    Siren's Curse looks so cool! I want to ride it.

    I had a similar feeling about the lack of a crest on tilt coasters, but I think there will instead an equally thrilling free-fall effect going straight into that turn. That sensation of going from a standstill to dropping straight down should be pretty exhilarating.

      That’s a good point. Glad I wasn’t the only one thinking about the crest. Thanks for checking out the video!

    Great analysis as always! I agree 100% with you that Cedar Point did not need this. I think at this point, Valleyfair, Mich Adventure, SFA etc.. will have to wait until California Great America shuts down, then they can get some hand-me-down coasters and flats. Geagua Lake 2.0, maybe im looking to far down the road...

      Thank you for the kind words! That idea actually does make sense, hopefully parks like that will get something before that though, or hopefully CGA never closes… but if it does close, I really hope the smaller parks benefit!

    No, I don’t think this had anything to do with softening the blow with the issues TT2. That was just a bonus.
    In my opinion, this is what actually happened: After the deal with SF Mexico fell out, Vekoma probably offered Six Flags one last chance (likely at a big discount) to take it before they went to another competitor like Sea World or Herschend. Since CP probably has one of the highest annual spend budgets and currently had no major projects lined up for 2025 that we know of, it was the best possible park to put this in on short notice.
    All of the other big SF/CF parks already had big plans in-work or in place for 2025 and (or) just didn’t have the budget, time, or infrastructure to make this anywhere else. So, from a business standpoint, they had to take it now instead of possibly this going somewhere else outside of the chain. It’s only just icing on the cake that TT2 is gonna provide another 1-2 punch back to back and unintentionally provide a big "apology" for the 2024 season.

      I disagree but I appreciate you sharing your opinion! Personally, I don’t see how there is any other explanation for CP getting this coaster besides TT2. This is 3 coasters in 3 years, post pandemic. No way that was the original plan, Too much money already spent on TT2. Vekoma wouldn’t be concerned with where the coaster would go next if the deal with SFM fell through, SFM already had it and I’m sure some kind of money was already put down on it. It stayed within the chain so the money is coming from the same place. It’s an extremely compact coaster on a flat piece of land, it could have easily landed at half of the parks in the chain. It doesn’t really matter that CP has a big budget since the coaster stayed in the chain.

    Id argue most coasters go on for too long. That sometimes the slow ending take the ride down a notch.

      Depends on the person. I recently did Icon at BPB and the ending of that is pretty pathetic and pointless, but it depends on the person on wether they think it takes away from the ride or if it doesn’t matter so much. I fall into the camp that it doesn’t matter/take away for me, but I see both sides. I know I get annoyed when the SNF Visa has 10 laps, but that’s a little different 😂

    This color scheme definitely screams Harley Quinn. I do wonder if there's a way for them to re-paint a section of the track during the underground tunnel section into a blue color to represent the lake, especially if the gray and red is supposed to be the burning, collapsing ship you're on..? I dunno, that might be asking too much lol

      That’s actually a decent idea, it would certainly cost less than repainting the entire thing

    We're all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours... However you have clearly shown you have nothing to do with industry or business because if you knew anything about what you were talking about you would understand EXACTLY why cedar point deserves this Coaster more than any other Park, which is why they're getting it! it's about one thing and one thing only Capitalism! Return on investment and cedar point continues to set records for attendance last year (2023) and again in 2024, meaning that the new Six Flags corp and thier investors will get thier money back alot quicker while also rewarding/improving thier flagship and best coaster park...You are right about the rich get richer, and sorry my friend, but like "Old blue eyes" perfectly said: THAT'S LIFE🎶
    😂😂😂

      There’s a difference between deserving and justifying. It’s completely justified why Cedar Point received this, which I talked about in the video. IMO, no park anywhere deserves three coasters back to back to back, especially post pandemic

    • @huddyr1112
      @huddyr1112 Месяц назад

      Yeah I mean that just gets into such a different, completely unrelated topic imo. Based on your logic none of these parks "Deserve" anything and this revenue should be going towards the less fortunate and those in need. Especially post pandemic, I could say my wife didn't "Deserve" the forgien vacation I just took her on for our anniversary,. instead we should/could have given that money to a homeless shelter or a church etc....Im obviously exaggerating a bit but that's my point because following your thought pattern, any excess is not okay...And your statement that Cedar Point only MESSED UP is just completely WRONG AND UN FACTUAL, ZAMPERLA MESSED UP AND YES BY DEFAULT CP LET US DOWN AFTER MAKING A BAD WAGER/BET ON OUR ITALIAN PIZONES!(Zamperla) You are obviously biased and cannot see or are denying THE FACT that CEDAR POINT DESPITE TT2 AND THAT DIBAGAUL, STILL.OUT PREFORMED ALL THOSE "POOR, LESS PRODUCTIVE PARKS THAT TOU MENTIONED THAT FACTUAL MAKE THE CORPORATION SIGNIFICANTLY LESS MONEY, MY FRIEND THIS IS NOT A WELFARE SYSTEM. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE "FAIR" AND EQUAL TREATMENT FOR ALL PARKS!!! THIS IS BIG BUSINESS AND THE BEST PERFORMANCE/BEST EARNERS
      GET THE MOST IN RETURN JUST LIKE IN OUR REAL LIVES IN OUR Capitalist society....Now if you understand that and simply say you don't agree with capitalism I can also respect that. But it will never change the fact that this is how our country, operates and maintains itself! IF WE LIVED HOW YOU PROPOSE WE WOULD ALL LIVE IN MEDIOCRITY....NO THANK YOU NOT IN LIFE AND DEFINITELY NOT IN MY COASTER PARKS!
