@@azrael11 He explained it in one of his videos. He records the sound on his e-drums and puts it over the video of him playing the real drums. Something like this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm sure if you search it on his channel you'll find the video =)

I was curious of the same thing. There's a flub around the :50 mark where you hear the snare but he's hitting the toms.
I mean, he's obviously capable of playing these by the look of them. But I'm sure these are recorded separately and then he overdubs the video with him playing as closely as possible to the original track.
There's a video where he says how he does his covers. He actually has the samples from his acoustic drums, and via MIDI, he uses these samples on his electric kit, that you can see in the video
Samuel Bassani it is the first video that I saw from him I will search for the video that he explains it, I saw the electronic drums and I didn't knew he had his own samples. Great!
I thought he could have recorded his drums in a studio and just perform without mics in another room too.
