- Finally painted!!! We got some major progress made on the Gtm supercar and this sucker is looking absolutely amazing! We are super happy to have this thing finished soon and before you know it, it'll be ripping around the streets in style. Thanks For Watching!!!

That hood looks great! Glad you kept the original color combination now that I see it bright and clean. I like your idea about the black around the lights also. That bold color could use some little accents like that.
I've gotta admit, I've changed my mind....I chose red, with the same colored stripe....but that fresh green looks "dang good"!

Watching you guys paint is always so satisfying. My favorite part. Once that clear went on at 20:00 the whole color came to life.

I'm always amazed at the transformation that happens when the clear is sprayed. Hood looks amazing! This GTM is going to be so sweet. I'm hoping one day Billy will do a total custom paint job like 70's style.

They mentioned on one of their videos, the paint both will be at the side where that gate is at. If you’re facing the garage door from outside it will be to your left.

That paint turned out great, stripes were spot on. I’m a bit surprised you didn’t lay down the black on the headlights before clear coating it. I’ve been saying all along you really do need your own paint booth. That way it is always available and will always remain clean, little to no trash in your paint from there on out.
They should build one. Rent it out when not using it

yeah , finally a paint job that doesn't require 3 tries to get right or a complete cut and buff to get out all the mistakes ... he's only been painting for like 4 or 5 years 🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️ i'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that it's just a hood?! also who knows if the stripes actually line up and they didn't actually show it finished so you're just taking his word for it
@@Hard_Right - Well yourself being a professional painter you would of course know all the reasons painting a vehicle can turn out bad. And after all you of anyone should know if the stripes turned out right or not. Give it a rest no one likes to read sarcastic comments from a sarcastic person now do they? Certain types of paint can turn our bad if you haven’t used a certain brand before. And not having a paint booth that is in temperature control Ed environment or being able to control its humidity is another reason for paint not to be successful but of course you know all about this. Not knowing how long to let the paint flash or the primer is another reason for the paint job to fail. They need to take a course on painting cars or let someone else do their painting unless they stick to small things like this hood. So quit being a criminal in regards to their painting but maybe you could offer to become their master painter. Thanks

You guys would be amazed at how much better the shop lighting would be with more lights. Looks like you have about 1/2 as many as you need. ( 9 more lights will help a lot)
Great job guys!!! Can't wait to see the finished project. I'm finally finishing my 1981 Chevy Silverado long bed after being hospitalized from bad reaction to cancer medication. But I'm back and raring to get done so I can start driving my truck again after 4 years.

Expect to see that Pigeon back one day. It's a domestic racing or homing pigeon. Sometimes these birds become exhausted and need just a few hours or days to rest or feed before they head home again.
Please continue to do more kit cars, K1, SLC, GT40, other models from FF. This build is awesome. The paint looks amazing

The almond crème lines just have like such a depth to them. Hard to explain but it just seems like they’re built straight into the hood vs painted on. Looks great
Thats a great idea, quick jacks in a paint booth! That would make it so much easier to get the lower areas - rockers under the bumper lip etc.

Great video. They are all top notch. I am concerned about you not selling any of your completed builds. You don't want your shop or houses turning in to used car lots. You need to put them on Bring a Trailer, or some other auction site. That way you will see what the market value of your cars really are.

It's most likely their little sister is the one behind the camera.
I don't know who it was but they did a great job, keeping the boys framed properly and switching smoothly back and forth between them. If you need a camera man, hire them.

If a bird has a plastic or metal band or ring on its leg, the owner can be traced through one of the national pigeon organizations. If the bird you have saved is a fancy show pigeon, the owner is probably very near where you originally found the bird

That green really is a stunning colour , glad you kept with it
When you paint the headlight buckets black I’d also tape and paint those fins on the hood black and when you paint the car I’d paint that grill in the roof scoop black as well. That grill in the roof scoop being body color and matching the stripes really hides it, painting those parts black would really accentuate it and make the car look that bit more aggressive and modern but keeping that color scheme looking classy.

That gloss clear coat made your paint job POP AND POP!!!!!!!! And keeping the same color is most definitely the way, instead of changing the color. Plus if and when you sell it, if you have a numbers matching car. Keep the original color is where you get the most money for it!😮😎
That stripe job reminds me of the one I did on my '71 Camaro! I got a stencil kit from Year One and did the stripes like the Z28 Camaros. The stencil kit was just the ends of the hood and trunk lid and I had to hand lay out the rest in between with fine line tape. Took a while to get the curves right but in the end it came out great! The factory stripes were black, but I painted mine Dark Sapphire (blue) Metallic. The car was originally Mulsanne Blue (as far as I could tell from the hidden areas I uncovered. Thing had quite a history! I bought it as a (barely) roller from a friend and it had changed hands between 4 other friends of his before he got it. And every one of them screwed something up! Things like cutting the radio pigtail from the windshield instead of disconnecting it. No biggie, the windshield was smashed when I got it and had to be replaced anyway. When I got it, the car was Arctic White (which is a dingy yellowish white) and it looked like whoever painted the stripes on it just used masking tape and a rattle can! I used a REAL DeVilbiss spray gun! I did the bodywork (it took a lot of body work; I must have put a gallon of Bondo on it and sanded most of it off). I had it shot in "Bright White" which is the old school GM #10 Corvette white aka "Refrigerator White" and that was the only thing I didn't do myself on the entire car (other than having the windshield replaced on my lunch hour the first day I drove it to work). I miss that car! 😭

My family and I raise pigeons with tags on them to keep track and where they travel too and show how many bird come back home. Bird stop by to get some quick water break and fly back. We use them to race for competitions and win trophies 🏆 . We also have some pigeon that do crazy flips in mid air like barrel roll and backflips roll. Love your videos keep it up the good work.
