Very cool car. Love the copper color accents parts. When you see all the parts spread out you get an idea of how much work is involved in this project.
Absolutely loved the restoration, not so much on not seeing and listening to the individuals working on it. Compressing this into a short video was good but I think hearing and actually seeing the people putting the work in really does show that doing these things are no walk in the park and they take a lot of patients and dedication. Really fantastic restoration but it would be good to congratulate the actual people on it.
Wow!!! Amazed at the engineering for its day. Had a '49 club coupe in '60. Your attention to detail insistence on thoroughness is awesome. Going to see the '49 next- thanks!!
Had a 53 Merk back in early sixties!! The flatty ran like a kitten!! Bought it for 75 bucks! Ran it through the car wash, and it looked like new!! Two tone red and black!
It's good to hear that people are taking in these rusted, abandoned vintage cars and restoring them, there aren't as many of like 1910's to 1980's cars around now. As we know the numbers of all types of vintage cars are slowly but surely decreasing and if people aren't taking care of vintage cars their numbers will continue to decrease until they're either rare or until there's none left in the future.
This car is a beautiful, good looking street machine. They don't nake em like this anymore, that's for sure. Can't beat em either. Beautiful detail work, beautifully put together, and can't wsit to see the final and complete results. Thanks much for showing all of this, very enjoyable, love them old cars and trucks.
I love everything but the final paint! I thought they would paint it the color of the rims ! You had me right up to that point. But AWSOME AWESOME !!!!!!
I agree, I don't like the color at all. Would have preferred, since they put in all of that time effort, to have seen it returned to it's factory condition. Still, to their credit, they didn't Mexicanize the car and turn it into a rolling, hopping pile of junk!
The rear brake shoes are back to front. These self energising brakes (caused by the rotation of the drum) have the brake shoe with the most lining material at the rear. Check the wear after 10,000 miles and you'll see. The helpful Aussie.
Parabéns Equipe de verdadeiros Profissionais daqui do Brasil. Posta mais videos 🙏👍👍😘❤
DAMN nice car like that you use as many of the original pieces but upgrade where needed I myself don't care if car is original or restomod as long as it is back from the dead that's something that other people should appreciate
Your tha man dude! Good job! I know what it takes to restore. I had a rusted 56 f100 and a 58 Fairlane, I had to modify because of the lack of oem parts. But still sold for more than I had in it. Good luck.
I love that body shape from the late 40’s early 50’s, and this is a superb job. The paint choice and quality of the work is just excellent, the finished car looks stunning. Well done !!
Why didn't you finish the build? Wanted to see the finished job. I drove one of these in my college days. Hope you fixed the vapor lock problem on this one. Surprised you didn't chop the top- most of these have chopped tops.
the 51 Merc was the holy grail of 50s hot rodders The only car that came close in styling was the Hudson Hornet which had a similar body style but was much faster. I don't remember seeing any customized Hornets.Hell, there's a lot I don't remember A chopped and channeled Merc was truly beautiful
Very cool car. Love the copper color accents parts. When you see all the parts spread out you get an idea of how much work is involved in this project.
How do people not like this color? The entire set is just badass and vintage.
Absolutely loved the restoration, not so much on not seeing and listening to the individuals working on it.

GREAT TO SEE THAT PEOPLE OUT THERE, STILL HAVE THE PATIENCE AND SKILLS TO DO THIS IN AN AGE OF COMPUTER RULES ALL.
Beautiful work , floors , trunk and all leading indicators of real craftsmanship.......well done

I would expect black color better for this car
Awesome build! Looked so much better with the black high gloss wheels at the end.

If you restore those cars you can get a boat load of cash for it
very cool car , nice work .my dad had a 50 or 51 while stationed in groton ct .,in the mid 50's said he used to race it on a dirt track there .
Such a beauty. Wonderful work on her. I love cars albeit I never drove one. LOL. Only as a passenger.
Go get in the driver's seat
You are wonderful .. Take advantage of returning the old and take advantage of it
Yes!!! PERFECT!!! I have the old SKODA 1966 year old without restoration.......
The owner is super cool! He sent me his fuel door since his was kustom. My 51 has a piece of that car now!
Colors are outstanding for this car. Thanks for not chopping it up too much. Looks amazing.

Unlike other restoration channels you restored a car
Vary good project. Need repairs more, thanks
Love the flat head V8. As old school as it gets.
Wow great transformation project
It's good to see one that's not butchered or chop!..

Thanks. I love the late 40's to early 50's.
That’s it I would’ve loved to seen the whole thing through right up to the paint.

New friend from philippines,
Wonderful project. Would have enjoyed seeing some action video of the process rather than before/after parts alone.
DAMN nice car like that you use as many of the original pieces but upgrade where needed I myself don't care if car is original or restomod as long as it is back from the dead that's something that other people should appreciate
these pvc pipes what an awesome idea!
Doggone beautiful job on that restoration! I was born a year prior to that manufacture model and as a kid loved those beautiful metal creations!
Thanks brothers for sharing good work quality 😎

I love that body shape from the late 40’s early 50’s, and this is a superb job. The paint choice and quality of the work is just excellent, the finished car looks stunning. Well done !!
Great Save & Job.
It's nice to see an original Merc without a neck breaking hack and slash roof chop.
I agree, I prefer the original factory condition verses a clown car.
Great job. Would have loved to see it in origanal condition though. But great job anyway.
no words what a craftmanship chapeau

The new looking painted parts. Did you just paint them, or did you sand blast them or something as prep? They look great so they must be well prepped.
Great to see a talent and a love at what you do! Fantastic job.

Great job
This is so cool! It actually motivated me to start making radio restoration videos
Very good effort.
51 Merc is one of my favorite older cars. Question is why. Clearly is is a project someone funded who had the mega funds to do so.
