- This is the Ark. My first world building spaceship for my Star Wars Dark Universe.
Each month, I plan to make a build that would fit into my Dark Universe. The Ark, scratch built from model kits and plastic junk is just the beginning.

Nice work itchy Pants! I'm super impressed with your the paint job turns around at the end with these sorts of builds. It really stood out for me on this build. Loved the subtle blue and sand colour panels.

Watching it, I thought it was a parody after hearing all the hype and how it was breaking new ground. It did that alright, broke all the fans😂🤣

Itchy Pants - To be honest, I had my doubts at first, but wow - once you put primer on it, I think you had the whole thing planned. Excellent build! 👍
It's always a bit touch and go until the paint goes down. Then with a little wet on wet, and my special tissue. The paint hides all the wrong doings and makes it look like something 😂🤣😂. I have a general idea but no plan.

Itchy pants. The little portly spaceman actually fits quite well with this build for some reason. I also like the addition of the minty blue you used.

Itchy Pants. The Ark reminds me a little bit of some of the ships that artist JIm Burns painted in the 1970's and 80's. I like how it turned out.

Itchy pants and awesome build! I've been searching for some good greeblie sources (e.g. old model kits, etc.). My dream is to come across some garage sale with some a plethora of old kits for cheap. Until then...I have the family trained bring me all their old junk. Love the cool backstory too!

If you're looking for a good source of greeblies try old electronics; such as printers, VCRs and DVDs, etc. There are some really cool and odd shapes to be found once you crack them open.
@@earlware4322 Yeah! Those are great sources! In fact, I built a Han, Chewie and Jawa diaorama with old TV parts. I made a "speeder bike" out of one of my wifes deodorant containers, and the plastic grid/screen on the back of our old TV became a floor for a racing garage/paddock area. My backstory was that Han and Chewie were stuck on Tatooine while Luke visited old friends at the Toschii Station. They entered into the "Jawa GP" just to pass the time. The rules...you race from Anchor head to Mos Eisley and back on something built from materials COMPLETELY bought from the Jawas....just to make it interesting! :) Nowadays, whenever something goes belly up around here, it's scavenged for greeblies! Cheers.

No Itchy Pants were harmed in the making of this buld and/or video, thank goodness. I really loved this build and pretty much everything you've done for this dark SW 'verse so far.
I was skeptical about a few of the pieces as you glued them on, but dang!, once it was primed I knew you were on to something. Also, your painting skills are definitely getting better and better. Excellent work!!

Itchy Pants! Do I get extra Nerd points for recognizing those oval shaped greeblies as being from the Black Adam flying bike toy. I have a couple of those myself that I picked up cheap :-) Lovely looking ship, keep scratching that build sir 👍

Hey AARON it was a good show. The wifey and i robbin theres are little buddy. I was thinking can you make a landing pad or super submarine. Im not sure if you have built one of these or not. Or your version of a flying sub. From voyage to the bottom of the sea. Just wanted to see how far can a person go with junk making these things. Or fireball Xl5 gerry Andersen shows. Im sure RUclips want get you for copy right law. Knowing how much goes on RUclips. 😂 lol.
