The Revair has been thee game changer in my natural hair journey. I can blow dry all of my hair in just 15 minutes using a 6 level tension setting, high heat, 6 sections of hair at 90 seconds per section. I'm able to assess my ends properly, trim my hair (or have it trimmed at the salon) or style my hair from that stretched state. Heat protection is used every time I blow my hair w/ the Revair and I haven't experienced any heat damage. I can get the blow out to last for 2.5 weeks with no reverting. I'm excited to try it on twists and braids to see if the drying time is similar. I'm also curious to see how the coiled ends of twists/braids will hold up using the Revair. I've seen a few videos of people using Revair to stretch a wash and go. Looks pretty impressive. Edit: Forgot to mention I use the Chi Iron Guard heat protectant and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum for added silkiness.
Thanks for sharing all of that. I'm sure that will help people make a decision as to whether to buy or not. I've not seen anyone use it to stretch a wash and go; now that I've got to see because I am a wash and go girl. I need to pick up some CHI heat protectant since all the girlies rave about it. Thanks for tuning in and sharing.
Helpful Tip: I see this is an old video but the manufacturer tells us to dry our hair in a downward motion to close the hair cuticle not dry in an upward or outward motion which will lift the cuticle and diminish the amount of shine in our hair.
I’ve had my RevAir for 7 months, and I ABSOLUTELY Love it!!🥰 If Your thinking about Buying it but Hesitant because of the Price, I’m telling you it’s a Nice Hair Appliance and worth the Money. Especially if you have type 4 hair…
I have the original Revair and will probably buy the smaller updated version later this year. I use it most wash days as I normally stretch my hair so that I don't get tangled ends. I do about 12-16 sections for 1 min each, using the chase method (that comb they provide) as I pull the hair out of the wand. I do high heat and suction of just 4. For my hair that gives me the straightest ends without frying my hair or leaving the scalp damp. I lose so little hair each wash day. I can't imagine ever blow drying my hair any other way.
After using the RevAir more, I started using the chase method, as well, and it does get the ends a lot straighter. I also move the wand side to side at the root and it really gets the roots straight.
I luv mine. Spray type heat protection made my hair stiff so started using the skinny serum. That makes it soft. I use high heat and level 5 or 6 tension. Less breakage than typical blowout. I Use it almost every wash day (i am not a wash and go type of girl) This was my best black friday purchase.
I literally just left the salon and my stylist used the RevAir on my hair. It looks like I have a silk press, I'm so shocked! She blew my hair out so she could trim my ends. I'm not used to having my hair this long but I will say it works!!!!!!!
I have been loving the revair lately. It's perfect for stretching my hair out. It didn't give me the silky blow out look that I usually go for, which I loved for styles post drying. I think it's a great investment, especially if you have kids. I can see me using it a lot in the future
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the RevAir; I'm sure it will help someone who is reading the comments. I also plan on getting a lot of use out of it. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for your honest feedback, Rachelle. Your results for your first time are fantastic and as you learn what is best for your hair, it will get even better. 🤩
I love my RevAir!!❤ i will definitely try using Sik Elements hair protectant but will put the extra filter liner 😅n to prevent filter from getting clogged with product
hi rae 🤗 great demo and review. your results were very nice and i could see how the different heat sprays affected the outcome. neither were bad, but it makes sense that the oil-based product would give you a slightly softer/straighter result. ive been going back and forth on buying a revair since the first version came out. i very rarely blow dry my hair (maybe once every 3 or 4 years 🤣😂), so i can't justify the expense for me. shout out to revair for partnering with you. if the company sent a dryer to me, i would definitely try it. 😁 tfs
Hey Healy, to be honest when I went back and looked, the first spray was a volumizer, so that it why my hair was a little more fluffy...smh🙄 I won't be using that again. Also, the dryer can be used for drying twists, braids, extensions and more. I think I'll get the use out of it for drying my twists and stretching them, as well as stretching my wash and gos. Now I don't have to use the blow dryer. 😁 Thanks for tuning in.
I have the original version and I love it. This last time i used the evay nyc mask and left it on for a few minutes. Didnt use anything additional on my hair and detangled with widetooth then small tooth comb and I took smaller section. That thing is a gem, hair super smooth. Set a 90 seccond times per section on level 6
I am so glad you did this video! I have been a little hesitant because of the price, but I’m thinking about taking advantage of the discount. I love your honesty and the informative comments and advice you share. Keep up the great work😊
I like what the Revair does, creating stretched hair, but I only see myself using it a few times a year. I wish it was more affordable. Not sure I can justify to myself spending that amount, but it's tempting. Also, your hair came out great and looks very healthy.
