This was bad behaviour. Period. No matter what, you cannot demean your staff in that way, especially when people look up to you as Monarch. The Queen would have never reacted in this way, she would have likely made a joke about it. The fact that people are making excuses for Prince Charles actually shows how patriarchal and racist our society still is- if he wasn’t a white man, people would be outraged. Imagine if Meghan did this… and I say this as someone who doesn’t like Meghan Markle, but as an example, if she did this, the media would crucify her rather than make excuses. The same can be said for any woman, or person of colour- we are not allowed to have transgressions when we are stressed or unwell, but white men can behave however they like and whole world will come to defend them. Sad.

You asked ‘what stress could a king have?’ Wow are you really that naive and stupid ? He’s the head of the commonwealth. He has responsibilities and duties towards his subjects. Furthermore, you’re an Indian, probably still residing in some state in India. Worry about your country and it’s politics. If you can’t mourn with someone who’s mourning the loss of his mum, you’re not human. Have empathy and sympathy. Try to understand what I said if you are literate enough to do so. I don’t have time for a comment war so don’t bother to give me a senseless reply. Thank you

actually I could care less about the monarchy issue. after all, it isntthe medieval times where the entire nation of peasants are literally bleeding for the throne.
today's monarchy is just a figure head, a happy symbol for the Brits. They dont have real power, they dont make political decisions, they arent even that rich off tax income. the majority of their wealth is not from direct tax income.
So I dont care about them.
but here's the thing.... if my son acted like that, if my assistant manager acted like that, if my waiter acted like that.... I would be critical of him. I would teach him why he shldnt act like that AS A PERSON.
you know what is sad? what is sad is that you judged this video on the basis of his being a king.
in other words, youre saying a position, a title makes it possible that a person can behave like that righteously.
in other words, youre no different from pro- or anti- monarchs.
crazy, isnt. it? just when you think you managed to see beyond the average peasant here.... someone else has to point out your hypocrisy, your barbarism.

Imagine dealing with grief and all the bureaucracy of being a royal, walking behind a coffin and everything else- it’s just exhausting seeing how much this person is bearing at his age. A pen is the least of his or anyone’s worries!

I'd be ashamed if i were one of them and had not ascertained everything. Lucky his chair didn't break. What I wonder about is, why he deosn't get himself some good quality treatment and that nobody seems to suggest it to him? If I were his servant, I'd find a good way of suggesting that.

He has a mountain of GRIEF and RESPONSIBILITY on his SHOULDERS to contend with right now. You are lucky you will never have that burden to deal with. He is now our King, and most of the country will support and understand that.

I have lots of respect for him right now, especially considering he's able to hold it together given all that's happened this week. Also, I don't think he didn't "get angry" he just gestured to fix the table.

At 1:07 the way Camilla looks at William.
It’s either “oh dear he’s angry“ or it’s “oh why can’t things be done properly by paid staff” or possibly it’s “oh William I’m sorry. Those are your gifts to him” Who knows.
