i was dowloading a cursed forge mod and accidently clicked the virus ad for avg but this video completely saved my mental sanity. it worked as smooth as you said. thank you.

Their software acts like a virus, considering I've uninstalled it, tried to delete it manually, only to find out I can't even access it bc the app disables anyone having permissions to it, and it has full access to your PC. If this doesn't work for you and avg still shows up. Go to the physical location of the avg program and delete the program and flush you're recycle bin. That's what worked for me

If you want to delete in windows 7 then do as the instructions below. Press the power button until the PC shuts down And leave it for 20 secs. Next turn it on And n the options on how to open windows choose Safe mode with networking. Now go And delete avg in that mode and once again press the power button but this time start it normally And it will Not be there. It worked for me this way
Hi Question my I uninstalled AVG the normal way but have found that since the uninstall windows defender virus and threat protection will not start up no matter what I do.. I have also used this method of uninstall of AVG you have just shown but defender will still not work, I do notice that AVG is still showing in the registry.. I think there are a number of people using win 10 that are experiencing the same problem.. Any help on this issue would be great.. Thank you
Hard to believe you can't uninstall their crappy program that is supposed to be antivirus and you have to install even more of their crappy software to get rid of the original crappy software. I'd hate to see behind the scenes all the junk they are loading up on my computer. I finally got the antivirus to uninstall on it's own and my computer is much faster now, it's really amazing how much this garbage bogs down a computer. Windows Defender is all you need and that's what I've been running for 5 years with no prob on my laptop. The only reason I used this AVG is because it somehow installed itself for FREE !! ... without my asking.

Tbh, AVG is just malware. It won't allow your admin permission to delete it nor will it delete all the files once you use the uninstaller
It’s probably security measures to prevent viruses from deleting AVG, but it is super annoying.
