now the cheating husband has to share his “rezources” with the baby mama by having 25% of his paycheck garnished. The cheater (who is exercising options) has a wife who doesn’t work. Maybe she had to start working now that a big chunk of her husband money is going towards child support.
The baby mama however is in a relationship of her own. She doesn’t even need the child support since she’s a homeowner and makes over 6 figures. She is putting away all the child support funds in a savings account.
