Thank you for your tutorials. I knit accessories like hats, socks, and scarves but have yet to knit a garment. I hope I am almost ready for a sweater. The more tips I can get the more confident I will be.
Hi ysolda great video. I have purchased several of your patterns recently because it's great to have discovered a modern designer using traditional methods plus. I do have problems getting yarns due to where I live and really would appreciate an in depth video on substituting acrylic yarn as that is all that is available here in Greece.
Love your tutorials as well as patterns, Ysolde. So clear and you explain the “why” of what you are doing. And I say “yes, please” to a video on picking up body stitches to start sleeves. I have knit a number of sweaters but I always feel unsure and hesitant every time I start my sleeves. Thank you!
Very useful explanations for new sweater knitters. I even got a good tip for the cast-on method : srarting IN the last stitch of the body rather then between the last two stitches. Thanks !
Thanks, this was incredibly helpful. I am knitting a sweater (raglan) for the first time in 20 years and I'm at this exact point! Such good timing! The next step for the sleeves would be great.
Videos are so helpful! I'm knitting your Anyday Sweatshirt and I've only knit sweaters flat before so this is a whole new experience. Any video tutorials would be very helpful! Do you have a video about starting with the selvage edge and picking up stitches? That was so confusing to me, but hopefully I'm doing it correctly so far. I'm trying to trust the process and follow the instructions implicitly. Thank you again for such a great video! ❤🧶
Loved this! Thank you! Yes a tutorial on returning the sleeve stitches to the needle; maybe it’s already on your YT! This was so very helpful! Appreciate you!!
Yes- very helpful! I have been knitting for awhile now but this has always been confusing for me because I am a left handed knitter (and proud) but I need to do the opposite of what right handed knitters do. Thank you!!
Your explanations are always so helpful and clear. I find that when I use the backward loop method to cast on extra stitches in the middle of the row, I cast on 2 fewer stitches than pattern calls for and then when I come around again on the next row, I use the "extra yarn" that I always have on the ends of the bridge to make 1 more stitch at either end of the bridge to use up that extra yarn and tighten everything.
Thank you for a detailed explanation. Its really helpful. When I get really stuck I watch videos through a mirror which reverses the process--as I'm very left handed!

I would love a video on how to put the stitches back on the needles and work the sleeve. Thank you.
Excellent instructions Ysolda. I'm doing exactly this right now on a child's sweater and it was very helpful.
I am working on a raglan sweater with instructions similar to this one. This is so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial.

Very helpful video! I would love to see a video on joining the sleeves to the body.
Thanks Ysolda. Just what I needed at exactly the right time. I'm starting my first jumper. Eeeep
