    Hey Pastor Mike, I lead a Bible Study 3 days a week and we are just chronologically reading through the Bible. I would absolutely love it if you would consider making like 8 to 10 short(6-10min) videos giving tips and tools on reading the Bible. Absolutely loved your Mark and Romans series. Any way, thank you so much for all you do and please continue the Work.

    Hey Mike. Love your content. It is helping me a lot with my journey through the gospel. One note I would make is in the beginning of this video you mention what the word bible means and that in Spanish it means book. Book is libro in Spanish. I think you meant Greek. I know this is an old video, but I think editing that might be a good idea for those who may be. Turned off by wrong information right in the beginning.

I don’t have a real church that teaches the true Gospel. I don’t even have a church to go to, sad but true. I’m so hungry to really learn how to really understand the Bible. I have so many different bible versions but my go to is the NKJV because I’ve been told is the closes to the KJV. I’ve even purchased a couple of children’s bibles in hopes of understanding it as a child. I need meat I can’t stay drinking milk. Please if anyone can give me advise what a person like can do. I’ve even asked the Holy Spirit to give knowledge wisdom and understanding to understand. Please help.

    I'm new to Christianity, but my mother tried to be a Mormon for a few years when I was young. The totally illogical beliefs of Mormonism made me into an atheist for a very long time, but I did have the benefit of learning the English language of the King James Bible at a young age.

    I always saw atheists talking about the Bible banning cotton/polyester shirts. Even while I was an atheist my immediate first thought to that was always, "pretty sure polyester is a modern invention not mentioned in 2000 year old books."
    From the tone it looks like it's asking people to wear simple modest clothing instead of elaborate tailored garments with advanced construction. I think technically that means a tracksuit is preferable to a business suit for church...

    I thought Bible was short for Bibliography, which means a library of books from a specific author, or collected together because they fit a theme.
    From what I understand it the Bible is the central Bibliography by which truthful literature emerges. The English language for example is built on the King James Bible, with the plays of Shakespeare as the secondary bibliography. Christ being the cornerstone of creation seems to have the Bible being the cornerstone of proper language as part of the fractal.

      @@defenestratefalsehoods You seem to be ignoring that the God of the Old Testament is the same God in the New Testament. Jesus was there from the beginning, and God’s plan was to always bring in all nations; even though he did choose Israel for a special mission. To bring Christ to the world. So yes, for that they were his chosen people. Also, nowhere did god ever preclude anyone of any nation from worshiping him.

      @defenestratefalsehoods Год назад

      @@davegink9222 which god of the old testament are you referring to? i can point out 3 changes in the old testament.
      the 1st god showed himself to abram in genesis 15 and sent him on a journey after making a covenant with him.
      the 2nd god appeared and introduced himself to abram in genesis 17 then changed him and his wife name after making a covenant with him which allowed her to have Kids and for some reason this new god also like d!ck skin so everyone had to be circumcised.
      then you have the divine council where Yahweh inherited isreal from the Most High and he went and found jacob aka Israel in the desert.
      deuteronomy 32:8When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance,
      When he separated the sons of Adam,
      He set the bounds of the people
      According to the number of the children of Israel.
      9For the LORD's portion is his people;

      @@davegink9222 you over look that the bible is mythology. As i pointed out on the last post deuteronomy 32 each nation had their own Gods which was their inheritance from the Most High.
      If one of the Gods of the bible did exist (because you cant prove or disprove the existence of any of the 25 million+ gods mankind has worshipped) based on the storyline he only showed himself to some of Israel. The ones he never showed himself to kept worshipping other gods.
