All the haters, you’ve got to give it to Christina, she’s a great presenter. Doesn’t matter who did it first, I’ve seen Remy”s ride and Rob Warner and Finn were amazing, but I just really like Christina’s presenting skills. She keeps it real. She deserves some respect.
I agree. Christina is as inspiring as anyone in the industry. A few years ago, at 69 years old, I was diagnosed with mild Alzheimer’s. My doctor told me to find something to do that would be challenging physically and mentally. Exercise of body and mind is important in helping to keep Alzheimer’s at bay. I ran into a Pinkbike video featuring Christina. She made mountain biking sound like it was helping a lot of people both physically and mentally. I than watched more videos featuring Christina. She inspired me to go out and buy a mountain bike. Three years later my Alzheimer’s disease hasn’t gotten worse. I lost a lot of weight. And now at 72 years old I am in the best physical shape of the last thirty years. Christina is a talented journalist and mountain biker who happens to be a very friendly and caring person. I heard other people tell about how much good she has done for her community. Pinkbike should do a video about her.
Seen some POV| footage and it looks amazing. Def the best Crankworx DH track and a contender for the best World Cup track. Up there with Val Di Sole and Mont Sainte Anne.
This track looks incredible! In my opinion the steepest and gnarliest DH track in North America (and quite possibly the world) is at Mont-Sainte-Anne and it’s not the World Cup track DH track 😉. That being said, a gnarly steep track with big features, this track takes the cake. It looks Amazing. Stevie would be proud, and absolutely PINNED 😃🤘👊
Plattekill in Roxbury NY is my favorite place to race DH Do a search for Plattekill Broken Tooth to see the best feature in my favorite race course from the early days of 2000s
@@pinkbike It's a really small town so it can't host large races, but it's the best place in america that I've ever ridden. My team mate and I bought a cabin on 1/4 acre for 4K about 2 miles away so we could stop paying for hotels and ride every weekend up there at platty. We used to host great parties with all the pros like Aaron Chase and Lars Tribus loving our team called WTR (White Trash Racing)
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.
want to see another amazing downhill course that should be a world cup stop, check out,''following Amaury Pierron et Frix Frix''.This course is in France and might be close to the limit of what the woman could ride which is what you want, they should be a little intimidating at first.Thats what progresses the sport and riding ability.
Depends on how many minutes it takes to get down. If its less than 4 minutes then it's not in the top 5. More than 5 minutes then it could very well be the best in the world.
That’s also famously NOT in North America. What I found funny is how one rider said that when a track is well built with purpose, then it’s not scary at all. Contrast that with all the riders talking about how scary Hardline is and it shows that maybe it isn’t the best built track there is. 😉

Thank you! I appreciate that a lot, and it takes time to edit free videos haha easy to forget I suppose -Christina

@@pinkbikeAwesome haircut, btw.
In another video about 1199 I thought I heard Mista Ed - and here he is! 😅
I hope he brought his EdBull Media equipment 😀
Loving all this 1199 coverage. Can’t wait for race day, that is one hell of a track!
This was an amazing track preview... Thanks PB & Christina!

best DH track.....Fort William World Cup DH Track classic!!
Looking forward to seeing the racing and all the lead up on PB
Need to point the camer a down the trail more. Don't need specific angles or anything but I would be stoked to see the trail and hear the voices 😉
Amazing track. Outstanding job by the builders.

What trail at Mont-Sainte-Anne? Just curious, not that I would ever ride it lol
So sick! 🔥
More natural, less motorway. I like it 😀
A bit of man made and bike parky stuff is fine but this track has some serious steep tech!
In other words, its time to take it up a notch and find some new venues.put Leogang and lenzerhiede on the back burner.
Hold up, this is Cathro's segment?

New York seems a lot gnarlier than we give it credit for -Christina

Sooo awesome epik cool trail and video
Thank you! Such a treat to see this track in its' early days -Christina
Don't really feel like this was a track walk more like a track talk not showing any lines maybe saving that part for Ben but Christina is awesome.
When they gonna do worlds cup racing racing there?! That be a great big for Canadian riders!
That track looks like it’s the best DJ track in the world😍. It should be in the uci World Cup!
2024 World Cup, fingers crossed 🤞
Slopestyle would be an intense show 😂
eddie masters believes in the special meter

My name rhymes with Mark - Shark the Mark
Show us the track please camera guy.
so like what would be the risk and reward a pro downhiller would take by going over this pebble instead of stopping and walking over it? 🤓

Great vid guys! My partner was wondering about Christina's knee brace, custom or off the shelf? Which brand? TIA😊🚵
It's quite the track, but I still think it has nothing on MSA, val di sole or Snowshoe

We shall see soon! Should come in right around 3.5 I believe, in the dry, with the final section now -Christina
No its not the gnarliest DH track out there. Red Bull Hardline in the DYFI Forest in Wales makes this look like a blue trail.
That’s also famously NOT in North America. What I found funny is how one rider said that when a track is well built with purpose, then it’s not scary at all. Contrast that with all the riders talking about how scary Hardline is and it shows that maybe it isn’t the best built track there is. 😉
would love to see a video of you in it
Track looks awesome but that edit was schizophrenic. Hope your knee didn't give you too much grief Christina ❤️
hey pink bike, Lewis Buchanan beat you to the punchline yesterday with a track walk
Cool story bro
Rémy Metailler rode it and posted the video two days ago. Cheers.

Too true in UzK only posh girls use “like” as the most descriptive piece of vocabulary 😂😂
