Thanks for this series. As others have done, I binged on all 5 videos. There is good information for scratch builders as well as kit builders. I like the idea of the small bottle with the narrow delivery tube. A little like the Revell Contacta glue tube. 🙂
Just finished "binge watching" your video series on Metcalfe kits - beautifully produced as well as comprehensive. I'm actually about to replace ALL my Hornby Skaledale buildings with Metcalfe kits, (with some trepidation), and your videos have boosted my confidence to make this leap ...
Well thanks, its great to know that they can help people, I make them because I enjoy doing it, and hopefully soon can get some time aside to do more. Again thanks for the feedback, and good luck with what sounds like a massive task!
Well, that’s truly disappointing. I have finally just finished installing 13 of these in my layout here in Queensland Australia in a dust free room that features regulated temperature and I must say I’m not excited about having to do this. In the next few years I think I’ll just buy a new point to tell you the truth. Very disappointing, but fantastic video a real treat to see what’s on the other side of the blue plastic. Great stuff.
How dissapointing. I just installed 13 new ones on a layout here in QLD dust free room regulated temp etc and I really don’t want to have to go through this anytime. Soon. Great video loved seeing what’s on the other side of that blue plastic?
@@allynwoodmodelling your right. I mean if one of mine failed I would simply just replace it and while it’s not that tricky to unhook it’s the frustrating part of reprogramming for default position. I have done it multiple times and I am halfway through editing a video regarding this yet still haven’t finished it because it seems like every time I do it I miss a step and I’m never sure if I’ve done it right how the simplicity I was so convinced that one company would come along with a nice RJ 11 or RJ 45 connection that we just plugged in and it was truly plugged in play i’m still waiting.

Thanks for the feedback, worth the $3 spent on them, and saves so much hassle
Cheers
