The best legendary roll I got so far is a 3 star two shot 90 percent reduced weight and increased bash damage plasma caster! I have now fully modded this one with the prime receiver and sniper barrel! So far, I am very satisfied :D
@@eatme6107 not really, look for Anti armor prefix if youre not bloodied build and bloodied if you are. Faster fire rate or reload speed and weight reduction are good along with extra dmg while aiming
To my knowledge, you can only unlock Gatling plasma mod plans by scrapping Gatling plasmas and hoping RNG favors you! For the Gatling plasma prime recover you have to kill scorched beasts and hope the RNG favors you a drop from them

The plasma caster is a very ammo efficient weapon. It is essentially a harder hitting gatling gun but with only 20 shots in a mag. I liked it but I no longer use it now that I am moving towards a heavy weapon explosive build. The plasma caster being an energy weapon cannot have the explosive legendary effect so it doesn't fit my build anymore. Instead, I use an explosive gatling gun :D It is a very solid weapon that I would recommend if you don't need exploding shots 👍 On the other hand, you could also buy T-65 armor or if you have enough raider rep you could buy the gauss minigun. I have a T-65 torso with the jetpack mod only as I mainly like the excavator PA. I just swap out the torso really quick if I need to jet pack somewhere. I am going to try and get myself a gauss minigun since it is an explosive minigun pretty much which combos with my build! Hope that helps a bit :D
Plasma Caster IMO is exceptional in VATS, if you don't use VATS that much or at all I'd stick with a BE .50 or get the gauss minigun. And of course, the new T-65 PA is amazing. For me, I use the Caster as a full VATS LUCK build, can head-shot enemies from miles away. This is just my piece, take it as you will =p
I'm at level 145 and a 9 in intelligence but can't get a level 1 science because there are no science perk cards. i complained to Bethesda and they said that's how it works. I bought the plasma caster and two mods and I can't build it. My Ticket to Revenge was my go-to weapon and after an update it lost all of it's legendary mods and is left with only the ability to stagger. After they stagger and you've used up all 20 rounds they come up and kill you while you're reloading. I thought this plasma caster was going to be the answer to my prayers. After spending nearly 1500 in gold bullion I'm so !@#$! pissed off. Somebody asked on Reddit,..."What level do I need to be for science? I'm at level 17." someone responded with "I think you have to be level 20." Bethesda sucks again. Update: Lauren with Bethesda wrote back and apologized for the frustration and said they are working hard to get a fix for the "Ticket" and shortly after I responded to the "That's how it works" reply from Bethesda and before Lauren so graciously responded,..I continued with the game and a science card magically appeared! Thank you Lauren.

I have a ghoul slayers plasma caster with 50% damage to ghouls 50% limb damage and your vats critical meter fills 15% faster, is that good

You have to have completed the main Gold Bullion questline in the game to unlock the elevator shortcut location
