Thanks for showing us, Rob! A real beauty, you are a master at this! I bought my first metallic blue TV175 series 3 in 1965 (a slightly used 1964 model) so I know how they looked when new, and this one is ... better! Thumbs up!
Thank you Jens. You do know that you are a bit of a Hero to me right? I have fond memories of trying to catch you up on the motorway in Sweden after forgetting to switch on my petrol tap 🤣
Hi Rob, last time I stripped a Lambretta was in 1967 16yrs old, so my youngest brother has become a mod and big follower of scooter meets. Me being a motor tech (retired) has the job of nut & bolt restoration of a series 3 GP200 electric, your videos videos of the rebuild of the TV175 very informative.better than having to flipping pages of manuals every 5 minutes. Cheers Rob.
Loved the full story learned loads about my TV 175 S3 which is getting stripped down this winter for a complete respray no dought ill be watching it again when i put it back together
absolutely love this lambretta, the seriesis supurb from start to finish,. ive got the sticker on my tool box and got the TeeVee t shirt for christmas, love it and im 52 !!!
HAHAHA! it does actually stabalize a little when going 90km/h. Shame worthy replacements are not available. Maybe have to send it over to Jem Booth for a propper overhaul.
Watched the whole build and what a beauty you made there Rob, thanks for rekindling my memory and thank you for your honesty whilst upgrading important stuff. Your videos are honest informative and something for most to check back on when working on theses beauty's. Thank you and I look forward to many more.
Hi Rob, I came across your channel last week as I have just bought my 1st lammy in 50 years😮 a Servetta Li150 with a SX200 in, been riding my LML 125 (DR180 kit) since 2011 but now sold it. 1st saw the video on the QR2 Brake cable, ordered one and have watched all your vids on the TV175, love every one of them & very helpful indeed & also quite a few of your other video's, keep em coming please 👍👍👍
Just watched from part nine through to the finish, excellent! I passed my test on my SX200 in 1969 and I had a reverse pull front brake then! Speedo's are something else on Lambrettas though, only used as an estimate. I'm sixty seven years old now and I still miss my scooters.
Cracking series fella, just watched from the first instalment :D Great info on the workings of a Lambretta, I got my first Lammy last week, a restored 1967 Li125 Special with an AF Rayspeed 200 engine. I also have an 87 Vespa T5 Mk1 and have always been Vespa but so far loving the Li and with your videos, I understand a little more of how they are put together :) Thanks Buddy, really enjoyed these video :D Subscribed too!
Nice build Rob, looks like speedo needs looking at aswell as the clutch. Teething problems are part of the joy of building / owning a lambretta - keep up the good work👍
Hi Rob i have watched all your episodes building this Lambretta and thoroughly enjoyed them you have made a really nice job and the owner should be well pleased with your work. You live in a nice part of the world going by your other videos i will keep watching and hope to get my GT back on the road in a year or two if i get my finger out!.
Brilliant build Rob and always great to hear that music! My Serveta sprung an air leak around the manifold first time out and scared the hell out of me until I worked out what was going on...
I forgot to say I was interested in your comments about about low vibration levels ( for a Lambretta) ! I too was pleasantly surprised how smooth my 195 kit is, I think the Vape flywheel helps as its also a quality bit of kit. I also fitted a Casa Cooler, again a solid bit of engineering that helps the engine rev freely and is doing a great job of cooling my engine here in the Spanish summer heat.
A greatly enjoyable journey made more so for me by me mirroring your build for the last few months. I picked up some useful tips so thanks for that and thanks for the report on the front brake which has convinced me to wait a while. A certain dealer of long standing high reputation is currently developing an inboard disc that works and looks gorgeous. I'm not allowed to share the photos yet but it looks great and if it works as promised will be a game changer
Absolutely great story and really well shown and explained. Rob you have infected me with Lambretta and my next project is called Lambretta. Step by step but that's my goal for 2021. Thank you very much and I'm looking forward to more lessons from your kickback garage.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this build, I picked up some helpful info that has helped me with my own scooter which is always a good thing 😀 I have to say it looks fantastic and you’d be hard pushed to say it doesn’t look original. I hope you feel proud of it
The memory's i hold of owning lambretta's are not for sale...I''ll give them away... My first bike was a 66 starstream jseries 125 i purchased from a garage sale. it was in boxes and i quickly put it together and it was only missing the light ring, bulb and a couple of cables...this was 89' and very few lambretta's around. i quickly went thru 3 more with the last in 2013...i don't need to tell you about the good or the bad only that a lambretta is to a scooter boy like a football is to a striker...must have at ur feet. i now posess a simple 64 allstate that if i need to go to the grocer, one kick and im off! very nice TV, I miss the sound...
Your grandfather was working in the Innocenti factory in Italy for sure so this could explain why you done a fantastic job. Where did you bought the spare parts?
Rob this is a happy/sad video as it’s great to see it all done, but sad that It’s the last one as we’ve been keeping pace with each other for the last 7 months. Let me know what your next project is so I can go and find one to start....maybe a Series 1??
Hi Rob Very nice job on the TV175👊 I have a TV175 which was this metallic blue when new. I must do a complete rebuild so will follow your videos one by one ☺️ But to get starter I was wondering if the blue colour on the one you made is liike the original one ? and if I kindly could have the colour code so I can give it to my painter to get the project started 👍 Pleased to hear. Brgds Dennis, Copenhagen

