A few months back we made Mexicans try South Indian food. You can watch that here: ruclips.net/video/5CYYRLm43J8/видео.html. This time we are in Colombia (we shot this before the pandemic) and we are making our Colombian friends try our favourite Indian snacks and sweets! Let us know in the comments what was your reaction to Colombians trying Indian snacks! Share this video with every Indian or Colombian you know and see you in the next video!
I don't understand why you are unable to show the part where you explain the ingredients and tell them how it's made. "Kerala Chips" doesn't sound like a real name, even banana chips are Kerala Chips. I am confused. It's was really disappointed when you gave green Chillies along with DHOKLA. That's not really smart. It's too hot for even 90 - 95% Indians and it's not funny at all. What on earth is a "BREAD ROLL", it's definitely not an Indian name.
I love how y'all had such variety of snacks usually in other videos they have the standard Kurkure and lays, this is truly a reflection of our society, also the information and comparisons with their local foods, good job you guys
Haha. Ya. We felt the same. Americans have tried a lot of Indian food, but rest of Latin America are in the dark. So we decided to make Mexicans try South Indian food when we were traveling Mexico and this video in Bogota. We love sharing our culture and food while we are getting to know theirs. We have more such reaction videos planned. Hope to see you around!
It's amazing to see that India has so many spices and variety and foreigners don't know about it. Thank you guys for sharing our food with them! Really enjoyed their reactions :D
Yes.. we really wanted to share the foods that are not normally available in Indian restaurants like Chicken tikka or naan. These are the snacks we grew up with and was fun to learn about their snacks too!
Great content, real people, real reactions and an atmosphere of real goodness. Awesome feel you guys! Thank you for keeping it real 😍 Can't wait for another 😍
@@SecondBreakfast oh.. I thought you were an NRI.. So tried saying in a language easy to understand.. And yes, i was talking about Raita.. I like it that way.. Chakli.. You should try with tamarind ketchup.. You will like it.. Papdi Chat, sorry I couldn't see the curd.. Apologies.. Good content by the way.. 👍
We try to see if there are Indian restaurants around and what food they got. Usually it will be North Indian food. We also reach out to Indians living in a place to see if some dishes can be cooked by them!
I really liked the fact that you kept so many different types of dishes. Still, there are a lot more from South, North-East, Rajasthan, Kashmiri-waiting for next try test ✌😋
We got Mexicans to try South Indian food in our last video. So we want to do something different in Colombia! But what food we make them try also depends on what is available in their country! We will try to include food from the South, North East and more in the future! Thanks for your suggestion!
Por favor, venha para a Índia e desfrute de comida deliciosa.Ven a la India y disfruta de una deliciosa comida.Kom alsjeblieft naar India en geniet van heerlijk eten🦙.
Please share vlogs on colombia for those indians tourist who are planning trip there in future as there hardly any desi vlogs available. anyway this vlog is awesome.
Thank you! We have a couple of vlogs from Colombia. 36 hours in Cartagena: ruclips.net/video/RamI-VB2R58/видео.html Colombia’s Exotic Fruits: ruclips.net/video/fuvoXjwSxgw/видео.html We have a couple more in the pipeline! Hopefully we will release them soon!
Second Breakfast thanks for sharing i will explore all that vlogs and if possible do make a seprete vlog on colombia for indian tourist pros & con do's and Dont may that help for our future indian tourist visting colombia. thanks
Few days ago one American tourist came to me , he was very happy seeeing jumping in joy as he seen brown guy ..so he wanted ti make a video me reacting American foods like burger, doughnuts, sandwich 😏 iykwim
I enjoyed this as a west Indian girl married to a Colombian ... LOVE love love Colombians absolutely adorable beautiful kind people!!! the participants in this video had me rofl 🇨🇴🇬🇾 do more 🤣🤣🥰🥰😍😍😍
Thank you for your comment! Colombians are such friendly welcoming people 😍 We will make more videos once this corona is over and and we can hang out with people again! 💖
All types of banana chips are very common in Latin America.. ripe, up ripe, sweet, spicy, savoury.. they’ve already tried them.. they had never heard of or tried Karela, it has a unique bitter taste so we thought that would be the best thing for them to try.. papdi was in the papdi chaat already! Thanks for watching.
Haha nice one. Fernando is an eater like me. Either he likes something or he doesn't. Language could be a barrier for him but still that's how one must be IRL and not try to be a MasterChef expert.
There is no Hindi word for it. It’s a typical North Indian tea time snack. It’s made with a slice of white bread filled will mashed potato and spices and deep fried! It’s like a samosa but the other covering is bread!
Such a fun video guys! Loved to see them try Indian food. Expressions are just priceless. Have shared Indian food with my friends here and they loved it too. Probably next time should make a video since it’s so much fun watching this 🥰😍
Usually everyone would have already tried Samosa. That’s why we didn’t include them! Can’t find golgappa in Colombia!! Otherwise that will be amazing to make them try! Of course we miss golgappa too! :(
Hi Abhi! One of the other commenters pointed this out to us! Until then we also didn’t know the difference. We ordered Dhokla and this is what we got. Also, all the Dhokla we have had till now in India have looked yellow
@@SecondBreakfast even in india people do not know the difference and they use wrong name. Khaman is yellow and made from chana dal. And dhokla is white, sour and fermented made from rice and lentils. Both are very different dish and there is no dish named as khaman-dhokla. It is north indians who use it wrong names.
I really love everything about this video.... The way everyone reacted was superb ... I didn't expect them to like rasugula .... Cause not many foreigners like it but they loved it ...which is quite impressive
Hahahaha Avi and Ruchi, we watched it and thoroughly enjoyed after the previous Hit Mexicans Trying Indian Food..And Oh Hell Yeah, Kachori ftw! \(' ',)/

