Hi all! Builder and driver of Fluorine here! Honestly not much to say concerning my less than stellar performance against Gumbo. I was using a new weapon motor for this event, one that didn't take as long to ship out to me as the previous one. This new motor had a slightly longer shaft on the end of it. This meant that there was a lot more force being applied to this part of the motor, and it just couldn't take the pressure and failed... twice. It was a spectacular way to lose if nothing else and at least the robot was technically fully functional at the end of both of my fights with Gumbo. It also led to an amazing grudge match against Hellfire, which was probably a highlight of the event. My plan for the next event is to just switch back to the old weapon motor since that one never had this issue. My more permanent solution is to try and possibly make a proper hubmotor for Fluorine. That requires time that I don't have right now though. Third place ain't bad though, and I look forward to facing off against the mighty Gumbo again soon (and hopefully winning this time) Congrats on second place guys!
We were nervous about Fluorine with his huge horizontal weapons. Which is Gumbo's weakness. We look forward to future fights and Congrats to you on another podium.
For Drive-Repeat Robotics Budget DESC For weapon Readytosky 35A blheli_s Ant Weapon ESC, Receiver I use a FS2A with a flysky radio. There is a link in the description to Palm Beach Bots where you can find everything mentioned.

Gumbo really has a hard hitting weapon. Impressive stuff.
Thank You!
Nice fights. Thanks for showing
Thanks for watching!
Awesome bot! Some changes to the drive and it’s on the first step every time!
Agreed! The problem is the chassis was printed from polycarbonate. We are now going to make them from UHMW
Gumbo made some good jambalaya out of his opponents!
Ha Ha Thanks!
2nd fight wow just took the weapon off 🙂 then later another weapon removed. Shame in the final.
It was fun and it did well. 2nd is ok for now. The bot will be back stronger.
Way to go Gumbo.
Gumbo took a beating but 2nd place is not bad at all!!🎉
Gumbo cooked fr
What electronics would you recommend for a 1 pound horizontal spinner especially a receiver

How hard is it to print tpu? I’m a beginner and would like to know.
I find it easy. I started printing TPU in 2018 with a Ender 3
so you basically shrunk Proto X
Basically. Scaling down was a challenge.