I'll be waiting for the twist out experiment. That might convince me to buy it. I don't stretch or straighten my hair that often. Thanks for putting in the work!
Beautiful results Rae! I have two girls with thick hair which this would probably be a Godsend for me. I would need to budget for this and I’m wondering if it would be on sale for Black Friday 🤔
Oh, yes, it would definitely be a big help to you. I'm not sure if it will be on sale for Black Friday, but everything else is, so maybe. In any event, they do have payment plans in case you want to get it sooner. Thanks for tuning in.
Bummer; maybe you and your sister could share🤷🏾♀️With it being on sale and my discount, now is a good time. BUT, if it's not in the budget, don't get it!
I really want to purchase a Revair but haven’t had a chance to. I’ll definitely try to get it before the New Year plus my daughters have very thick hair so this will help . I used to watch a young lady on IG she showed using it to stretch out her wng. It’s definitely on my list. Ty for the review ❤
Thanks Rae! This is definitely on my BF list ! I definitely have heard its a game changer for getting the roots straight. My main reason for the investment is typically when i get to the hair salon with stratch hair prior braids, and i usually end up getting upcharged since they had to re-blowdry my roots...... also thanks for the insight on drying twist and braids! Give me more opportunities to use ! Thanks for the review!
Wow you did a great full detail review on this Revair. It looks very easy to use. I hope to purchase this dryer one day. Your hair looks nice out. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Rae 😮 wow that’s awesome you received the Revair to review. I haven’t blown out or straightened my hair since going natural 2 years ago, but since it was wash day and after seeing the video I blow dried my hair and did a stretched twist out using Kinky Tresses and will take down tomorrow. I hope my second twist out results are better than the first one lol. I will let you know how it turns out. I can’t wait to see the length of the stretched twists 🫣. If I wore my hair blown out often I would definitely invest.
Hi Shelle! It took me a really long time to stretch my hair after going natural. I think it was like 6 or 7 years. I still don't do it often, I think I did it more in 2022 than any other time. The good thing about this is that you don't have to use it just to stretch your hair to straight. Some people use it after a wash and go to stretch their curls so that they get a little more hang time with their curly hair.🤔 I think I'm going to try that soon. In any event, it is an investment so making sure you can get good use out of it is important. Thanks for tuning in and don't forget to let me know how your twists turned out.
@@NaturalRaeRae Hi Rae my stretched twist turned out great and I love the softness of my hair and the length was a plus 🤗 but with no gel the twists got a little more volume and puffiness to them by mid day but they were still cute. I just finished retwisting them for my nightly routine. I will try a regular twist out next week using a gel and stretching after I twist them for the length. Thanks for all your videos and tips that really helped me with my wng’s and now my twist out 😂
It seems like you need longer hair to use this product? Otherwise a blow dryer with comb attachment would work best for those if us with short hair? I need to find a video with someone a short afro using this.
Hi I used my Revair for the first time on my 4c hair and it was a disaster (took me 1 hr 40 mins and I still end up using my hand hair dryer) but that's because I didn't know what i was doing. I did it on 7 and high heat but I may not have left my hair in long enough
Oh no! I definitely shouldn't have taken that long. Next time, use small sections, only use a light leave-in and/or heat protectant (no heavy products) and put hair in for up to 90 seconds. Make sure to chase with a comb when pulling hair out of dryer. Hopefully you'll get better results with these tips. 💛
@@NaturalRaeRae So after using my revair again I realize a great deal of time was my detangling. and also I had it up too high, 2nd time I used it I tried lower levels and less time, and less product. and my hair was softer. I'm going to Sally's today because I finally found your video again and going to get the products you used. Thanks!
@@Ashloiam yes, you hair has to be detangled before using it and use small sections and heat protectant. I'm glad you are finding out what works. Don't give up, you got this!
Hi! I was just told that the promo code can't be used on the current sale they are running. However, the sale price is lower than what my promo code would've given you had you tried to purchase when I first uploaded the video. I'm sorry for the confusion. 😞
Hi! This was brought to my attention yesterday and I reached out. They said because the dryer is on sale that my coupon code cannot be stacked on top of the sale. My code will be available tomorrow to use, but in all honesty, the sale that they have going on now is better than what you would get with my coupon code after the sale. I hope that helps.

I have the older version and I've used it maybe 5 or 6 times in the last 5 or so years. It better last me all my life at the price of 500 dollars 😅.

Just purchased the new one for $341.
