- Anyone seen the cartoon tv show over on Disney+ called Sandland?
Just me then, well I loves the show and the cool vehicles that were in it, so I decided to build a tank from scratch which looks like the tank from the show.
As always, thank you for all your support. Anyone stumbling across this channel for the first time, I'm a none professional scratch builder, who likes to make things out of old toys and trash. Weirdly shaped vehicles are one of the most fun things for me to experience. I enjoy the idea of going from base functionality to something wild and nearly pointless, but still within the realm of "Well, if COULD work..." and this type of tank is just right for that design. Great work on the build, it looks excellent!

For when your going to use yellow as your main color you could use pink or magenta as an undercoat. It’ll give you a warmer yellow. You could look up Maniac to see a more detailed video on it.
Firstly, make the tank. Secondly, thanks for the tip. I'm still rather slow at the painting side of things. I paint like I have boxing gloves on so I'm doing baby steps but learning

Great build! Your scratch build really hits all the high points as a representation of the "Sandland" tank. (In some ways, it kind of looks like a Dalek badly in need of Ozempic. I mean that in a fun way!!!)
The actual (albeit highly detailed) Bandai kit costs around $90.00 in America, so I won't be getting one anytime soon. But your build has given me ideas for other fantasy projects; especially the way you widened the basic chassis of the Marder . . . .