Never ate karela chips.

Refreshing that someone in the youtube world realized there are non gringos that can react to our food as genuinely aswell. 🥵🤧🤝

Foreigners trying out Indian Chakhna 😅 They are risking their lives!
Haha! They enjoyed it though. They were very good sport and tried everything!
Boondi + Beer = My next party combo!
Oh don't forget mung Dal
I will never forget their expressions when they ate the Karela Chips.. and also with the chili hahahah
It's amazing how none of those snacks have meat in them unlike most of Western or asian snacks...
Yep they were very surprised that we didn't have any meat!
Guy in the NASA top is so lovely! What a nice guy :)
We will pass on your compliment to Oscar! :)
And he's super cute.
Love that everyone seems to be having such a fun time trying new foods, great idea!!! Love it😀

Oscar thinks like an indian, goes well with liquor 🤣
Was it easy to find indian food there? Like jalebi, dhokla?
Our Indian friend who lives in Bogota made the food. She takes Indian cooking classes for locals lol!!
im indian and im seeing a karela chip for the first time...wtf
Mee too bro
It's banana chips from kerala. but actually it tastes good. I don't know what they have given , it's actually golden yellow.
It's amazing to see that India has so many spices and variety and foreigners don't know about it. Thank you guys for sharing our food with them! Really enjoyed their reactions :D

Viva Columbia !!
Love from India
Tell them we worship Shakira here in India, and we want the queen of latin music here again.❤️
Well guess what she's back
The fear of chilli is real!
Jalebi ko 6.9 milé haiiiii We made songs around this sweetdish in India.:)
Haha! Ya. They are not into sweets! By the way, what song is this? Love to find out!
What they feeling spicy for just boondi??😯😯
I have been to India a couple of time. It is not Rasgulla. It is Rosogolla. It's native to the Bengalis and it tastes delicious.
Great content, real people, real reactions and an atmosphere of real goodness. Awesome feel you guys! Thank you for keeping it real 😍 Can't wait for another 😍
Majority of it is fried food - still Indian food is healthiest
All the snacks I love and can’t get :( at least till whenever the world opens up for travel.
Hopefully soon :)
Who gives plain boondi??
Where was the curd??
Chakli without Ketch up?
Papdi chaat with no curd either.. Dude that's blasphemy.
In the south, we eat boondi plain. Boondi with curd is raita lol! And no one in the South eats chakli with ketchup. Papdi chaat had curd don't worry!
@@SecondBreakfast oh.. I thought you were an NRI.. So tried saying in a language easy to understand.. And yes, i was talking about Raita.. I like it that way..

How do they source these things there? Nice representation of Indian snacks though.

@@SecondBreakfast ah that explains the fresh chutneys. Great initiative! 👍🏼

You'll gonna famous one day ❤️
U got all the fried stuff.. and obviously the chilly levels should have reduced a lot..
Ya. But Colombians dont eat any spice. Even the chilli we went to buy in the supermarket was sweet!
@@SecondBreakfast hahaha.. good job guys..👍👍
Omg! I love Dhokla and Chakli both so much!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Indian deserts are simply different. I’m not a big fan of sweets but Indians are legit good at everything

No one like karela... Why would you give them karela chips
are you guys making these or are you sourcing them locally? Cos that is interesting to know
sebastian - i liked it, would eat the whole thing . rating : 7
i didnt like it much, dont like sweets . rating : 7
That dude with the NASA jacket is fucking cool.
Second breakfast - it’s not “made them try” ... it’s “got them to try “ ... made them try is like Zabardasti 😂
No we actually forced them.
Second Breakfast 😂
Chakri...for instant acidity
Drink eno, not water😂
Sebastian is my type of guy. I too don't like sweet mostly.
I want to go to Bogota ,is there any Indian community to help me
I don't get the spice 🔥🔥🔥
Because these r not that spice
Everything literally was street food.
The nasa jacket guy is so Analytical ..i love it
Awesome guys! Another epic video! Keep them coming. By the way, Kachori is my favorite too.
Thank you! Those kachoris were amazing!
Even some indians like me cant handle karela 😅
Awesome!! Even I never tried few of them!!
Also Idli,Vada and Samosa need to be tried
Who serve karela chips to guests
The NASA jacket guy 🥰🌻🙏

