Hi Sophia. You’re very welcome, have you checked put my review of the TM6? If not, be sure to check it out. I can’t recommend this machine enough, it’s fantastic Thanks for taking the time to comment 😀 RTF
I don't think you're gonna regret spending the money on this. Everybody and the neighbor's dog buys the Instant Pot, but the Instant Pot is not nearly as "instant" as a Thermomix!
@richardthefoodie I ordered a TM6 Today, I’ve been debating for a cpl of years if I should purchase one. It really peed me off too that you have to buy a blade cover separately! For the cost of the machine ($2260 ish in Australia) it definitely should be incl like the butterfly whisk they supply! I love the idea of sous vide foods and slow cooking! A qualm for me also was the cookidoo cost/annual subscription! Surely for the price it should be free for the eg: warranty period of the thermie? (2 years here in Australia). We get the first 6 months free. Also the ‘incentives’ for purchasing the thermie vary each month. They seem to be inconsistent in their value. As I said, I’ve just ordered my TM6…. Time will tell how I feel about it soon. But… I am excited to get mine 😊
@Bcos I Can I’m so glad that you’ve taken the plunge! I know I keep repeating myself, but you so won’t regret it 😀 Yes, I thought it important that I should mention the lack of a blade cover! For the price of the unit and not including a bit of plastic, is ridiculous. Sous vide cooking is amazing, I’m completely hooked. The tm6 is limited in size for sous vide cooking, it’s fine for chicken breast, steak and vegetables, but not whole joints. I’ve bought a separate sous vide unit now. What kind of stuff do you normally like to cook? This thing is so versatile. Check my thermomix playlist out. Do keep me updated on your tm6 journey, I’d love to hear 😀 Thanks so much supporting my channel and I hope you subscribed to the foodie family. Any more questions, please ask RTF
I bought a Tokit 3 months ago. It included simmering basket, whish, measuring cup, spoon set and scrape. Meanwhile, there is not subscription, and just cost $1500. I firmly believe that there are many automatic cookers on the rise and the TM6 is not the only option.
I am in Australia and was contemplating the Thermomix but was unsure. Then I found your videos. It convinced me to go ahead and buy it. Like others, I feel the blade cover should be included - it's almost $60 here in Australia. I've just spent almost $2,500 on the thermie and a small handful of accessories. I'm going to make sure it is worth it! Also wanted to say I didn't know what Sous vide was until I watched this video. I'd heard the term in plenty of videos, but no explanation of what it was. Thank you!
@Cheryl Wright - aww thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely comment! I’m really pleased my videos have helped you make up your mind to go ahead and purchase a thermie. You won’t regret it, believe me. The blade cover, here in the U.K, the new ones double up as a vegetable peeler. I’m yet to buy one yet though. Sous vide cooking is just unreal. Please try my sous vide mushroom chicken, it is delightful! The only negative about sous vide cooking in the tm6 is the limited space in the bowl. I’ve now purchased a stand alone sous vide unit. Please keep me updated on your tm6 journey. Maybe suggest things you’ve cooked for me to cook on the channel. This weekend I use the Tm6 to help produce the crispiest roast potatoes. The video will be up today or Sunday. Many thanks for your support, I really appreciate it 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
@@RichieTheFoodie, the cover here doubles as a peeler too. I have a load of food allergies, and hoping the Thermomix will make eating easier for me. The rest of the family love spicy, but I can't eat anything with onion, garlic, chilli, curry etc. I'm also allergic to seafood. It's going to be interesting. I will certainly look for your mushroom chicken video. My thermo is supposed to arrive sometime in the coming week. Thanks again.
@@CherylWrightAuthor I’m sure you will find many uses for it, either way! If you have any further questions or need any help, you know where I am. Thanks again very much for supporting the channel. I hope you keep me posted on your TM6 journey from time time. 🙋🏻♂️😀RTF
I also considered it for a long time and finally chose Tokit automatic kitchen utensils. Because Tokit is cheaper and has all the features of TM6. Sous vide can be used to cook many French dishes, and I often use Tokit for it.
@@herbertwilliam8480 thanks again, I’m definitely going to check this out. I’m very intrigued. Oh, and I absolutely love sous vide cooking. I bought a stand alone unit due to the limited bowl size on the tm6
Hi Val, that was just a random figure I put the timer on, so it would be still set over the hour cooking time after I’d prepped. It would hear the required temperature needed here in around 5-7 minutes. Thanks, RTF
Thanks for this - currently deciding to buy one or not so really helpful!

Sou vide is great! Liked the review tm6 . Thanks for informing about the blade guard.
Thanks Bret, much appreciated! Have you ordered a tm6 yet?

Why does it take so long to preheat the water? An hour and a quarter really?
