    Thank you for this! I also listened to your first podcast episode. It’s so valuable to hear your journey and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.And to hear your partners views too! I look forward to more podcast episodes. I’m trying to educate myself on neuroplastic pain to help my son get out of it. I don’t know how exactly but I’ll keep striving.
    Thanks, again!

      I'm so glad our podcast was useful. It is wonderful to keep hearing about how you are trying to help your son. Eventually I'll have my partner come on my channel to discuss the perspective of a loved one.

    awesome stuff again tanner!!! i did have a question in terms of what if the emotion is too strong to be able to sit with it. what if it's overwhelming in the moment.

      If the emotion is too intense this would be a good time to use strategic avoidance!

    Any difference between deep-seated anger (rooted in hurt or feelings of injustice) and reactive anger (like, say, road rage) vis-a-vis Mind Body symptoms?

    • @painpsychotherapy
      @painpsychotherapy  Год назад

      This can be the case, but it depends person to person. There can be anger about a overwhleming/abusive event which can be a trauma response in the nervous system. Also there can be anger about smaller day to day events, which can be a sign the nervous system is dysregulated. Again I can't say for yourself what is occurring due to not knowing your case fully.

      @@painpsychotherapy I was asking if a personality type that is prone to being triggered by annoying day-to-day events -- the kind of anger that quickly dissipates without leaving a simmering afterglow -- lends itself more to Mind Body issues than the lasting embers of deep-seated hurt or injustice one can neither forgive nor forget. Thanks anyway.

      @@dr.amitabhamukherjee3601 Oh sorry I get what you are asking now. I am uncertain if one would more likely trigger neuroplastic pain than the other. I am of the belief that both types you described could trigger and perpetuate neuroplastic symptoms.

    I have justifiable anger. I just feel so sad when I think of what happened and so ... "This is what you can expect from stupid people who pretend they are not I.e. doctors and the medical system.
