For anyone concerned about stiffness…I had a 2021 model 3 and a couple of weeks ago decided to get a 2024 model y performance. The ride is MUCH better than the model 3 I had with 18” wheels. It must be that ‘comfort’ suspension that Tesla has configured in the last couple years or so. The MYP is properly fast and nothing more is needed for daily driving. US specs…530hp and instant 500tq AWD drivetrain in a comfy family vehicle… there’s really not much more you can ask for.
Great video and insight to your vehicle, thank you for sharing it with us!

@@Deetroiter -Thanks!! Glad you noticed the difference on the suspension as I thought I was going mad. It’s so much better than my 2022 Model Y Long Range

So cheap to run. I have my MYP quicksilver now here in Australia. Our electricity even cheaper. From 0-100% costs me $6AUD to charge at home which is about 3 pounds.

Nice review. It really is a beautiful car, and the colour too. I agree though that Tesla do some things on the cheap. For example my boot on my model 3 can only be opened manually which is ridiculous for a car of it's age and spec. My previous 3 BMW's (years old) had a button to fully open the boot. The button to open/close should be standard on all Tesla's considering the cost of them.

if it were to go all the way up to the seats it would have to be that much longer added to the other end to make sure it goes as far under the back window as it does now. seats might not recline all the way if the trunk covder is all the way up to the seats because the other end has nowhere to go. unless they made the top to curve and have an indention so it could move up and back.

Yeah fair point- on your reclining seats point the single seat to the right hand side of the shot was reclined fully and there was still a 2.5 inch gap

had test drive in one , was twin motor , was pretty quick ,
ride was on the firm side , did not like having to look to the side
every time for speed , that car was made for a head up display ?
not that mad on its looks and as the wife is not a teki the lack
    of a few buttons , test drove a few cars , ionic 5 , ev6 , genesis gv60,
in the end bought skoda enyaq vrs coupe , ride is good in the enyaq
,and comes standard with heat pump twin motor and a 133 led crystal
    grille ha ha .
was looking a lot at cost as always like to buy my cars outright and
the slump in ev car sales mean some bargains around , bought
the enyaq vrs 6 months old off skoda as a demo with 3k miles on it ,
    list price 54k for 36 k ...............
not too bothered about speed as well into my 60s , the vrs is plenty
fast enough and has double glazed glass so very quite ...........

Not sure why you need an aggressive look? I’ve had a MY and now have a Highland M3. Neither do I want looking aggressive. Sleek and slippery yes but not aggressive. MY internal space is superb but the M3 is a much nicer drive. Feels half the size too.