@@kickbackgarage Most flattered ;-) Our nightly ride, from Gothenburg to the Eurolambretta 2008 at Hasslö, was really magic. It is on my top 5 list!
This scooter is brilliant, rob your a hero, this is my favourite lambretta colour,I hope to own a lambretta this colour at some point
Wow....! Stunning. (And don`t forget not to climb hills on full throttle...! Love it¬¬) Just wish I`d kept my TV175 back in `66...

It would be interesting to illustrate all the different options of stroke and bore kits available & different primary gear
& Gear box options available & the end results.

Lovely lambretta , just as innocenti intended 👍🛵
Superb! Glad to see the speedo works as Lambretta intended!

A fantastic looking, sounding and riding scooter....a credit to your good work. Really enjoyed the series mate....that owner is one lucky guy!
Thanks Steve. It's been a fun journey.

Beautiful build.
Have followed most parts.
Keep up the good work, BIG thank you from Sweden!
Takk Johan.
Thoroughly enjoyed this build, looks absolutely stunning. You've done a fantastic job on this, sir. Looking forward to future videos. 👏👍👌

Just slacked off the clutch cable, 2 minute job. The owner is thinking of sending the speedo to Jem Booth for an overhaul.
Rob, It has been a great, interesting and entertainment journey. Looking forward to the next one!
Takk!

I hope I have given you some inspiration Jan! and yes, get your scates on and get it sorted!
Brilliant build Rob and always great to hear that music! My Serveta sprung an air leak around the manifold first time out and scared the hell out of me until I worked out what was going on...
Thanks Tim. I'm used to it because my casa innlet rubber only last a couple of hundred km's. It's so bad that I carry 2 spares in my toolbox. ☹️
I forgot to say I was interested in your comments about about low vibration levels ( for a Lambretta) !

In that respect, the 195 kit is smoother than the 225.

What a winderful video series Rob, enjoyed every second!
Thanks. Save up some pennies so we can build you a m210
A fitting way to finish the job 👍🏼 Speedo made me laugh, my special does exactly the same 😀.Look forward to your next adventure 👏👏 Cheers Rob 👍🏼

fantastico trabajo e disfrutado mucho saludos desde españa
Thank you 😎
Nice job.
Thanks!
You gonna put a seat strap on it, Rob?
@@gavinevans4711 no mate. The lad who owns it is a tall fella so he sits where the strap would normally go and on long trips they get pretty painful 😂
@@kickbackgarage it's the only legitimate excuse for not having a seat strap!

Wow, thank you! Engine parts from scooter center, horncast from rimini lambretta centre and all rubbers and badges from Scootopia.
Hi Rob, great video which I have on while rebuilding my Lambretta GP..........which group is the music? (catchy tune).

It will perform a tiny bit better on a standard motor. Remember to jet up slightly.
Thank you Rob Have a nice weekend brgds Dennis
Looks like it pulled the tv gearbox well, Rob?
Yes, no problem. I have used a 175 box in 3 builds now. I think it's because the RT is a nice smooth and torqey kit.
Is that 60mph or 90 ? Got to love lammy speedos
🤣