So columbians are not used to chilly flavours.. Not used to sweet things.. What flavour do they like .😆
I’ve had Colombian food it is quite mild, and simple. I really like that but for South Asians it would probably be quite bland.
All the best 😁👍 friends
I wanna see them try out Bise Bele Bath! That would be fun!
Haha! If we can find the “Bele” part, we can try making it. We will try to make this happen!
Just found ur channel! You guys are amazing. Truly smart, genuine, educative and entertaining content. Subscribed!
Thank you
Great to see your reactions!
Loved it. Be safe and keep spreading love :)
Thank you! Hopefully we can make more such videos once the pandemic ends!
I never had karela chips
Instead of karela, you could've given typical Indian potato papdi or Kerala banana chips or unripe banana chips. There are so many great Indian chips!
Nasa guy is good with foods
I like that they give 10s
Nice selection. A lot of south snacks and rest mostly all India. Very honest reviewers. Greetings to all.
We would have had a wider variety but these snacks are hard to find in Latin America
Sebastian is a cutie! :)
Lauren=Caliente! OUCH
Please make them try (Naan - Daal) ( Chole bhature ) (dosa) these kind of food
We made Mexicans try Dosa here: ruclips.net/video/5CYYRLm43J8/видео.html
Oscar is probably 1/16th indian
Haha! Maybe! He would love to come to India though!
Everything looks so yummy! Oh now I'm really craving Chaat!! 😍
Haha nice one. Fernando is an eater like me. Either he likes something or he doesn't. Language could be a barrier for him but still that's how one must be IRL and not try to be a MasterChef expert.
was that chakli or murukku
Maxican- boondi is spicy
Indians-are u kidding me
They are not Mexican you fool, they are Colombian
Oscar if stayed in India, I would definitely make him gujarati dishes because I think he liked them the most.
There is a sweet variant of boondi should have given them that as well
We couldn't find that in Colombia!
NRI here, what was that bread roll? (Hindi word)
There is no Hindi word for it. It’s a typical North Indian tea time snack. It’s made with a slice of white bread filled will mashed potato and spices and deep fried! It’s like a samosa but the other covering is bread!
Will you eat the whole thing? With a couple of beers yeah! - Snacking Indian way
Everything is my fav ...i love food I'm a foodie...they all definitely have to eat a lot more Indian food
ofcourse it's super good because it's go smooth with beer ,,we called it side dish ,,ha ha
I am an Indian and I have never eaten Karela chips in my life... :D
You should try, it's an experience!
Such a fun video guys! Loved to see them try Indian food. Expressions are just priceless. Have shared Indian food with my friends here and they loved it too. Probably next time should make a video since it’s so much fun watching this 🥰😍
Thank you 🙏!! You should! It’s will nice to see their reactions.
Chakli forever
Next time try samosa and golgappa.
Usually everyone would have already tried Samosa. That’s why we didn’t include them!
Can’t find golgappa in Colombia!! Otherwise that will be amazing to make them try! Of course we miss golgappa too! :(
@@SecondBreakfast you can make golgappa at your place. It's not that difficult. I am sure you can do.
We will give it a try next time! It’s hard because we move every 1 or 2 months. Sometimes we don’t get Airbnbs with the right kitchen equipment.
I like how they have the Club Colombia Roja ready at the side :P
Plz make more videos like this. ....i really love it plzzzz
I really enjoy your videos keep good work
please learn the difference between dhokla and khaman. the one that you gave was definitely not dhokla. it might be nylon khaman.

Am so confused arent chillies from South America... How arent they able to handle spice?
Not South America...North America particularly Mexico.
Yes chillies are from Mexico.. Colombians don’t really eat spicy food, and are not used to Indian spices like cumin, cloves, black pepper etc
Second Breakfast I like simple flavors more so I love Colombian food. Also all the exotic tropical fruits are fun.

Those kachori were amazing!!
The dishes should be grade based on the taste instead of grading them on their preferences.
Hl. Rosely taste is a preference no? 😉
@@SecondBreakfast preference is not a taste though
You should have mentioned that each and everyone thing they tried was vegetarian and didn't contain a single piece of meat in there.
True.. but we didn't want to tell them anything beforehand and make them truly surprised!

I watched your video for the first time and instantly subscribed. You guys are amazing.

Sebastian is really handsome.
Legend says they are still having Kachori and Dhoklas with Beer😁😜😜
😂😅
where is the samosa
Most foreigners would have tried Samosa and are very familiar with it. We wanted them to try thing they usually don’t get in Colombia.
This is literally what we call chakna.
Usually had with alcoholic beverages.
Yep! We should have ordered more beer! 🍻
I don't blame them bout the karela
