- Ansys has made the simulation of DED additive process easy though a specialized wizard in Ansys mechanical. This video walks through the process of setting up a DED additive process and explores the features and capabilities in this simulation package.

It is a nice demonstration. But there is no heat source setup in the DED wizard, right. Instead of that, the wizard just gives the maximum temperature (melting temperature, maybe). Is that a proper way to do the additive simulation?
I'm getting error as DED contact not found. Can you please help on this.

Followed all the steps perfectly but error of additive module not being present arises when gng for the solution, I did this in ANSYS 2024 R1. Can you please help me with this?

When I click open wizard in the DED process, the window that Pop up looks complete blank.How can I fix this?

Hey what do you mean? I found that a problem I experienced with the wizard was I could not find the next button so what I needed to do was make the tab really small. In a sense bunching it all the way to the top where I could only see the exist wizard and next (blue button).
